The App to drop off vehicle was not working correctly and staff at store not helpful had to call tech support. It should not take a person over 30 minutes to return a truck

JACOB GI turned the truck in the same day I took it and it wasn't reported, but it got cleared up and everything was good.there was just that little hiccup and that was all.
ROB CThe customer service at this location was the worst experience I've had. I had a reservation for 12pm to pick up my U-Haul. There was only one person in the entire location that could complete the checkout, despite having filled out everything on the app prior. When I got there just right after 12pm, the only person that could get me the keys was on their lunch break and didn't come back until almost 1:30pm. I wasted over an hour of my day waiting on the U-Haul, and I was already on a time constraint. There was never an apology, and they were not friendly either, despite my continued patience through all of it. I will never be renting a U-Haul again from this Ace Hardware.

Jewel TThis truck is not suited for out of town travel. The driver and passenger doors do not seal well when closed. It is very loud in the interior of the cabin with the sound of the wind while driving on the highway. It is an old truck.
Christopher KNo one knew what was going on with my reservation and self check in process is a joke. Took us 3 people and 3 phones, when it was supposed to be easy, then there were no furniture pads or dollys in the van and upon driving to the actual UHAUL store and picking up the rest of my items for moving, we asked about the other items we asked for and the gentleman working I believe his name was Jonathan couldn't even get us set up with the furniture pads or dolly because there was no way to transfer to that location for pickup which makes no sense !!! This whole process took about 2 hours when our truck was ready to be loaded and we didn't even have all the supplies necessary that we confirmed for reservation. All this on top of making me go to 2 separate locations for my supplies because the actual UHAUL store "didn't" have a 9ft truck available, but upon pulling up to the UHAUL store there where 10-15 trucks of that size there.
Garrett HI don’t like the fact that they didn’t do a walk through with me when I picked up the truck they just gave me the keys and when I brought it back they didn’t do a walkthrough only took the keys back I don’t know how many miles was in there and I didn’t know how many miles I drove

The first guy I dealt with said the worst part of his job was U-Haul but 2nd guy took care of my issues. 3rd the door jammed twice they said that was normal and they don't have any dolly on any truck!! Won't use your company again

James EOver charge for gas, and collision coverage that Ispecufically denied. Just only sent the receipt after the person accepted the key agreed that I returned with photo proof. Finally, he gave me back for overcharge gas fee even I returned with more than I picked up.

Finally gave up and dropped the keys in the key box and called the customer service desk to let them know the van was returned

Sierra LHad 9 am pick-up time. Clerk didn't show for 30 minutes. ACE Hardware employees (UHaul is a concession within this ACE) stated clerk is often late. We rented appliance dolly, but were given a crummy regular dolly. At least a different UHaul clerk (who was on duty when we returned truck 4 hours later) gave us a credit. The truck we rented was a bit worn, but functional. Penske has better equipment.
Craig JI rented a van to avoid furniture delivery charges: very easy! A bit of a wait at the rental location (about 30 minutes), but folks were friendly. A couple small suggestions: 1. The van was low on gas when I got it, so I was given a credit for me to go purchase $12,82 of gas. Not a big deal, but I was a little pressed for time. And putting so little gas in means the next person will have to get gas as well. 2. $20 is a fine price, but adding on $10 for insurance means I am a bit less likely to rent a van. Possibly there could be a lower charge for e.g. under 2 hours and 20 miles?

Jayne HThe floor of the truck was dirty from muddy feet of prior renter. This was a one-way rental. I made the reservation with the U-Haul facility a few block from my home. To my surprise, U-haul had me drive about 5 miles to the other side of town to pick up the truck. Further, when I picked up,the truck, it only had 1/4 tank of gas in it, so I had to make another stop to add gas before making our trip.

Cain AFix your app for handling returns. I was not able to upload the odometer picture so I could no continue. I was successful when I used the web pqge.
STEVE FRepresentative was friendly and got me going. The truck seemed very clean and well maintained at first. As time went on I became a little concerned about the transmission and the oil level. Nothing definite but the oil gauge was on low and the truck bulked at a stop light right before I came to my destination.
