Easy and Efficient! I would recommend this U-Haul service. My Moving day was a smooth transition from original location to new dwelling. Helpful furniture dolly and large protective blankets provided! I would definitely use this service again.julie P.
I had a rental/reservation for a 15' U-Haul and an Appliance Dolly. When I arrived for the pickup there was no Appliance Dolly. I was extremely disappointed. I place this rental for 1 purpose and 1 purpose only. I needed to move 3 refrigerators between 3 houses. Your website lets you make reservations/rentals regardless if the product is actually available. I had people lined up in Woodbury, MN and Cologne, MN to help with this timely and scheduled move. 100 miles of total trip travel and a scheduled window of time to complete these moves. I called U-Haul and they were no help to get me an appliance dolly from another location. I searched the internet and found a company in a city 20 minutes away that had an appliance dolly I could rent. I drove out of my way to rent this Dolly, at a premium price of almost $30. This set me back an hour and $30 financially. All in all I was very frustrated and upset. Not only did this cost me money, it also cost the people time that were waiting to help me move these refrigerators. Very poor customer service on U-Hauls part. NOTE - the U-Haul rental location and service person that rented me the U-Haul were great. They were friendly and provided good service. U-Haul the company/Website failed me big time with allowing me to book a product they know they didn't have and leave me high and dry the day of my reservation to just figure it out.Derek B.

When I arrived the location was locked and closed with a hand-written sign on the door saying the employee would be back. No time, no number to contact.Sam H.
The truck ride was so bumpy and vibrating so hard that we were nauseous throughout the trip and had back of the neck headaches. We could only tolerate going 45/50 miles an hour for much of the trip, so it took us an extra long time to get to our destination. This was a terrible experience. Apparently these trucks are not frequently inspected or tested for performance.Joseph N.

The actual location was great. However the downfall that I can see is the U-Haul 24/7 truck share. I did not have a good experience with the system. I would much rather deal with people in person over using the 24/7. I did not find it user friendly. I had problems with the checkout process as well as the check-in process.Christopher K.

Our truck had trouble starting after we had arrived at our storage unit. Took a few tries to get it to turn over. Also, took A LOT of gas for the little we drove it. Maybe that is typical.Michael A.
They went above and beyond to help get me on the road. I was running a little late to pick up my 20ft Uhaul Truck and the manager waiting for me, got their system back up and running on got me on the road quickly. I would recommend this location for your next Uhaul rental!Chadd S.

I had several issues with the check in and check out with 24/7. I like the idea of doing this on the app, but I had to use the e-mail to check in (not just using the app) which was confusing and for the drop off - the app kept crashing on step 4 of 5 so I had to start over 2 times and retake all the images. Pick up and drop off was a headache - otherwise I had a very smooth rental.Richard L.

I used the 24x7 checkin and checkout which worked great. The only suggestion I would make is during the checkin flow have the renters take a picture of the mileage and gas level. I ended up doing so after completing the checkin but it didn't prompt me to do so.Stephen P.

Awful. My dolly wasn't there. They messed up my reservation that was supposed to be in Shakopee but it ended up in Chaska. It was supposed to be a walk in office for check in, nope. They told me I could return the truck to Shakopee, nope got there they said they won't take it. Customer service completely non existent. I'm going to post this review as well.Tamara P.

I had trouble with the U-Haul online system and it took me an extra 90 minutes to pick up vehicle. (I showed up early.) I then called the 800 number and was placed on hold for 20 min after which the receiving end hung up. To make matters even worse, I tried the online chat. It didn't work. I finally used my son's iPhone (he has the latest version) whereas mine is a year old and we were finally able to do the online pick up. The overall experience was terrible. (I wish I had spoken to real human being.)David W.
We were unsure where and how to park the U-Haul upon return. So tired and hot after moving all day! Sam came right out and said he'd Actake of our return (parking & checking out. The truck was pretty old and was a bit of a wreck to drive. The A/C did not work well and the truck only had slightly more than a 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up. I was charged for EZ Refueling despite returning with the same amount of gas. I did get the $39 credited back but I am suspicious that it wasn't an accident. All in all they have a good location and $120 for a 6 hour, 60 mile round trip move is definitely reasonable so I would recommend for a friend---just be aware of the final billing and maybe test drive the truck if you are concerned about driving a 105k plus mile truck....Keith S.
Dash indicated that the tire air pressure monitoring system needed to be serviced. Tires looked good so assumed it was a bad sensor. Otherwise everything else was great!STEVE Y.
The mobile ordering was a pain. Only gave 12 am to 7am as options for pick up. Wasn't a fan of all the verifying and hunting for the key, then as we were trying to look over the truck there were so many knicks that weren't marked, as we took pictures it moved on to the next section before we were done. We had to wait until the office opened because we didn't want to be responsible for what we saw. It was stressful and the flat dolly we asked for wasn't in the truck.Andrew E.

Had a specific pick up time and it was changed 2 hours later. I had to sit and wait for someone to come. All he gave me was free rental on a dolly. I had to cancel part of my job today because the gentleman behind the counter said I needed to have the rental back by 4, even though he made me wait until he got there. The employees was awesome and I know had to do his job just really upset that I reserved the truck for 24 hours and then got a call saying it was due at 9am when I picked it up at 7pm the night before since I planned to wake up and load the truck so ended up having to pay extra money for the truck which made me upset but wasn't the employee was kinda other than the issue of knowing the stress The truck being reserved already by someone else and me needing it stillLogan B.

The phone number provided (952-368-3251) was never answered and provided no voice mail, it simply stopped ringing. I was unable to reach anyone when I returned the truck at 4pm on Saturday and I have been unable to reach anyone since that time.Brad C.

The lock was frozen shut. When I called u haul to help me the lady asked if I "tried warming up the lock". It's mid December in Minnesota, there isn't much to do. Thankfully one of the managers at the location happened to be at work 1,5 hrs early with a blow torch... Within 3 seconds of the torch it unlocked. He said it was at least his third time this year using a torch to open the locks. For being a u haul in Minnesota it should have the locks in a warmer location or at least have a room over the locks to somewhat help from snow and freezing rain. The lady on the phone never called me back like she said she would so again, thankfully there was an amazing worker who knew how to help.Caitln S.
We were quoted approx $150-200, we were charged $371 on pick up. We filled the tank back up to 3/4 and were still charged additional for gas. We were promised a partial refund on the overcharge and still haven't received it back to my card.Tanner M.

This dealer is such a cheat that.. he never give the U-Haul truck with full gas tank. We always return the vehicle after filling the gas for the miles we drove, but he simply charge extra money stating gas is less. This kind of mess or confusion will not happen if he gives the vehicle with full tank. When we call him to discuss about why I was charged more even after filling the fuel. Only answer we get from this dealer is to call customer care service to raise dispute. Why do we have to go through all this even though the vehicle properly. Hope this review helps others.SURYA M.
