I was charged for an extra day despite returning after hours the same day of rental despite AND being told by the otherwise great folks that helped at the counter that they would check me in the next day for a 1 day charge. A $19 disappointment, but really not cool. If I had more time to dispute it, I would.

Luke MCustomer service was not good! The woman at the cash register was very rude and unpleasant! There was a small empty paper bag left in the back of the U-Haul caravan. She made a point to tell me "Make sure to clean out the back of the truck because I could have charged you"! As she walks back inside the store holding the empty bag above her head. It wasn't the comment it was how she said it, very cold and mean! I'll never come back to this location again.
jeffery SThe email statement of charges totaled $40,62 but my online bank statement tells me that U Haul deducted $71,46 from my card for payment. I actually filled the gas tank to full before dropping the vehicle back off even though I picked up the van with less fuel than that. Can someone please explain what the difference in charges of $30,84 was for?
James MThe ap didn't work, fortunately we had another phone that it did work on but would've been stuck if we hadn't had that. Otherwise was good.

Brian LThis Uhaul location at 1547 5th Ave NE only has ONE van. I was assigned a return time without being asked if the time worked for my schedule. I had to return the van 1 hr 20 min after the return time. I was charged an ADDITIONAL $59!!!!!! This is unjust and inaccessible!!!!!!

LORETTA BI have no problem with the location, though the staff seemed less than impressed at working on behalf of UHaul. The entire reservation process and website were onerous and extremely difficult to navigate. Also, somehow I got charged a supplemental $11, I assume for additional insurance against damage, which I declined several times. Apparently it gets charged anyhow because UHaul wants to add it and bump up the price that they feel is too low to make money. When will businesses like UHaul learn that business is not a race to the bottom. Provide a quality product at a fair (not cheap) price and be very transparent, using tools that a customer can use without feeling like a criminal or feeling like he's being tricked? It ain't that hard, UHaul. Figure it out.

Shauna U-The truck was clean. -The staff/site was very organized -The manager is NOT AT ALL FRIENDLY AND QUITE PRICKLY -The truck had something wrong with the wheel/alignment that made it very difficult for the (experienced UHaul truck) driver. We rent trucks regularly for business, and this was very bad.

Rosario BTires need to be replaced. They couldn't even handle slight inclines with a thin layer of snow on the ground. It was ridiculous trying to get around with it...
Melissa HI had booked a truck for this location. When I arrived UHaul had changed the location without informing me. I was told I would get a 24 hour notice on any changes. I did not. When the girl at the counter looked up my reservation, it said they had called, left a message and sent an email with the change. I showed her I had no email or any messages on my phone. She was also unable to tell me where this other location was in her system. I received two emails from UHaul before I arrived, one for the initial reservation and the other to submit my drivers license. Nothing more. Luckily this location had a no show before me and I eventually got a truck. This could have been an issue if I would have had to drive to another location further away with my moving guys waiting back at the move site. Please work to rectify this in the future.

Kami MThe front desk person was excellent. Great explanations, the best I've heard in 30+ years of rentals. The vehicle, however, was unsafe. The transmission disengaged at highway speeds - twice. The first time, I put it down to user error; maybe I hadn't put the shifter firmly in the right position. No, the transmission was shot, it disengaged again driving city streets back to the dealer.

Kerry BU-Haul should put more money into engine maintenance. This is definitely NOT the responsibility of the branch offices. (If it is, it shouldn't be.) The person I dealt with at Acorn Mini Storage was helpful, courteous, and professional.

Haleigh DOnline check in is absolutely terrible. It's buggy and it took me over twenty minutes each of the past two times I did it. There needs to be a faster way to check in beforehand. The dashboard odometer doesn't show all the numbers all the time because of the frequency at which the light is flashing (digitally) so you need to take a million pictures til you actually have all the numbers shown in your photo

John SDon't change the location and time of a truck pick up without notifying the customer. Fortunately, this was supposed to be my pick up spot before I learned it was changed, and the man who had this location was able to give me a truck on the spot. He was extremely friendly and understood my frustration, and I could not be more grateful for him.
Zoe CI LOVED the add in option for movers! I was picking up furniture at a furniture store. I new I needed extra help, so instead of bothering friends and sons to offer to pay them, I had movers for two hours to load and unload furniture!

Don SWe found quite a bit of garbage behind the passenger seat. I know I was charged a $25 cleaning fee upon drop off, however, the vehicle I received was not cleaned. Also, I'm not entirely convinced about the method for reviewing the vehicle for damage prior to leaving. The text I received to confirm damages came while I was driving off the property and clearly I didn't read it until I was well off the property. Perhaps in the automated system this text could appear sooner?

LINDA AI would think a 15' truck would mean one has 15' to work with! The truck was only 12'? I ordered it well in advance then have to pick up in a new location? One person says return on Monday 6th then a text no by 7:00 am Sunday???????????
