Jean LIn our experience phone is never answered. We drove to location three weeks before pickup and ordered in person. Very good personnel in person, we were told we can pick up when they open at 9am. On designated day at 9am we arrived to locked doors. Soon there were four more customers, all of us waiting….two other parties arrived and left. Bottom line, at 9:58 a worker arrived and he informed us that his supervisor scheduled him for 10am. Worker was very nice and efficient, it evidently wasn't his fault, but about 6 or more paying customer groups were very inconvenienced when place didn't open at 9am. Also, we had to remove snow on our truck windshield, after being over an hour behind schedule already, and it had t snowed the day before, but two days earlier so there was time to have it removed before our arrival. Also we find that your website is not very user friendly, which is why we went physically in the first place
Michael PLocation accepts reservations and shows hours opening at 9:00am on Saturdays. No one was scheduled to work until 10:00am, so we waited over an hour to pickup the truck along with several other people who had reservations at 9. Their scheduling needs major improvement.
Joseph KThe person at the uHaul location was awesome. She was very nice and helped me get the dolly and moving pads to my truck. I also wanted to give a shout out to Adaptive Movers who we hired to help move all of our furniture. They were fantastic! The owner of the company was great with communication, letting me know when the movers would arrive and just confirming details before our move date. The movers themselves were rock stars! They were fast, efficient, and knew exactly what they were doing. I will for sure hire them again if we have to move again. Overall great experience.
Michael JNot sure how to even respond to this. I have rented with Uhaul multiple times and EVERY time I use the app to PICK UP my rental, there is a problem. I normally rent these vehicles to deliver and set up large weddings with deadlines and am late every time thanks to UHaul. You've got to do better!!!! These rentals are not cheap and we should be getting better service than this!! Terrible

Patrick AI had to wait 20 min. for the Acorn worker to arrive before i was able to get the key to the rental. The back of the uhaul van was full of an oil like substance when i picked it up, yet i had to take serveral photos to ensure i did not leave it dirty. It really would have been much easier to rent from an actual uhaul facility. I will not make this mistake again.

Eric MOverall truck was in good condition but soon as I started it, the "tire pressure low" warning came on. The location did not have a tire inflator, so had to drive to find nearest. Thankfully did as tire was at 42 PSI with a recommended PSI of 80 and a max of 90. That's uncomfortably low for the highway travel about to do. Was a pay machine inflator so had to pay for that too.
Jeff JVery hard to back up trucks when parked on the left parking spaces. The corner is very tight and difficult to navigate when reversing.

ronald lThe online check-in process took far too long. I needed to reach customer service and it took over 20 minutes to get someone between the live chat not loading, contacting the general live chat and then telling me I needed to contact a different live chat, and waiting on hold on the phone. For a process that claims to be quick and easy, it was anything but. Additionally, the reason I needed to contact chat in the first place was that the vehicle I was renting did not have a license plate on it. It just didn't have one! Eventually, we spoke with one of the workers at the rental place, and he said that it wasn't supposed to have a license plate. That there was paperwork in the back room that was fine. That is bonkers!!
Sarah BWe had a hard time opening the lock box, luckily, we had help from a worker that was just starting her shift and opened the store (9:00 am). It did put us behind schedule as we had an 8:00 am pickup time.

Caldwell LCriminally shady practices, told me I could return it any time before 10am and did NOT tell me that I was required to confirm my return on the app (I don't use apps) so proceeded to charge me double the rental rate for an extra day that I did not even have the truck. Truck was a piece of junk, check engine light came on and it died 3 times. Was charged for 2 gallons of gas even though I only drove it 12 miles. Do NOT do business with these clowns.

Kaleb BResv was logger online fairly easily. Had a question later that day & called acorn office speaking to Kang. He was very polite and helped answer my questions. The day of the rental, we were assisted by the young woman who appeared to be the lead or mgr on duty for both p/u and drop off. She was terrific! Friendly and efficient. The biggest lag in the experience was a few bits of the data updating in the computer system taking a min or 2, and that was very minor. It was easy, smooth, and cc billing accurate. We will certainly use this loc's services again in the future.
Lani CThe location was fine. The do-it-yourself pickup/drop off was a first-class pain. The UHaul website kept crashing (4x) while trying to check out the truck. Each time I had start over (again and again and again). Then the UHaul app froze and I had to turn off the app and start over (again). Customer service tried to help but the overall experience as frustrating, annoying, time consuming, and an overall pain in the ass. Checking it back in with the "take a picture of everything" process was also a time consuming annoyance. I feel like UHaul owes me for my time (and renting the truck wasn't cheaper even though I did all the work).

James MGas gauge needs to be checked. Only drove 16 miles and took nearly 6 gallons of fuel. It was difficult to take off gas cap - was almost as the top had been removed.

kathleen jWe had problem with the U-haul automated (phone) check-in Ap. It failed to credit our return, and we were charged an extra day. We tried calling U-haul directly, and they never answer the phone. The local location gave us a (U-haul) supervisor's phone number, but his in-box was full, and not accepting messages. He did reply to Email, and credited our account.
Rich ZI had to get roadside service to Jumpstart the truck 3 times during the time I had it rented. Waited 90 minutes each time to receive the help. Was not able to utilize it to the extent I needed it due to these issues. Still had to pay for everything such as mileage and gas, simply deducted the truck fee itself of $20. While I also have a business I run the absolute inconvenience that this caused me and my not being able to complete my move due to it and still costing me $150 has left a poor taste in my mouth and I will look to other companies in the future for my needs.

john CWhy would you charge my card after I left the location. I PAID $100 With out any milage including can someone explain? When I return they said your good, my card was charged again $46 really? It was during business hours so why not just tell me hey expect an unexpected charge from us.
