Make sure your office equipment works. I was given a note pad piece of paper with them mileage written down on it and it was wrong. Made sure to take a picture when I started it. Luckily the information was updated correctly so I wasn't overcharged for mileage.

Byron J.The truck was disgusting when we picked it up. Almost seemed like someone was using it for garbage and landscaping, it smelt terrible and was fifty. Even the cab was dirty, there were gloves and personal belongings all over the place. We had to use our own blankets on the ground of the truck sonce we were transporting mattresses, we ended up throwing away the blankets afterwards because they were so filty with white powder and dirt. I have pictures if you need proof. The lady attending to us was not very friendly either and was very short with my questions and made it feel like we were a total inconvenience. We only used the truck to for a total of 11 miles. And as soon as we turned it on there was a warning message for maintenance, also within the first couple of minutes of driving there was another error message saying the gas cap was not on all the way, we checked it and it was on as right as it could go. Terrible experience, I would never recommend.

Timothy C.Wasn't given a link to verify mileage , cleanliness, etc. I asked and they said they don't do that. Hadn't been cleaned in interior. Had dirt and leaves. I would never go through a convenience store U-Haul because they don't have the knowledge, the customer service and don't keep them clean. Only reason I did was because the truck i ordered at U-Haul wasn't back. These convenience stores should have to abide by same standards as U-Haul stores.

Shivi B.What is the point of online check in if I have to go through the entire process when I picked up the vehicle? I asked the salesperson this question and they didn't have an answer. I thought that by providing my contact and payment information online I would not be asked to do it when I picked up the vehicle. The paperwork indicated there was more fuel in the vehicle than there was and when I mentioned it and the paperwork was corrected. Other than these issues it was a fine experience.
Gregory L.It's located inside of a gas station convenience store. Makes you feel like the location isn't legit. All of the trucks are packed into a tiny area that make it extremely difficult just to get out of the parking lot. Vehicles were dirty and damaged. The truck that I received had steering, brake and transmission issues. I was waiting for the thing to break down at any moment. When I dropped the vehicle off, the individual working the front came back out and asked me to move the truck a spot over that she was parked in. Nothing major but when you run a uhaul rental service out of the front desk of a gas station convenience store it makes the whole interaction feel off.

Charlotte B.I was disappointed with U Haul because I didn't booked my truck from this location. I found out I had to go to this location to pick up the truck AFTER I ARRIVED at the location I booked the truck. If the truck is not available at the location that I asked for, then U Haul should have notify me, but didn't. So, I had to drive back and forth to different locations. That was not very nice!
John Y.The truck smelt terrible on the inside. Like cigarettes and carcasses. I booked everything online and even checked in online. Upon arrival, the associate had great difficulty with this. It took nearly 20 minutes to get the keys, despite having already checking in. Was asked for the phone number of my emergency contact 3 times. Despite checking in online, still had to check in with ID, CC, etc. Terrible experience. I felt like I needed a bath before I left the parking lot with the truck. No way it had been cleaned.

Jerald S.The communication was difficult and lacking. When I asked about simple operational questions of the vehicle, the store person did not know or how to help. When I got in the truck, it was displaying a "needs oil changed" light and the truck was dirty. It appeared it was not cleaned or maintained. And when I called to get an extension of the rental, I was asked to call another number and got kind of a run-around. The text and email confirmations took 3 hours to be received, leaving me to question the confirmation. And when I dropped off the truck, the store person was on the phone and told me she would just send me the final receipt over email. I said no, I wanted to confirm and agree with the final amount before leaving. The location is good. But the employees at the store seemed uninformed, unavailable and unappreciative of having rental business. Not a good experience.
CINDY A.The truck I used had dirt and debries in it, obviously had not been swept out by the former renter. It didn't really bother me and did not affect my usage of packing boxes and furniture in it. This location is the best, though! The people are so nice and very efficient!

Nithish V.The agent didn't suggest we go check the condition of the truck before rental. When I alerted them that the check engine light was on, the reply was not to worry about it. The mileage was off as well as the level of gas. This rental location is cramped into a convenience store. Parking lot has NO room to turn around or move a 26' truck.
daniel B.Though I filled the gas to the same level as what it was during pick up, I was charged with $23 just for gas. I ran the vehicle in total for 9 miles. How can it be $23 even if he thinks I did not fill gas
VEERA CHAITANYA K.Nothing really stood out about this location being great or anything. Frankly, the lot was tight. I used the 26' truck and maneuvering was a tad challenging, considering the gas stands and smaller lot size. I don't think a smaller truck would've had these issues. And I'm not saying the lot was bad either. If I had to pick up here again I would.

John O.I wasn't told to double check the gas level before leaving and what it was marked as was much higher than it actually was. I ended up spending an additional $50+ dollars on gas and was told I could still be charged because it was just under the mark they had it at. Not a good experience during an already stressful move.
ashley M.Either something is wrong with the truck or the owner cheated me. I drove a total of 14 miles and I had to put $32,02 worth of gas into the tank upon return. She charged me an additional $13,8 for more gas. All I moved was one refrigerator. $45,82 in gas to drive 14 miles with an almost empty truck? I don't think so.
