The woman in the office was super friendly and helpful. She had scraped the windows and warmed up the truck before I arrived. I was in and out of the office in less than 5 minutes. Best U haul experience ever.

There were old sheets and blankets in the trailer from a prior use. It seemed like the brakes on the trailer were dragging as it was difficult to pull and averaged only about 12 miles to gallon pulling it whereas I've averaged 20 or more pulling the same size trailer with the same vehicle in the past.

I rented a motorcycle trailer on line and none were available at the location. I was offered a 5 x 9 trailer at the motorcycle trailer rate. I was charged the higher rate.

The latch on the back of the trailer was almost unusable. I had to use so very much pressure to get it closed. The pick up went great. The drop off was odd: I rent trailers very often and this was honestly my least favorite experience thus far.

do not use u-haul corporate for ordering a truck ... use an extension service that does business face to face.

Renting a tow dolly from U-haul is confusing. Many questions are asked about what will be towing and what is being towed. However, it says nothing about the capability of the tow dolly. I come to find out that U-haul has several different models of dolly. I wish I had known this prior to renting. The dolly we rented did not work out for our van.

Only moved out because I found a unit 40 minutes closer to my house. I loved the customer service. Super clean facility.

We had to wait over an hour to get our truck because the app went down. If the hours are not available for later pick ups during the weekend-then the app needs to be simpler to use. I'm so mad I REALLY want a full refund but I know that won't happen. It took me a week to write this because I'm still angry. We had our help set to start at a specific time for a specific number of trips. However because we fought for an hour to even get the truck we ran out of time to get the right amount of trips in while we had adequate help. So then I had to go back and forth (in my own vehicle) to help during the last load with my husband even though we have 3 small children. We had everything set up to keep them safe and entertained and our helpers set to move and be fed at specific times and YOUR app put all of that into chaos!!!! I will never use a U-Haul again because of this experience. I'd rather purchase my own enclosed trailer at this rate. This was supposed to be simple and it was the absolute worst! I'm glad I didn't purchase movers from you too cuz goodness knows that would have been an entire mess as well! I can't even tell you how much I hated this experience. A momentous day for us was flipped into darkness because of an hour of our day lost! I'm still not where I wanted to be with this move because of the hour it through everyone off.

The final location that I was able to pick up the trailer at was fine, but the location my reservation was for was horrible. First, my reservation was "moved" to a different location several miles away. No call in advance. I had to drive to the reservation location, and then another 12-152 miles to Allegan. Corey, the regional manager was NO help. He hung up on me. John the "president" has apologetic, and promised me a $50 credit, but I never received the credit. Most likely, I will never use UHaul again.

Bethany and Audi are exceptional ! They went out of their way to help me with a problem with my car when lights went out to the trailer on my way from first pick up to home I stopped there and they made many phone calls to find where I could get it fixed Finally , Dexter (Bethany's husband) happened to stop by and he found problem Blown fuse! We fixed it and I was able to drive with trailer lights all working It was fhe best experience I ever had with u haul personnel!The Best!

This store was fine. I ordered a 15' truck in a location an hour away, but they did not keep my reservation. I was forced to drive an hour away to pick up a 26' truck which made me very uncomfortable. I had to drive this truck through the mountains of Tennessee. It also ate up gas much faster!

We used the remote pick up function, since we knew we would be in a rush on moving day. It took us over a half hour to pick up the truck and seemed way too complicated. I will not suggest that feature to anyone and will not be using it again.

This is the second time we have used the storage units. The employees were knowledgeable and friendly. Price of unit was acceptable and the pro rated check was issued in a timely manner.

When hauling a trailer the size of the ball is important. The lady at U-Haul had me put a ball on there that was too small so it wouldn't tighten down and it was sloppy and jerking all over the place. I had to have my son-in-law look at it and he said it was because she told me the wrong size ball. It would be better if in the future the person knew the correct size balls for the hitches. I had the correct one with me and she told me it was fine.

I was sent to this location after my reservation was moved to locations twice. Trucks were unavailable, the website was incredibly hard to navigate and slow to respond no matter what We did, we sat on hold for customer service nearly an hour to get the help we needed. It took three hours of running around to finally get a truck to where we needed it. We will not be recommending uhaul to anyone.

Long time returning customer and im not pointing fingers or placing blame because bn pf the circumstance if events in my life i was on final warning from the manager because i accidentally got locked into the unit before that my fuance was getting us breakfast while i was organizing stuff in the unit and the final time i was woke up by an officer given final warning in which case was truly not intended i had passed out and been woken several times trying to get my fiance a ride to her parents so I could organize our stuff in the unit which never happened the last time i left my job two days before the incident and wanted to clean out or organize our stuff because im still homeless and was not living in unit or trying to use much if any electricity and also keep the unit clean and in good condition i heard the cart guy go around several times and instead of talk to me to understand that mornings dituation i heard 98 and opened the door to what i knew would be another cop because i made it obvious what I was doing he just couldnt talk to me and i know the law but still i moved my stuff to another facility out of allegan which is for the best i suppose. Still they said there would.be a lock on the door in twenty four hours so i moved most my stuff not really positive and left a kess i wouldnt mind cleaning up for staff but either way 269 251 6340 is my personal number i reviewed this company highly in the past but people never seem to understand things happen people arent living in storage units there inbetween places and making sure one thing is one or another oh well.

They really acted like they did not want to accept the return. In fact, they told us we had to take it to Plainwell even though the contract said Allegan. They told us there would be a charge to drop it here instead. When we asked how much, they couldn't tell us. After the closed everything out, they acted surprised & said there wasn't a return charge.

Our trailer we had the chains and straps snapped causing our car to dismount and causing expensive damage. I tried to report this and was treated like they didn't even care. I now can't afford to fix my car

The drop off location was fine, the process was Not. The web site was confusing and at times unresponsive. It was after hours and there was no one to assist. After struggling for more than 30 min, we made a phone call and got help.

My only (and very big) complaint is that I made a reservation 10 days in advance for a trailer with ramp for pick up and drop off at Allegan location. U-haul switched it to Wayland! In order for me to drop off in Allegan (where I live) I was charged one way extra fee! That was very wrong. I should not have had my reservation changed nor had to pay close to double! Poor customer service by whomever at U-haul who handled this.

we had to put extra gas in to make sure we were not hit hard financially with your gas charges My issue with this is understanding how one is supposed to know how much gas is left in the vehicle

The new return process is garbage. You should pay me for all the work you made me do, compared to a week ago when I just had to drop it off. Probably won't use Uhaul again because of it.
