hildy F.I drove 2250 miles. I should have been given a truck with cruise control. my truck did not have that. I have rented trucks from uhaul before and always had one with cruise. the proprietor told me it had cruise but I believe he knew it didnt.

Michael B.GREAT experience, quick and easy. This comment DOES NOT pertain to Allen's Gulf. I feel U-Haul should simply require all gas tanks be full at time return so the next customer picks it up full. It just makes it an easier customer experience to not have to guess how much is necessary to refill the tank to the amount in it at time of rental. Why not just rent full and return full? Its annoying to play the guessing game, especially when gas prices are as expensive as they are.

Tyler H.When I got there, they actually had "lost our reservation" and I had to go to a different dealership 20 minutes away to get a Uhaul truck after standing in line there for an hour to be told to do so. Unacceptable.

Jeffery G.The trailer was full of debris, plus moving blankets and a dolly when we opened it to load it up. Thus we had to remove all of this stuff to pack the trailer at all. We had to dispose of the debris also. It is fortunate for uhaul that the space taken up by the dolly and blankets didn't conflict with the amount of space that we needed for the items we were moving, so we kept them in the trailer and returned them with it to the dropoff location.

Kenneth H.For the 2nd year in a row we have had terrible service with uhaul. About 30 min prior to us picking up the truck, we received a call saying they didn't have a truck for us. We were told the closest location was going to be an hour drive away and 35 miles 1 way. The only compensation that was going to be done was comping us 10 miles. Apparently uhaul thinks it's okay to tell it's customers to drive 2+ hours and drive over 80 miles to pick up a truck that had been reserved for at least a month in advance. Then they even have the audacity to charge us for going an extra 8 miles, which clearly was not computed properly for the driving distances between pickup to drop off. We will NEVER use uhaul again for any services and will NEVER suggest them to anyone.

Parker A.Our reservation online was made for burnouts. On the reservation it shown that until you clicked into details then it shown this location. Apparently that's because burnouts didn't have the size truck we needed and uhaul auto changed it. This delayed us an hour getting our truck as we went to the other location. Then we ended up wasting an hour with our movers as there was no truck for them to load. This costed us an additional 2 hours of moving time as it took the movers an hour and a half longer than reserved since the truck wasn't a there upon arrival

George J.I tried calling the 800 number waited and the phone started to ring and silence. Why are you charging the wrong credit card for the delivery. On the phone you have start a chat online the only thing I see online is a feedback forms. Just wasting my time trying to fix a issue.

Victoria C.It's a combination U-Haul, gas station location. The staff were very friendly and easy to work with. I received a call the day before that my 20' truck was unavailable so they gave me a 26' which was more than adequate and more difficult to maneuver. But I give 5 stars to the staff!
PATRICK C.Fast and easy check in. Truck was gassed up and ready to go. Truck ran well, no issues. When I returned the truck, I pulled up to the had pump and before I was done pumping gas I was checked in and just walked up to get my receipt. They even backed the truck into the space. Between check out and return I think I took a total of 5 minutes. Great service. Would definitely rent from Allen's again.
