I reserved a 26 ft truck in Redmond Oregon. They called me 2 days before my reservation and said they could only provide us a 20 ft truck in Bend Oregon. Now I have to make a second trip.

The trailer rental and return was quick and easy at this location. I had reserved a trailer at the Uhaul location on the north end of Bend for a Sunday pick up but the line was so long and slow that I gave up. Really glad I went to SE 2nd Street location on Monday. It was actually much more convenient for me and they were efficient and helpful. I will use this location in the future.

Parking is too small. And with the covid-19 situation having to knock and wait for someone is nuts. Then when I came back for the truck there was another one parked in front of it. Thank goodness the guy was still there, but it said closed we knocked and he finally answered..

UHaul location is fine. Don't use the "MovingHelp.com" people. They were 1.5 hours late for a 2-hour job without calling or texting! I want my money back!

The man who works here was extremely rude. Three times he snapped at me when I encountered him. The woman was pleasant and professional and apologized for the behavior of the male employee. I had completed on line registration 48 hours before my 8 am pick up, It was nearly 10 am before I was able to drive my rental, largely due to the male employee misplacing the keys and not answering his phone when the female employee attempted to find him. The self check out, (after hours), was cumbersome and stressful. I was forced to attend to taking many photos in an unsafe part of town late at night. I Will try to find another alternative to U-haul. I have been happy before this, but this experience was extremely difficult to deal with.

The smartphone check in system was a disaster. Supposedly a fast way to get the vehicle it was instead incredibly slow. The ID verification was ridiculous. There was no advance warning of extra documents requested at store checking, requiring me to have U-Haul call my friends for verification. That was an unexpected, unappreciated, and, frankly, poorly executed process. I lost half an hour of my paid-for rental time due to this unnecessary and abusive process. No refund was offered. This is not the first time I've experienced problems with U-Haul checkin.

Person who ran out was very unhelpful and rude for no reason at all. Used this location a couple times but always after hours so didn't interact with anyone. There's no parking for larger trucks either.

The people there are very nice, my issues were not with this location except the truck was not cleaned properly when I got it. I have pictures. I found garbage from the previous renter under the passenger seat, there were food crumbs all over and it was very dusty. Now I know things get dusty but I also know that there are very few of these trucks around and they are rented out constantly so there is no reason that the truck should have been that dusty if it had been cleaned properly. Now when I brought the truck back i was running a little late and did not have time to fully clean the truck myself so I was charged a $25 cleaning fee which is fine, but considering the way it was when I got the truck, I hope that whoever got the truck after me got a clean truck since I paid the fee to have it cleaned. Also with the virus stuff it should never have looked that way when I got it. In my opinion the sanitary protocols that are suppose to be in place by businesses espe So with that said if I come up positive for the virus within 2 weeks you will be hearing from me again.

The customer service was subpar. We checked in online including uploading photos of the driver license and the staff still took DL and took a long time to check us in when we got there. At return, two staff members were extremely rude - one because his shift was over and he was on his way out. The other seemed terrified to interact with people due to the pandemic and was short and panicked when trying to check out. Would not use this location again.

The only negative I have is when returning truck, we also rented a storage unit at Allied storage where truck was rented, that same morning for overflow furniture. The floor was filthy with dirt inside, and door is broken as it did not close properly, resulting in my having to walk from far end of facility back to office for assistance. Then waited for service tenant to come back to unit to help which took longer than acceptable, wasting a lot of my time. Other property manager on site failed to disclose door was malfunctioning and off track when originally opening unit door for us to unload our items. This resulted in extra wasted time and they had the nerve to charge us another day of usage on everything rented - truck, dolly, blankets, which was wrong and unacceptable due to the major inconvenience experienced with management and our day planned.

The left turn signal did not work and the person who hooked me up said he knew nothing about lighting and made no effort to resolve the problem. Blamed the malfunction on my truck, however the truck's lighing system performed perfectly. Other than that it was a good experience.

The pickup truck was not clean inside like a usual rental vehicle is (floor mats quite dirty, dusty, etc.) but this was my first time renting a pickup from U-Haul, so maybe that's normal. I wouldn't say it was dirty, but obviously had not been cleaned thoroughly. Didn't effect my use though.

The vehicle was very clean and ran well and I was very happy with it. However, I was told that the tank was full and that I would have to return it full, but it was at exactly 3/4 tank. I did return it full, despite the line having barely moved below the 3/4 mark, and that cost me $21. I took a photo of the gauge and time for proof. Then, I calculated the mileage I drove while I had the vehicle for 24 hours, which was around town running to local places, and it was around 38 miles, but I was charged for 65. Unfortunately, I did not think to document the odometer with photos beforehand because I did not expect to experience this discrepancy. I am very unhappy with these false charges. I would be happy to pay for the 38 miles, but on top of having to pay for the gas that I didn't use? Not a happy customer.
