ROBERT WOur complaints are not with the individual pick up / drop off locations, but with U-Haul IT and Customer Service. The online account and app have my email address and phone number linked to someone else's account. I have had multiple calls to Customer service requesting that they unlink my data from the other profile. Although they claim that the unlink was successful, it was not. Therefore, when I was charged for extra miles we did not drive and that were not calculated by the scheduler, I was told there was no way to contest them because I did not use the app. There is no way I can use the app because it is linked to someone else's account that does not show my current trip and there is no way for me to gain access to my current trip. Not impressive!

There was zero customer service, he gave the bare minimum of the necessary information without a hint of friendliness. It felt like he was doing us a huge favor, whereas we paid for the service. The truck felt like it might break down at any moment. The cab was filthy.

Ruby CI reserved a 21 Dr truck but was given smaller 15ft truck so had to keep another day as it was too small to load everything. The truck was almost out of gas and barely running. It lurcked and acted like it would barely run, transmission sounded terrible as well. Terrible equipment.
Nancy BUhual has underperformed and under delivered on a massive scale. I was a big fan of Uhual until a couple of days ago. We confirmed a 26ft. truck for the day of our move, and on the day of pick up, we received a call from Uhual saying they only had a 10ft. truck for us. The Uhual representative was immediately combative, until she realized she was wrong, then apologized, but offered no recourse. The Uhual organization over-booked a 26ft. truck, then without admitting fault, offered a less than sub standard solution without so much as a "we're sorry "

Randi BThe young man at the counter was unfriendly and unhelpful. He wouldn't even walk out to the truck for the customer ahead of me who had questions. He referred everything to the emails and texts we received. Apart from taking payment, giving out keys to trucks, and scanning the drivers license, he appeared to not be able to do anything else.

Brett RI tried to rent from another location 10 miles closer to where I wanted to go to. However Carbondale didn't rent 26 ft trucks. So the Uhaul lady said they would credit me 20 miles. So. I said ok. When I went to check out at Glenwood today as I returned the truck, Ryder said he couldn't credit me. Additional when I went to pick up the truck UHaul's computer was down for 40 minutes past the time I indicated that I wanted to pick up the truck. So all my help had to want at least 40 minutes before we could start the move. 2 major glitches from Uhaul. I wish corporate office would call me.

Glenda MThe location was pretty much the only choice I had in that area, but staff was friendly. The Hollywood drop off locatin is such a great Uhaul center that it sets the bar pretty high for all others to follow.

Shout out to the locals who actually care! No credit to Uhaul for that! That's ALL YOU as local peeps! Thank you, locals, for being so great! Uhaul should give you a raise!

Nancy PThe customer service was great. I was immediately greeted by a customer representative and they quickly found my trailer reservation, got the paperwork completed, and hooked up the trailer. The parking lot was very small and was packed with vehicles and trailers. It was hard to maneuver with the trailer hooked up. The customer rep helped a lot by guiding me through to the exit and making sure I wasn't going to hit anything.
Scott GEquipment was clean, but we were charged for 2 days (Saturday - Monday morning), despite returning the truck Saturday at 5:00 pm. We’re attempting to get the overcharge removed, but that is not a quick process, and 26 hours after notifying U-Haul of the overcharge, the overcharge has not been reversed or confirmed.

eric sThis company needs to work on a lot of things, starting first and foremost with proper procedures and customer service. This has been my worst experience with U-Haul to date, and that is truly saying something. I arrived at the location in Glenwood springs, 30 minutes in the opposite direction of where I needed to use this truck. Despite there being 4 10-foot trucks as I had requested, I was directed through the app to pick up a 15-foot truck. I encountered an error message, telling me to call live verification even though I had used 24/7 pickup in the past with no issue. I waited on hold for over 15 minutes, and the agent I eventually got to was unwilling to wait with me until I had completed the registration process. I received my lock box code, and went to retrieve my keys. MUCH TO MY DISPLEASURE, THE CODE WAS ALREADY USED AND THE KEYS WERE MISSING I was approached by a man ALSO having issues with his pickup, and it turns out SOME OTHER CSA HAD GIVEN HIM THE CODE TO MY LOCK BOX, AND THE TRUCK I WAS ASSIGNED WAS ALREADY RUNNING. The app skipped the whole process of verifying mileage and condition of the truck, and so I was on the hook for any and all damage/missing gas. To summarize: -24/7 pickup was a miserable failure -CSA with live verification did not wish to assist me until my request was completed -another customer had already collected my keys AND STARTED UP MY VEHICLE -I was unable to verify fuel level, starting mileage, and condition of the truck before pickup. This plethora of issues needs to be addressed immediately, and I demand follow-up and compensation for such an incompetently delivered service. I should not have to pay for such a terrible experience.
