Uhaul sucks. It is so hard to talk to anyone. I tried to adjust my reservation and I was passed to 4 different people! No one wanted to help, everyone wanted to get rid of me as fast as possible even though my issue was pretty simple. I hope I never rent from Uhaul again, ever.

The old white-haired guy, who is also a tow truck driver for Cats, comes across as being put out about assisting with the Uhaul aspect of the business. Also the lot is crowded with parked cars making it difficult to maneuver through.

Don treated me very well. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Trailer was well maintained and functioned perfectly on drive from Colorado to Montana. I would have preferred to pickup closer to my home (30 mile drive) but that wasn't Don's fault.

I reserved a truck to move my home a month in advance because it was a big move for my family from one side of the state to another. Unfortunately, there was a shortage in equipment for Uhaul in Colorado, so they did not have what we needed. I was told this the day before our move. Which made us scramble and panic on finding another option last minute. In my mind, calling the customer the day before with this issue is not okay. This issue should have been presented to me closer to the reservation date, if Uhaul new that there has been this shortage of equipment. This was upsetting and the guy working at this location had no sympathy and/or understanding. His customer service was very poor.

The parking lot at this location was hectic and confusing, especially if you’ve never been there before. I needed up parking to a business next to the pick up location because I was unsure where to go. More information about how to navigate the parking lot would’ve been help. I ended up having to move my car, which wasn’t horrible but was inconvenient.

The office is dirty and not very welcoming, unfortunately Budget Truck Rental left the area last year and this location is our only option in town. The staff is not friendly at all and seemed annoyed when customers (myself and others) had any questions. Don helped me when I picked the truck up and blasted through the paperwork, "sign here and here and here...." The gas gauge was measured out at 4/16, or some ridiculous amount, so I added a couple gallons of gas to cover the 18 miles I drove. I was then charged $17.00 for gas on my bill. I went back to the office after I got the bill to inquire about the charge and again talked with Don. He basically said too bad, that's what the gas gauge reads. Ultimately I ended up needing to transport more belongings two days later and this U-Haul location left such a bad taste in my mouth, that I rented a Suburban from Enterprise instead.

Improve functionality of the mobile app. The concept is great—get the truck on your terms even if the location is closed. Only problem is you have to sit there and take multiple pictures of your license while you wait for the representative on the other line to continue to ask for pictures. The app is useless when not on WiFi, yet all the information has to be entered when you’re physically at the pick up location. Why can’t I do this ahead of time and get “approved” before I’m waiting around for an agent to figure it out. Not to mention the antagonizing responses when I inquired as to why they needed not one, not two, but THREE phone numbers to reach us at. There’s just two of us doing the moving. Did you stop to think that maybe we don’t have a third contact for you? Then he has the nerve to tell me, “you’re not helping yourself here.” Bro, stick to the issue at hand. I would have been in so much trouble if I sat there on mobile chat arguing with a customer about their attitude. Just help me and move on. You don’t have to make nonsense arguments. I’ve already driven 30 mins out of my way because the location I chose didn’t have the truck I rented and now I’m sitting in an auto shop parking lot with no WiFi watching my phone die while I wait for (he who I won’t name) to ask me for YET ANOTHER picture of my license. Get it together.

We just dropped off the truck and trailer with the drop box so we didn’t go inside. I’d also like to leave a comment about UHaul’s customer service overall. I spent 3-4 hours on the phone and online chat with customer service for two things that in my opinion should have taken less than 10 minutes. I needed to change the drop off date of our truck, which I did over the phone but I was rerouted multiple time, got dropped from the call twice, and overall it took over an hour with just the first call. I was then informed the next day that the change hadn’t been made in the system so I had to go through the entire process again. The other issue was that I needed my name to be left on the contract and needed one receipt with all of our expenses because my work was reimbursing us for our moving expenses. However, after asking 3 different customer service representatives for this, all made excuses for why this wasn’t possible even though I made the reservation, paid for the service, and signed the contract, only because I didn’t drive the truck (which was because I had to drive our other vehicle). Either the customer service was poor or the system is very flawed it’s not possible to add two names to a contract even if there is a need to note who the driver is. I’m very dissatisfied with the overall service and given how expensive everything was already, I will not recommend or use uhaul again unless this is resolved for me.

When I walked into the store, the agent was reasonably nice; but after looking at my contract he really unloaded on me, i.e, told me off, after he looked at my contract. He said he wasn't making any money on this; I explained that I had been given an extra day or so because of the GREAT inconvenience, time, and gas to pick up in Glenwood Springs instead of my scheduled location of Avon. I just stood there and took his abuse (he kept rambling on about it), not really knowing what else to do. He said that trip should have cost me $400 and that on top of his only making $6 he had to hook my car up to the trailer. I don't think I've ever encountered someone this rude, and it was extremely upsetting and stressful. It was a extremely poor experience to say the least.

Bad experience with uhaul. Booked me for a time after they had closed. After getting a little shitty with the owner of this company holding the uhaul trucks ( I had just drove 3 hours solely to get this trailer and get my stuff and go back) and thretening a bad review he sent someone over after hours to take care of me. Professional work, got me taken care of and got my stuff home. NOT IMPRESSED WITH UHAUL OR THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I made a reservation for a 17 ft truck in Carbondale and was reassigned a 15 ft truck in Glenwood springs. When i arrived the older man who obviously runs the place is who i spoke to. And if he wasnt the most ill mannered and unhelpful person that i have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I feel bad for the other guys who have to work in that shop. It must be a long day to deal with that man. And i only had to do it for 10 mins! Regardless of poor customer service, i am now with an extra 60 miles to go get the truck from Glenwood and return it. I tried calling uhaul for the reimbursement guarantee and have yet to speak to a human being. This company is failing and ill be going with another truck rental from now on. Its sad.

I got relocated to a different facility then where I had made my reservation, so that cost me an extra $50 in mileage. The pickup/drop-off location was also not in a great place for GPS and connectivity, meaning using the APP for the drop-off was a terrible experience

The representative on duty was very rude. I rented a truck with a dolly. I asked him about the dolly, and he confirmed that I had one. When I got to the destination, the dolly was not in the truck. When returning the truck, I told him about this; he said that I should have grabbed one on my way out - why did he not tell me when I was picking up>

The trailer I rented shook violently.. I had could not travel over 50 mph. Even at 50mph it still shook. I had to travel 1400 miles. It took 3 days and gas to stay an extra night at the hotel..i called cust service today and she said she has nothig to do with maintenance. So sad.

I was told that I could have my mover pick up the truck by reservations. I submitted this to them with full name, license and SR21 insurance. I planned for this and told the mover to pick up the truck. After the mover tried to get the truck he was told he could not. He contacted me and again was told that it was ok. Again the driver could not pick up the truck. Now very frustrated I contacted customer service and ask to speak to the manager and reached Todd. Todd was not much help as he said that he would have to listen to the recorded conversations of the calls. This was a very frustrating experience which has not been resolved. I wasted a least 2 hours on my travel day and I am requesting some sort of a discount for this inconvenience.

I had used your early check-in service, but the local representative (who was polite, professional and very competent) had to enter my information into the system while I waited. Clearly, the early check in system has problems. Despite that slight drawback, my experience was excellent.
