U-Haul corporate told me that I would have to go to Richmond to both get and return a truck to keep for my requested duration. The staff at the store had no problem with me keeping the truck for the original requested duration. The store was great, but the experience with the corporate entity was very frustrating.

Tynisha G.I have used this location multiple times. I preorder online, and everything is ready when you arrive. The staff is friendly and helps you hook everything up. Their storage lot is easily accessible.
Louis B.The vehicle was great. Clean and functioned perfectly. The only drawback to the location is that you have to go around back to a secluded spot behind the strip mall to pick up keys. This does not feel very safe. In the future we will probably try to pick up during business hours or will select a different location.

THOMAS S.My experience with U-haul began horribly. I had no idea that a one-way rental had limitations. I received a call & text the day before my move that my truck would be ready one state over-North Carolina. I could not go to NC. I started exploring other options, and when I was extremely upset, I took a chance and called the location near my house- Rosement Rd, Va Beach. I was literally saved by Chantel Hughes. She explained the reasoning behind the U-Haul one way limitations. I told her that I hadn't moved in 24 years, and I wouldn't; have chosen that option if I would have known. She offered to try to help me. She saved my move by finding me a truck (after I was told there was nothing nearby). When I was overcharged, she jumped in again to help me. This human being exemplifies EXCELLENT customer service. We need more people like her who understand customer service. The truck we picked up at Green Run VB was not in great working order. The "check engine" light was on the entire trip and there was no washer fluid. It was raining. Please recognize Chantel Hughes for her outstanding customer service.

Alphonso P.I had the pleasure of speaking w/Vanessa @ the Lynnhaven Prkway location & also Nikia @ the Green Run Sqr., location. Vanessa sent me to Nikia during to she was out of the U-Haul Rentals. I thought I would need a 15 ft truck but Vanessa stated that for what I was picking up (living room set) that a 10 ft truck should work out fine! I went over to the Green Run Sqr., location & Nikia showed me the 10 ft truck & the 15 ft truck, she also stated that: "the 10 ft should be fine but it was my decision." I am glad I took their advice bc the furniture was snug to the point that it did not shift during the transport. Both ladies were not only right they saved me money also! My first time renting a U-Haul was very good. I highly recommend either of these two (2) locations!!

Kimberly G.No one was there to help me pick up the trailer. Noticed the trailer hitch isn't locked so I thought I just pick it up and go. I had already paid 2500 dollars for the truck, how can the trailer not be included in that price. After about two hours into my move this location called me and tried to have my drive back to their store. This engine uhaul experience has been terrible.

RONALDDAVID S.Antonios is very unresponsive to phone calls and not very professional. They are just a 3rd person location to rent the truck. nothing more. The truck broke down and I called Uhaul roadside assistance and it took 10hrs just to get a mechanic to come out and say it was unfixable. NOW....I am being charged $360 for a move that I drove the truck 23miles and used the truck for less then 2hrs. The Field Manager Paul Parten of UHaul has incorrect information and is unreasonable. I shall be escalating as his facts are incorrect ****My advice to anyone using a UHAUL truck....if it is over 100k miles request a different truck or go to PENSKE. Going the cheap route with Uhaul has it's downside when it should be the easier of the 2 for a one day move.

SEBASTIANALEXAND B.This was not the first pickup location. I had to drive an extra hour each way (from Hampton to VA Beach) to pick up this truck because the first location didn't contact me that it was not returned the previous day on time. Poor job by that location or the main coordinating group.
KENNETHWILLIAM V.I had trouble entering the mileage on the return link. I waited on hold for 30 minutes before someone was able to help me. I had already dropped the keys in the box by the time someone picked up and wasn't able to take inside pictures. It was a little frustrating but overall good.

Tiquan M.We rented a 15' Uhaul to help us move during the rain. We were only moving about 1 mile from where were so didn't plan to use many miles (aside from the 7 miles from the pickup location). The Uhaul leaked water through the top of the overhead storage area. This made us move quick in between and to not store anything in the front half, causing us to make multiple trips and subsequently renting for an extra day. The truck also seemed like it was going to break down at any moment, and the steering was extremely loose to the point it was difficult to keep straight, even at 15 mph. When I called the store they were not in the slightest concerned. We returned the truck after hours and opted to move the rest with our pickup before things got worse. I called the location when they opened and explained my concerns and got an "oh ok".

I would never recommend them going to that site. This is not the green run site in Va beach, its the Princess ANNe site that I originally had scheduled. I had to call UHAUL to get a new location due to it being closed on a tuesday with no notification.
