This was the 3rd location that changed to for my reservation. It was supposed to have everything I reserved. But it still did not, two big stuffs (hand truck and furniture dolly) for moving were still not available! We came to the store around 9:30am flying over from other state. The official store open time was at 10am, but 3 store employees including the manager were already in the store. We talked to them many times to ask them to start the paper work since we were going to move to another state and there were lots of tasks need to do. The rental office in another state would close early and not open on Saturday and Sunday. We even begged them but they still ignored us and locked the door. They were extremely not friendly at all. We only got the truck and tow dolly around 10:20am. Time was totally wasted there. What a bad experience in this U-Haul store!!! By the way, the gas on the truck was not fully full. I filled the gas all the way to 100 % full when I returned. Also there was a hole very obvious on the windshield, but the store didn't tell us when we got the truck! Today 8/14, a lady from U-Haul called me. I told her this terrible experience. She said she was going to call the store manager but hanged up the phone on me. What is wrong with U-Haul now???Jiande W.

The pickup location was changed the night before pick up from a location 1 mile from my house to a location 12 miles away. It was very frustrating when they did not open as early as my original location and the late opening was not mentioned in my verification email. I was forced to delay my departure due to the change in pick up location. This was a UHaul problem, not the Arrow Pawn & Jewelry.David G.

Computer wasn't working.. We were told from pick-up in NC (Garner) that we could drop off at our c U-Haul the closest where we live in Melrose, Fl. When we lived in in Green Cove the closest was on Blanding . Called Interlachen & they said no problem. Find out UHaul gouged us seniors for $75+tax for wrong drop off????? We were told closest dealer 20 min away, so why take it over an hour away especially when it was okayed.WAYNE M.

The address to drop off at 731 US Hwy 70 W Garner, NC 27529 needs to be updated. When you type in the address to your gps device it takes you to no man's land. There is nothing but woods. After waiting on hold and finally getting a hold of the drop off place, they were tucked in on the other side of the highway. It caused me and extra 30 minutes to figure out where to drop off the truck.Jarvis S.

Person attending the uhaul location was not helpful and told us he had to leave when we arrived. This was at 1:15 pm and we were told by uhaul that the hours there were 1pm to 5pm. Another customer was told there was no more room to put his returning vehicle within the gates.Kenneth M.
I scheduled to pick my Uhaul early in the morning weeks in advanced. I had friends, family, and professional movers ready to go at 8 am at my house. I got a call about 15 hours before that no Uhaul would be available until 10 am. I was scrambling to change plans and push everything back. Next morning I arrive at 9:45 to pick it up. No Uhaul in sight. We were told there was a scheduling error with no idea if we could even get a truck that day. I sat on hold with Uhaul customer service for over an hour before I hung up when the truck pulled in the parking lot at 11:30. All of our friends, family, and professional movers had been waiting at our house during this time. I was crying and having a mental breakdown. The man at the pawn shop was exceptional and very transparent the whole time. This was NOT his fault- it was directly on Uhaul scheduling. I will absolutely never use Uhaul again.Sarah O.
We received horrible service from U-Haul. This is the second time we have requested a truck well in advance, and the truck was not available. On Friday afternoon, we went to pick up a non-existent truck. We then had call four different times to have someone actually try to help us. Then, we could only get a 10 foot instead of a 15 foot truck and had to drive 30 miles out of our way in Friday rush-hour traffic to pick up the truck. Having to do all of that put us three hours behind on our moving plan. We will never use U-Haul again.Peter M.
Everything was horrible the truck was leaking oil, jumping while driving, and was not that clean in inside. Also the latch couldnt lock the uhaul so i had to leave my uhaul open over night.Chassity D.

This place was friendly but weren't very familiar with doing a rental. The main uhaul facility was only a mile up the road so I could not understand why I had to pick up my truck at a pawn shop.Robert K.

The Uhaul portion of this business was not well marked. There was not much room to park and nobody available to helpCYNTHIA H.
The drop off was taking too long. He was moving the truck several times and had to retake pictures. I was waiting patiently and was not told that he was finished untill I asked. I could have been on my way and he could have done most of the tasks after I had checked in.wayne S.

The appliance dolly was not in the back, no phone call or notification to announce could not accommodate. The truck was newer and was in great driving condition!!! The only problem was it was parked front facing into a dark back alley, and it took a bit to maneuver out.corey E.
It would be nice if uhaul makes it clear if you're picking up a truck from a "self service" location. I was born last century and assumed there would be a human to give money to in exchange for keys to a truck. Many thanks to the rep on the phone who had saintly patience talking me through the process of using my phone to get the keys.Perry H.
Truck was difficult to get out of parking lot due to being parked in the back of the lot with cars parked around it from business beside it. I had to wait in the truck for almost 1/2 hour after getting the truck because I could not get through due to limited space for passing on the drive out of the lot. I called uhaul three times following pickup as I wanted to verify if I could drop off at a different location, free of charge due to these issues and after pressing â€œ3â€, half an hour passes without an answer. Once I returned the truck, the app would log me out every time I submitted a picture and would make me start over. Tried the app on my bfs phone and ended up with similar problem, but despite location services being enabled, wouldn't track our location to return the truck. Finally got a hold of someone at uhaul after almost an hour of trying to return the truck at drop off location and she was extremely helpful. I have rented uhaul many times in the past and will not be doing so again with the app. Wasn't worth the aggravation.Natalie W.

I went to a storage facility and they told me to schedule the rental on the app, so I scheduled the rental over the app. The app is terrible, it doesn't work right, I couldn't change the location of the drop off, add a dolly to the rental, etc. I called the U-haul 1-800 number and waited on hold for 20 mins so I drove back to the storage facility and they gave me the number for the U-haul regional manager Eric Petit (first name may have been Mike) He was the rudest person I have ever spoken to on the phone, was not helpful, and acted like I was I bothering him by calling him. Anyway, he told me he would reschedule the rental, add the dolly to the rental, and call me back once he had done so. I never heard back from him, never got the rental rescheduled, and never got the dolly. So while the location I picked up the truck and returned it was fine, and the truck was clean. I will not be using U-haul for my next move simply over the negative experience I had with Mr. Petit. I will pay the extra money to Ryder or Enterprise to not have to deal with the headaches or the rudeness.matt W.

The only issue I ran into was trying to perform the mobile pickup at 12pm. I converted my order to the mobile but when I arrived and attempted to pick it up, the online site kept looping between pick up your truck and my only option was to â€œLearn Moreâ€. The UHAUL person was not there until 2PM, it wasn't a huge deal but a little frustrating. The UHAUL person ended up converting back to the traditional because the mobile pickup was not working.Michael V.

I would say it would be great if the rental process could be faster, but renting a very expensive vehicle to a stranger is quite a big deal. I'm sure a person's driving record and credit card need to be carefully approved.JOHN W.

The customer service my daughter received at this location was horrible. I booked the Uhaul rental through the 800 number. When my son in law went to pick it up, he was told he could not. Everything I was told while placing the order, my son in law was told was wrong and would not work. When I spoke with the lady at the location on the phone, she was rude and condescending. It was not a pleasant experience.Dawn M.

I would have rated this below average except for the people who tried to help me. I had an above average length of time to check out despite doing all the pre checks on line prior to attempting to pick up the trailer. Seems very little of the information I was asked to pre enter was passed on to the rental agency. The there was confusion with the paper flow process by the first person who tried to help me. Angela was very apologetic at the end for all our issues. You need to provide better process training and make things user friendly for agencies who do U Haul rentals as a secondary business. I also want to compliment Jordan Murray from the Mechanical Blvd store in Garner, NC. He stepped in to offer the agency some processes help when my needs for the trailer changed within an hour of the rental. He is a very good U Haul representative..Tom K.

The truck needs work to the transmission and/or motor. It had shifting issues and ran really rough. I would not have been comfortable driving it more than a short distance.Kellie B.
