Jennifer DThe store owner warned me that the cell signal for mobile check in was not very good at the location. He told me to go next door to the McDonalds to use their wifi. Neither worked, so I had to call customer service and this delayed my pick-up by almost an hour. I think it is pretty ridiculous that the operator of this UHaul location doesnt have their own wifi so that these problems could be averted.

Nicole RThe uhaul truck was available in a timely manner. There was an issue with closing the door, a part in the door assembly fell off and was unable to close the door, needed to use a nylon rope to keep it closed. Complained to the location manager and he gave me the regular credit plus an extra credit for the rental and also followed up the next day. Thanks for the excellent customer service.

Luke KApp struggled to load and would freeze causing me to have to start paperwork over multiple times. Cell signal in area is spotty so hard to utilize app. Process flow has me going between truck and key box which weren't close. Order of operations should be reviewed.
Kyle JThe location was closed and there was no parking spot available. I had to wait for 10-15 minutes for a customer of the self storage to show up and opened the gate to the self storage lot and I was able to take the truck in that parking lot for dropping off and then wait for someone to open the gates to come out off their parking lot. Very very inconvenient and frustrating experience. I was earlier supposed to drop off at a different location and I was told that location does not have a spot for me to drop off and instead I need to go this other lot which was further away for me and when I got there, there was no space outside to drop off the truck. If no one had showed up for self storage access, I would have been stuck there.

Tammy DMy son left his wallet in the uhaul van by mistake. I called the manager and left a VM after hours. He called me right back, and opened the uhaul van so we could retrieve his wallet. Great service from Ashland Uhaul on Nickerson RD!!!! I give him a 10!!!

Brian ELocation & gentleman staffing the location were very good. However, the 10 foot truck (TM 3396F) I was given was totally unacceptable. It had in excess of 121 000 miles of wear & tear and required (as instructed by the rental agent) forcefully turning the steering wheel aggressively while turning the ignition in order to start the truck. And even with this ridiculous effort, it still took at least 4 tries to start the truck each time I needed to start it. The vehicle should be taken out of circulation. Paying customers should not be given such terribly flawed vehicle & I will be requesting a refund.

DARRAH GThe mobile pick up/return process is an absolute nightmare. Pages refreshed so many times and/or didn't load causing me to have to sign in again. When bringing the truck back, I gave up on the process when I had been trying to submit the picture of the odometer at least 10 times. Took pictures of the truck in case needed, dropped the keys in the mailbox, and called it a day.

Jeffrey MThe online return is vague and frustrating. The instructions need to be specific about the photos. I took the photos, locked the van, and put the keys in the drop box. The self return app will not take photos from memory. Then I spent 30 more minutes on hold for a representative, however once I connected, she was AWESOME.
