We had a one way rental so picked this site because it was close to our home. It was easy to find. When we picked up the truck there was no one site to help (just via phone), so I went through the same app to drop off, not realizing the hardware store staff could help. The staff took care of the return in minutes, I should had gone there first and not wasted my time with the app (photos were still uploading!).
Kristin Corapithe back up camera and dashboard screen was smashed and therefor not working, the passenger seat belt alarm/sensor was working correctly and "rang" the entire 250 miles.
David BurnettThe back up camera had been smashed - I told the attendant and he said yea I know, there was nothing he could do about it. Once I left and picked up a helper the seatbelt icon flashed and beeped the entire 5 hours I was driving. We both had our seatbelts fastened, obviously a malfunction on the passenger side. I would appreciate a discount for the stress caused by the incessant beeping.

The location was great, in fact they were able to finalize the process when your &$*&% app didn't work, as usual. Basically it was everything you would expect from uHaul. 45 minutes to do something that should have taken 5. Plus the 30 minutes to read all the threats of how they're going to charge you a fee for this and that. Thank you for "choosing" uhaul, like anyone has a choice.

Lovelle SeymoreOver all it was a good experience. I do have questions regarding two charges that I wasn't expecting. I did have the truck overnight but used it for less then 24 hours but got charged the rental rate times two. I only drove the truck for 16 miles and got charged for 4 gallons which is pretty poor gas mileage at 4 miles per gallon. The fuel gage hardly moved if at all. Minor stuff but questionable.

Alicia ColleyThere was a tire sensor warning saying the tire was low even after the slow leaking tire was replaced, that Uhaul has yet to fix, according to the store employee. The tire seemed OK thankfully. Good guys there.

I had a contract to return here and when I arrived U-HAUL Cotporate informed me I was going to have to return to another location 30 minutes away because this location had too many trucks. I explained I do not work For U-haul. The Stow location stepped in a confirmed they were happy to accept the vehicle. I am a fairly frequent user and the two locations provide excellent service, but my experience with U-HAUL corporate makes me think twice about using these services in future. Marsha Beatrice, Esq.

HOWARD LEETire light was on. Renter did not check for damage, or milage, or gas level upon return while I was there, which makes me concerned that I might be hit with charges later. All went well. Would rent again.

William LoehfelmThere was damage on the van that I had to point out to someone prior to driving off with it. Also the photos of the van used on your website were incorrect. I had no issues with the location, but your website could be streamlined to make the process quicker. It was lagging quite a bit and I feel you could put many of the up sale options on one page instead of barraging the customer with options they do need.

WILLIAM ALLENI used the on-line pickup and drop off. The App crashed 4 times after I had taken the photos and the whole process took about 20 mins to pick up and over 30 mins to drop off. Really, really frustrating. The truck was ok - old and the interior was not very clean. The windshield jets did not work, and screen was dirty. I have always been happy with U haul but disappointed this time.

PETER KARBDriver Seat Could Not move. Back, because it hit wall behind it. my keens were pinned at the bottom of the dash, which it made it hard get a position on the gas pedal and break. Plus, the truck knees a step to get in.

Carmen BuenoThe truck was OK. But I ordered rental of 10 protective mats to protect our move. They did not have them when I arrived. The excuse was that the person before me didn't return them, was the explanation. There was no accommodation except for removal of the 10-dollar rental charge. So, I had to pack lighter in the van, use boxes to support the furniture so it didn't scratch, drive very slowly to avoid bumps, and make two trips as a single-trip arrangement wouldn't allow closer packing. In the end, I paid an extra 90 dollars for overtime, and returned the van after my intended 1-day move. So not very happy. Next time I will try Ryder, Enterprise, or one of the car rental companies, many of which provide vans.

Amal AlGarawiEach time I reserved online from UHAUL they never have the truck. What's the point of running a business! This time I was charged extra mile. I reserved a truck 15 minutes from my house so I can Uber there but you guys only have 1 available and that's 1hrs for me to pick up the truck and another hour to get to my first destination. My mileage should be 30 miles one way for me but I have to pick up the truck an hour away. I even reserved a dolly but none in stock too. I can't believe I was charged an extra 36mils when it was uhaul mistake that they didn't have the truck at the location I pick online . D your job right Uhaul! This is people live

lauren BradburyThe rental location and staff were great, and the van was clean. The gas tank sensor was malfunctioning, which I discovered while attempting to fill up. A kind stranger at the station helped me fill up using a portable tank. Not convenient!

An online reservation made with equipment confirmed at U-Haul Central Street in Leominster, resulted in no equipment upon arriving for pick-up. The reservation for specific equipment was ignored by staff, and the reserved equipment rented to a walk-in.
Michael KolakowskiI ordered an appliance dolly and it did not come with it. It was a easily refunded yes, but then I needed to suddenly move a washer and dryer without a dolly. Secondly, there was something wrong with the gas tank. It would only take 1 second of gas at a time before it shut off the pump. It took 15 minutes to pump 4 gallons of gas. Previous reviews online reported the same.

John MirandaWhen picking up van, it took awhile for them to figure out how to put info into the computer. But it's a newish UHaul location, so maybe that's why. Otherwise, everything was fine. The van was comfortable. There was ac. The back where we put the furniture seemed clean. No complaints.

The van wasn't checked in when we got there even though we had a 9am reservation-we weee stick waiting for thirty minutes while the van was checked in from the day before-making us late. Also-no one in the store could initially help us, we had to wait for the one person who does uhual transactions to be able to come to the desk-also adding to our time waiting. We didn't get the confirmation until after we had driven away-again, the store was rushing to check it in.

Cartrell WrightThe team at Aubuchon was great. Too bad U-Haul messed up my reservation! It was originally 4pm-10am so I could deliver furniture to a place that opened at 8:30am. When I picked up the truck, the reservation was changed to an 8am return. I called Aubuchon to ask for a 10am return and was told I would have to pay for another day rental and collision damage, so two days of charges for 16 hours. They said the U-Haul system added the charges and that Aubuchon couldn't change it. When I return the van at 9am, the manager tried to erase the extra charge but could not. My next step is to tell the credit card company to not pay any extra charges.
Chris SpearRental agent, Jessie, was terrific. Very knowledgeable and pleasant. He took good care of me. I washed the van at home and cleaned the inside windshield. Floor of the cab was dirty as well as door pockets. The gas tank was incredibly difficult to fill. Something wrong with the inlet. Could only pump gas excruciatingly slow. Otherwise the van fulfilled my needs.

SCOTT POWELLPick Up Location was great. U Haul was a disappointment. I was not notified by UHaul of the change in my reservation. My original equipment was not returned to my original pick up location. My original pick up location reached out to me before UHaul did. Thanks to them I started looking for alternate equipment. I called UHaul to change the equipment and pick up location. I was on hold for 30 minutes before getting disconnected, then another 20 minutes before speaking to an agent. At first she was going to reserve equipment forty minutes away from me. I informed her I had seen similar equipment at a location ten minutes away. She was able to reserve that for me. Overall a very disappointing experience with UHaul itself. Both Maynard Motors and Aubuchon HArdware of Stow were very helpful and great costumer service. UHaul itself, not so much.

EDMUND FROSTThe return was badly handled: the mileage was incorrect, I was charged for fuel on top of the per mile charge, I was charged for insurance which I had declined when making the reservation. This was a satellite location and U-Haul needs to better train these employees.
Robert DionneI could not pick up or return by smart phone. The Uhaul app would not work because it could not find my location. My location access was turned on so it is a problem with the Uhaul app. I took 30 minutes to pick up since I had to go into the store.

ANDREW FARNSWORTHI was quoted $130 for a 48 hour Van rental that ended up costing me over $230 even though I returned the van after only using it for only 30 hours , washed and fuel full. As a realtor, I consistently recommend vendors that are great to work with, unfortunately your company won't be one of them. Two thumbs down.
STEVEN SMITHThe van could have used a sweeping from the previous driver, it wasn't terrible but I swept it myself before putting in my stuff on the dirt left behind. Other than that, it was a great experience and I'll use them again.
