Tow dolly was missing a tail light fixture. Took a great amount of effort for Uhaul resolve and get me a new tow dolly. Multiple phone calls to Uhaul after being sent to a location that didn't even have. Very stressful as we were moving out of state the next day. I'll be asking for a partial refund.

The worst experience ever. Unqualified help at oak dale Sinclair location. No English refused to help place car on car dolly. Picking up truck at Antalope location east of Sacramento closed at 2 pm our pickup at 3pm. 3 hrs to get it PATHTIC!!!

The young man behind the desk didn't wear a mask, the truck we ordered was not even at that location nor available, a truck that was just returned, was given to us. A 32 MINUTE TURNAROUND. He told us bluntly he checked the truck and serviced it, when he did not. We did not realize that it was 32 minutes until my son mentioned it, and we brought it up with our storage facility in Oregon and the drop off location, they were able to verify the 32 min turnaround on the truck. Not to mention it was not sanitized between uses, putting me and boys at risk for COVID- 19, as well as my wife who is at a much higher risk of having a fatal outcome if she contracts the virus. Get a more professional representative behind the desk.

I reserved the rental and when arrived to pick it up there was no one available during regular business hours. Had to call a number left on the door and waited for an additional 45 min for the owner to show up. Also made sure the vehicle was refueled and actually put more gas than needed. Come to find out I was charged anyway. This is a small operation and I guess they need to anything to squeeze out more revenue.

After having a plethora of problems simply booking the trailer along with location changes and having the online operator book multiple trailer rentals. I arrived at the location to pick up my trailer only to find their computer systems not working and had to wait for significant amount of time before I could leave with the trailer For which I had plans that were delayed.

This is the worst I have ever had! Called and made an appointment when I got there nobody was there, I waited for a while I had to make a phone call finally got service 20 minutes later!Then I get the vehicle end it was dirty inside and out smelled horribly inside like they just sprayed something and it lasted for the 3 days I had truck and when it shifted gears it jerked really hard! Then when I went to return truck and get my bill they tried to charge me an extra $10 a day and a whole extra day so watch out for these guys hard to say what they might do to somebody else that doesn't catch this! WORST U-HAUL EVER!!!!!!!

We showed up to an empty office, and it took 20 minutes for the owner to come over after I called him. Then I had to go through a registration process providing information that had already been provided online earlier. Overall it took one hour to perform a task that should have taken 5 minutes.

I reserved the truck for 7am and the location wasn't open and the truck was behind a locked gate I called the office number and was informed that I needed to return at 8:30 when I arrived at 8:30 nobody was there I didn't get my truck until after 9 and it was the business owner next door who called the man to come because when I called the phone number left on the door I got the voicemail when I asked why I couldn't get the truck at the time I reserved it for he said we don't open until 8:30 so I asked why I wasn't directed to another location when making my reservation? He told me he didn't know how the online reservation works! Then when I went to return the truck the office was closed! I feel like every rental sight should be held responsible for knowing how the online reservations work. I told him peoples time is valuable I needed that truck at 7am and was made to settle for a later time. This is bad business and I will never use that location again and may never use U-Haul ever again!

The service was slow. It appeared the staff was not well trained and unsure how to operate their system. The trailer axles appeared rusted and did not allow for a very smooth ride and potentially caused damage to one of my items because of how rough the trailer was riding.

i had a truck reserved for 9:00 am no one was there when I arrived after contacting 1-800-go uhaul they contacted the owner and prompted some one to open at 10:00. Upon returning my rental the office personnel informed me they would have to email my receipt because their printer was not working. Upon checking my receipt tonight I discovered a fuel fee of 30.00. I put 22 miles on the truck and put three gallons of gas in the tank. Ridiculous charge. The customer service at this location was extremely poor. I will not be back

Only one person working the property. The first words out of his mouth was that I was late. Not knowing the area, I had to search the neighborhood for a gas station to top off the tank. I was 11 minutes late. I explained that we should have been given more time, based on the pickup experience. I also mentioned that the truck only had a half a tank of gas at the time of pickup. I took a picture to confirm the mileage and gas gauge at the time of pickup. I showed him the picture, and he said that didn't confirm anything. I said I just didn't want to get charged for the gas if they thought the truck was full when I picked it up. He said I should have immediately let them know. I felt I was getting punished. Again, not the best experience. As far as the truck, it was awesome! It handled great and fulfilled all of our needs.

The location person was not knowledgeable on the equipment. Unprofessional. He was dressed in flip flop sandals. He said the printer had no paper so could not provide a paper copy of the contract. The location of my pick up was changed 3 times to the most inconvenient location.

The truck I picked up for a one-way trip was new and in excellent company. Since this site is a subsidiary, like a franchise, they do not have a lot of vehicle variety, so I got lucky. Also, they have no packing materials to purchase. Thanks for Robert (Regional Manager) and James (Saturday sales person).

I reserved two u-boxes on line,arrived at location and was told they dont do u-boxes. After an hour with customer service i decided to rent truck and drive belongings to San Antonio. Should be refunded some or all of $55.00 rental charge since u-boxes were no available

The place is small but has pretty much everything I need. I am first time rent the bumper trailer. Uhaul made this experience wonderful. I have nothing to say but "Thank you UHAUL"

The local location was fine. The regional scheduling office is terrible. I rent from Uhaul maby 2x / month. These people confirmed my rental prior to my 3 hour drive, then on arrival to pick up they suggest I go to a location over an hour away. Then they yelled at me on the phone and talked over me. Then told me nothing was closer.. --I found what I needed directly at the local store. The area scheduling team needs to be wiped and restaffed.

rented a 6' x 12' open trailer went to pick-up a box that was 5' x 6' it would not fit, the rear door was less than 5'. took it back, rented another 6,x12' trailer with a larger door. I shill was billed for the first one. called two time to take to a manager. never got to speak to one. got a email that said nothing that can do.

I had great dificulty getting the one way trailer even though it was in side Cal . I wanted an open trailer to haul a little lumber that I had bought. I had to have an enclosed trailer so I had a hard time seeing to the rear. Very unnecessary to have a big trailer for my needs. You should provide more open trailers one way......

ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC! This is the kind of stuff that goes viral. 1) We don't like getting moved from a good location to a low end/bad one. Took ONE AND HALF HOURS FOR THEM TO DO THE PAPERWORK! We are repeat UHaul customers! This is UNACCEPTABLE and PATHETIC!

I needed a 20' truck, none available, ok. That ended that, So I had to rent a 15' truck then a 10' truck. YOUR SYSTEM TOOK ALL MY INFO APPLIED IT TO SOMEONE IN OAKLAND twice, THEN IN HAYWARD, & IN STOCKTON xtwice also, FOR A 20' THAT I COULDN'T GET!!!! xTWICE WHEN I TRIED TO RENT OUT A TRUCK. IM NOT HAPPY AT ALL. IVE BEEN JERK AROUND & TAKEN ADVANTAGE OFF. IM NOT HAPPY & DIFFINITLY IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. NOONE HAS AN ANSWER FOR ME!!!! WHEN I FIRST ASKED YOU, YOU ALL TO STOP & TAKE MY INFO OUT OF YOUR SYSTEM. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!!!!!

Run by a couple kids that have no idea what they are doing. They were rude to customers and didn't know how to work the computers. Overcharged for a rental. Would absolutely never come back here again. Probably never even U haul again after dealing with this place.

Everything was great from the truck to the service! However, my only complaint was that the attendant didn't help us set up our tow dolly. He said he “didn't want that responsibility”. We had to watch a YouTube video in order to figure out how to set it up.

The employee was 25 minutes late. When I called the location because the front gate was closed, I had called the locations number. It was a personal number and the voice mail was full. He didnt even apologize for being late. I will not be recommending this location for any business.
