Let the customer know ahead of time if they are aloud to pay cash at the end and not just charge their card just because it's on the contract. Make sure everyone that works there know everything that's going on and that they can close the contract out once the client returns the vehicle

At last minutes notice to get a rental van was convenient. But the location of the place could have more signs indicating where place is. I walked past location 2 blocks dwn,bck track and not knowing the Uhaul van parked on the side,looked up and was a small sign. It was located within another business. Other than that was great.

I rent a 4 hour rental, and he put me down for 3 days, my rental was supposed to be only $75 but instead it took $225 which is still pending to be refunded properly.

No one answered phone to instruct where to leave car or keys. Had to return keys in a cutout slot on the business door

Very unsafe location. Employee spoke no English. Would not provide receipt. Receipt came by email five hours later. As bad as the downtown Globe location.

Listen to the cust. I called cust service just for them to keep questioning the position I was in. The location addressed me to leave the truck in the front of the store and that they would be there all day. Upon arrival no one was there. And there was no drop off box for the key. I called cust service just for them to continue asking if there was a dropoff box. There wasnt. And then the representative asked me if I had a padlock? Wtf is that customer service. This is easily the last time I will ever use uhaul, and I will never recommend your services to even my worst enemy.

Nothing against the Rental drop-off office and the attendant there, BUT the location was far from my moving place AND in a horrendous sketchy neighborhood in downtown LA, didn't feel safe, only tents and drug addicts all around. Also it was not explicitly stated that we could not return the truck at night after hours (there was no parking) ... we are glad we did not try.

they were late and gas was very low I asked him to fill it up and I would bring it back full and then he said OK he came back 10 minutes later and then when I got in the truck it was still the same guess so the guy like completely that experience turbo location definitely wouldn’t do it again

What the heck?! I just saw my receipt and I was charged a whole extra day. This is not acceptable. I returned the van before the due time and they didn't process the return until 7 hours later causing me to be charged another day. I didn't even get the use of it for another day. What kind of scam is this? I don't think I ever will rent from uhaul again.

The location is in a very bad part of town. There is no parking whatsoever except on the street. The check-in and check-out process is sub-optimal. I was erroneously double charged for the use of the truck and gasoline until I went back to the shop to confront the management. The interior of the cab was dirty and sticky, and the gas tank was near empty. I would not go there again.

Please do not choose this location. The truck I ordered wasn't ready, and the lady serving me in front told me there was none available. Eventually, I got the truck but the same thing happened to a person behind me. It seems like this location consistently accepts reservations to keep the business running but does not have any equipment. Additionally, to woman serving me did not know how to use the computer or speak english. Please do not give more business to the location so other people have a chance to make better businesses.

Have the equipment ready for use when an appointment is made for it. Clean out the vehicle before use. Please let customer know where to drop off the keys if nobody is there the time they're suppost to be during open hours.

There is absolutely no way to pick up the trucks without seeing an attendant and they open at 9:30ish AM which is not ideal for individuals who want to pick up before that.

Thus was the worst experience from uhaul I will never rent a uhaul again I made a reservation from 4 to 7 I got there at 7 and the place was closed I had no were to park this thing overnight or drop off I called uhaul and they could not let me drop off at another location without charging me when this wasn't even my fault! I finally got a call back 1 hour and half later and they took the car back my phone died and I got stranded in skid row los angeles. This experience was extremely stressful unprofessional dangerous and has seriously traumatized me from ever renting a uhaul again I will look for a different company. The worst part was when I called uhaul to discuss the issue there was nothing they could do for me. Why would they allow me to rent until 7 if I would not be able to drop off? I rented it for work my company will occasionally rent a uhaul for large catering orders and I have told them what happened. This was a absolutely horrific experience.

I was supposed to have my usual until 5:30, the owner of The location told me the location closes at 4:30 pm and asked me when will I be back by. I let her know I have the rental until 5:30 and I will be back by then and she told me that will be fine she will wait. I received a text from someone named Erlan that was completely unprofessional. The text read " The location is closed we will see you tomorrow " I let him know that I had my rental until 5:30 and it was 4:42 , I was already in route back and he sent several more texts rushing me. I also feel like I was over charged, I did not understand my charges so I tried to communicate that and Erlan said I will send the invoice and then stopped responding. I have used uhaul before but this was the worst experience for me and I think it will be best that I utilize Penske for my next move. I am completely disappointed.

Routine maintenance required, vehicle had a variety of smells, service lights and broken interior.

There was air missing from the tires, and oil too. Vehicle did not feel safe to drive and transport with.

Not offering after hours drop off when the store closes at 4:00 is really bad. I was told to drop it off the next day instead but had nowhere to park the vehicle and thus got a ticket. I'm incredibly upset.

Horrible experience overall I would never give uhaul another chance. First they change my original date and then want me to drop off a day earlier. Also wasted $20 on Uber and got charged an extra $60 for an extra day when my original pick up day was moved and drop off day just for the convenience of uhaul and the inconvenience for me. I absolutely hate uhaul and will never recommended it to anybody.

The customer service here is excellent. The process is fast. The trucks are clean. Tony, the manager is amazing!!! He takes care of me always and I've been coming here for a few years now.

dont let customer wait to see you for 20 min (I got the car after 1 hour of my reservation) check if there are used masks and trash in the car before rental dont let people smoke in the car( if someone did, use febreze)

Location is hidden, smelled badly where truck was parked. they did not offer self check out, yet they gave me the round about. Seems like the gentle man that help me didn't wanted to offer his help, as if I was going to steal the truck. He even took a picture with his phone of me. None in the past had taken my picture as they only request the driver license.

The gentleman that I spoke with was very helpful, at this location. The truck I'd reserved was not yet available, so he allowed me to take a different vehicle, so that I could be on my way. This allowed me to make the moving timeframe I'd requested at my apartment, which was greatly appreciated.

Avoid this place if you can. They don't have the accurate miles on their trucks with their system. The cargo van that I rented had 6 miles over than the documents I signed. Gas was almost on E and the guy put the it had 1/4. He gave me the paperwork to sign inside his shop when I hadn't even seen the vehicle i was taking. Once i got to the van he said get inside i will open the gate. He did not go through the van nor checked anything. Once I returned it the next morning i told him about the issues and that i had taken pictures of this when I left. He said yeah yeah don't worry Corporate will match it since they get a notification about that. Gas and miles and you will be charged the correct amount. He did not provide me with no type of receipt of my return. My surprise is later ai received the email with the final confirmation, a document I was supposed to have signed when I returned it which he never gave it to me. Now I got charged with fully miles THAT I DID NOT DRIVE. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. THEY CARE LESS ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WILL LIE ON THEIR PAPERWORK.

There was no drop off zone - had to try and find parking in an overcrowded area filled with people double parking / on a public street. Poor signage. It was extremely stressful and I tried calling Uhaul multiple times to switch locations. I selected to be called back, but when I was called back, I was put on another 30 minute wait. We ended up getting a hold of the manager of this location and he was helpful as well as the women who took the keys, but I would never drop off here again. We had to leave the Uhaul in a red zone and could not complete the photo check out on the app.

I was told via text it was ok for me to drop off the truck in Santa Monica when I asked...Then when I showed up in Santa Monica location the manager was extremely rude saying No. Then, when I wasted more time and gas and showed up at downtown LA location...it was extremely unsafe and major parking issues. Another reason for partial refund deserved. I've rented many, many times from haul and been loyal customer!!!
