Even thought the truck was "clean and maintained" with over 100,000 miles on it, the steering was far from optimal. The truck drifted and required constant correction to keep it on the road. I drove semi's many years ago and for a time worked as a transfer driver for Ryder. This truck would have been an nightmare to drive any long distance, which is why I believe they use it for local moving.

The staff at this location are amazing - very helpful, and they go out of their way to make rentals easy. Christian made my reservation and checked in later to make sure I received the email confirmation; Shawna helped me connect the trailer and showed me everything I needed to know. Shay even completed an unscheduled repair prior to rental so I could safely tow the trailer. Great team of people! I will rent again!

I've rented a 4 x 8 trailer. The rear door was really dirty on the outside and there was a gasoline spill inside the trailer which I had to clean prior to putting my belongings in it. Other than these two facts, the staff was helpful and both check-in and return were flawless.

The on line check in process claimed to save significant time at actual check in. Unfortunately the opposite was true. There was a problem in the computer system that "lost" one of my driver license photos and we had to try and do it again at the store. That took a few attempts.

Please have staff inform customers that the wheel fenders on auto transport trailers flip down to allow easy access to open car doors once the car is on the trailer. I found this out when dropping off the trailer. It's a great feature that I would have liked to know about upon renting.

A 6x12 trailer was available for pick up at my preferred location in MN (thanks!). However the first trailer they hooked up (RV 1183K) had a defective tail light which was confirmed by the dealer using a light tester (trailer problem). This resulted in a swap to a second trailer (RV 6050A) on which both rear tires had low pressure (checked at my request). After filling both rear tires, the dealer noticed an audible hiss/leak on the driver's side rear tire. They replaced this tire with a new one. We also agreed to monitor the passenger rear tire overnight. This lack of trailer readiness caused my pickup time to be about 40 minutes, which is unusual for this dealer/location. The next day the other rear tire had lost 15 pounds of pressure and I had to return to the dealer to have it replaced too, which they did promptly. It did result in an hour+ round trip that day to get this additional problem with the second trailer resolved (before departure). Upon arrival at the drop off location in TX 5 days later the dealer's office was closed (Saturday 2PM). I tried to use the U-Haul web site to complete the drop off but it was showing the MN pick up location as the drop off location too (in error). I had to call the 800 number to complete the drop off which took 20+ minutes due to long wait times. When I did get through to a representative he was very helpful and was able to waive the $20 web check in fee (due to the error). He was unable to provide a $10 refund for 12 unused moving pads that were still in their wrappers (photo taken). He told me the drop off dealer would take care of that refund when they physically checked in the trailer during regular business hours and that If I didn't see the refund to call in again and request it. Needless to say I didn't see the $10 refund for the unused pads after the physical check in and had to call the 800 number again two days later. I was then informed that since this was a one-way rental refunds did not apply. I must have missed that during my web reservation process, and was also incorrectly informed by both my pick up dealer and by the 800 number agent during my Sat. check in. I pointed this out multiple times and was finally approved for a $10 refund. Another 20 minutes fixing what I feel to be U-Haul problem. The bad news is that this rental had many more U-Haul induced problems than I expected which resulted in lost time and multiple 800 number calls on my end. The good news is that the second trailer (as repaired) safely got my load from MN to TX. I am used to a better overall experience from U-Haul however...

When I arrived there was no parking. I drove around back to see if there was more. A woman in a uhaul had her door open and was obstructing the only way through with her door being open. I patiently waited knowing moving is rough. She aggressively motioned me through borderline assault. I parked and went inside. To my surprise she wasn't moving at all. She is an employee. She was behind the counter. I was waiting in line and she was staring at me. We locked eyes. I looked away. She snarls under her breath now she's giving me dirty looks hmpf. Believe me... I'm a powerlifter. I can hold my own if I want to. The man helping me was kind. I asked if there were a manager and he said no. He asked why. I told him I wanted to file a complaint. I told him what happened. His response was huh. Weird. Did nothing. I would NEVER pay for service like yours EVER. YOU COULDN'T EVEN PAY ME TO COME BACK. I was moving so unfortunately I couldn't cancel my reservation. Worst experience in my life. Thought about calling the cops she was so aggressive.

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The equipment was broken or the staff who hook it up was extremely irresponsible. The trailer fell of our truck . It could fly into the car by us. If we were on the highway we would be dead now. We made it aware to the staff when we returned it. It was a different person. All he said is “ you guys are good to go now!”
