Maybe coordinate with the initial location to see how much gas was in there when I got it. I didn't receive the usual paper when I picked up to show me where the gas level was.

This is the second time I rented a truck at this location and both times were stress free and very smooth and painless. The employees go above and beyond to be courteous and helpful they are also very knowledgeable about u hauls policies and what they offer. All aspects of the rental were clearly explained and as were instructions to return truck. I would recommend to anyone needing a uhaul to go to Garnett if it's available because the drive is made up for by something no one really holds dear anymore a good work ethic and a strong family business surrounded by our savior. doug mWhen I picked up a rental truck fuel was at 1/4 tank. I needed to put gas in it to get to my destination so I filled it up. I wasn't sure of fuel mileage so that the reason to fill it up . I was told to return truck with same amount when rented. I used 1/4 tank on the trip which left 1/2 tank of fuel I purchased not used. I was not told or had any paperwork stating excess fuel upon returning would not be reimbursed upon returning truck . I don't know why but this isn't right and I feel I was taken advantage of by the U-Haul rep when I picked it up and by the company. That's a lot of money that U-Haul is taking from me . Not to mention the problems I had setting this truck rental and tow dolly up Not a good experience with U-Haul . A response would be appreciated. Thanks

Deborah SThe keys were not in the lock box. Uhaul could not get a hold of the owner. It was a Saturday and the location is not scheduled to be open however I was lucky after waiting around for an hour I did catch someone going into the office and they were able to get a hold of the owner and release the keys to me.

Pamela CI was charged for 24 blankets that were not in the truck, U-Haul said to contact the local site where I picked up the truck, the local site said only U-Haul issues refunds. The site was closed when I picked up the truck even though their posted hours indicated they should be open.
Shane LEveryone at every level was eager to help me get in a vehicle that would fit my particular need. In this case I needed to move a 6ft Yamaha Baby Grand safely from one home and deliver it to another without losing intonation or sustaining any damage. These particular pianos can weight nearly 1 000 lbs and the ride needs to be good as well as being equipped with long ramp flush to box truck flooring. If I were to make a recommendation for improvement, I would ask that U-Haul bring their strapping rails out about 3/4" to 1" so that heavy duty strap hooks can fit through to be wrapped around the rails so they don't vibrate loose during the ride. Also, it would be nice if the rails were made out of a stronger, more rigid materials to better secure the more valuable furniture or heavy instruments like grand pianos. that's just a suggestion. The price for the 15ft box truck was very reasonable and the truck ran very well. I would definitely go to Bauman Carpet and Furniture to rent their equipment in the future. I just recently learned that they were managing a U-Haul location. Thanks
mark pThe people were SO nice and SO accommodating. We didn't see that the rain was gonna be so heavy in the weather report initially, but by pickup time we had a downpour and they still did an excellent job helping me while we both got completely soaked. Can't find people like that anymore. Merci.
ERICA WAnnie took the keys and smiled gently as she said she would verify that everything was in good order quickly. I later received an email with an adjusted amount as we went over on the allotted mileage. The store looked great and we're considering buying furniture from them. Garnett seems to be a lovely town and we're glad to have moved here.
Brandy GWe dropped of the truck 2 1/2 hours before due and just filled with gas. The gentleman who was called to ask help a customer check in a customer for Uhaul was asked if he could help a Uhaul customer and I geared him sigh and said he guessed he could. He was ok enough just not truly enthused about having to deal with the Uhaul. Then after we left I get a $13,13 charge for gasoline when we left the gas station 5 minutes before dropping off and put $60 in to get it back to 1/2 a tank. So I'm not sure if truck was looked at if it was on incline but we know when we dropped it off itv as a 1/2 a tank.

GREG GI ordered 12 moving blankets, 1 appliance dolly and a box dolly. They had none of the above. The gentleman did not know how to remove them from the total amount Charged. Very upsetting.

REGAN SThe trailer was clean but had broken seals which was not visible from the outside. The trailer leaked water in a small spell of rain and damaged about $3000 of wood products.
