Every time I go here there's a problem. He tried to refuse service and say "the system was down" then he tried to overcharge me for mileage. I think his goal was to make sure I never come back. There were so many people that gotten treated with more respect than me. It was very hurtful. It's like the manager had a personal vendetta against me. Sir, don't worry. You will NEVER see me again.

The truck itself had quite a lot of issues on our drive to Okeechobee County, in that the engine would randomly turn-off while on my drive up I-95, and then not turn back on for several minutes. Happened 8 times on our drive north. Just felt totally unsafe & frustrating. I called the drop-off location in Okeechobee on February 8th to notify them of the issue, just so they were aware. I then followed up on Sunday too, with another call to them.

He charges me for gas when I brought the truck back on the same amount of gas I had gotten the truck on , he charges me 114 dollars and charges me for something he never gave me ! Even when I called him and ask him he said no I did not charge you for that , when I get my final bill , he did charge for it , and he didn't want to give me his name .
SOBRINA SThis place is awful, I was surprised. I am glad that I payed extra to not return the trailer at that location. Also, the trailer tongue was stuck under the axel of a moving truck, they had to put bricks under the wheels to clear it. Not a good place.
Laurent TDon't try and upcharge your customers $80. The area was surrounded by homeless people and drug addicts who bothered me the entire time I waited for my U-Haul. For some reason had to pay 25 over what I was quoted on the website and app.

MONIKE STruck was dirty. I had to sweep it out. The steering was very shaky and unsafe to drive. We already had it loaded when we realized the steering issue. Had to drive 800 mikes like that. The a/c and heater did not work. We had to keep turning it off and back on for it to work just a few minutes. We paid a lot for a beat up truck. Will look for alternatives next time.

EYAD AThe truck was filthy and the cabin smelled like urine, the mileage out was off by 20 miles and when I complained about both of these issues before leaving and after my arrival the agent did nothing about it and said we do not get paid to clean up the trucks. Also the 20 miles over charge was very obvious to both of us myself and the agent that someone in their outfit was using the trucks then passing on the charges to their unsuspecting customers. The uhaul business at this location is a bad business and they are ripping off their customers with their filthy trucks. TM5817M is the truck ID.

SANTIAGO BThe one clerk who worked with u-haul was busy, was Behind the counter at a gas station/ups/amazon/food sale store, kept talking to other customers and clerks, took a while to shuffle trucks around to get to the trailer, then the plug from trailer to my car was not compatible, he told me to go to Home Depot or ace hardware and buy an adapter - i told him to unhook the trailer and cancel the sale until I could get back with the plug - he then miraculously found one in his car that he sold me for $10. By then I had been there over 1 1/2 hours, I asked him to redo the receipt with the current time ( which would affect my return time at destination) he said he could not do that. The guy that actually hooked the U-Haul to my vehicle could not speak English, causing more wait time.

jodie SYou could start by not overcharging them on mileage. I gave the operator of this location and estimate of 100 miles and I only drove 78 miles and he charge me for the full 100 miles. I am very unlikely to ever use U-Haul again when I can go to Home Depot in my area or budget or any number of other rental companies. It would take a Christmas miracle for me to recommend you hold anyone I know after this experience
HERSCHELLE BI would say that if you just need a truck, the place is fine. It's just a gas station that offers the trucks. The same attendant also handles mailing so you have to wait your turn

ONOVAN MMake sure everything is correct BEFORE the customer leaves the location. We were given the wrong key, and all the paperwork was for the correct rental. It delayed us about 30 minutes to get everything situated. The agent was very kind though - honest mistake I understand, but the situation itself was frusterating.

Roseanna MThe problem was I was told by a lady wearing a red shirt with a Mobile logo, my receipt would be sent in 10 minutes, by the guy who I itially assisted me. I later, received an email saying I hadn't returned the van! So of course had to call & straighten it out. That went fine though so all is well. Customer svc other than that I would rate at 7.5. No offer to bring the truck out (which was literally parked too close to the building to get in to from the driver's door. Thankfully I'm resourseful, so I entered from the opposite side. The gentleman on the phone was helpful in resolving my issue as well.

JOSE SThis company cheated on the starting miles. I took a picture and showed them my GPS and traveled 8 miles. They said they will adjust it but still charged me 24 miles. He told me his computer was down so he couldn't fix it right then. My guess is they are scamming the public with this and hope most don't check their mileage.

What truly was disappointing is they lost my reservation AND I presented a $50 off coupon which they NEVER honored. Sad my 1st experience was bad. UHaul should not publish coupons if they are NOT going to honor it.

Online return vehicle was unusually difficult, and I was charged for over 1400 miles on a 24 hour rental. Do the math, approximately a 20+ hour drive? Still waiting for resolution for the $1 530,1 bill for the 118-120 mile trip.

Why put your customers through all of this? I'm not likely to use your service in the future if I have to do everyting mutlple times and then things don't work. You need to make the customer experience easy, not difficult.
