U-Haul not the location should consider putting Ezpass's in the vehicles. Charge the card, would make things helpful

DANIEL JThe 4' x 6' Trailer itself was in good shape and available as expected. However, I discovered one of the break-away chains was so worn due to being 'dragged' by some former customer that 2 of the links had just a small fraction of the metal left and they would have never held if the trailer were to 'break away' at the hitch. Also, the electrical connection was not working correctly, as the right blinker did not work. A quick look at the connector cable made it clear the cable itself was physically damaged. The only 'good news' on these two problems was that this location did have skilled mechanics and spare parts on site, so they were able to resolve both problems in short order and get me on my way. All other aspects of the reservation and pick-up went off as expected with no problems.

John MI had about 3/4 of tank full while at the time of picking up the tank was empty. I was told by the lady during return that I would get refunded for the remaining oil. It never happened and I am calling and waiting online right now

JASONF WMy issue was with the u-haul app and website. When trying to pickup my rental the app kept saying it could not detect my location. That was even after turning the setting to always on and restarting my phone. As well as when checking the location tab to help it pick a location for me to try to rent from it showed me being at the rental location. I had to contact support twice and was eventually told to use the website not the app. I had even gone to the website myself but didn't realize I had to click the profile button to get to the section to pickup my rental. The second support agent needed to tell me that. Simply put the site and rental was fine. The u-haul app and website were crap.

William Wafter downloading the app 3 times, it still could not find my location when returning the truck. the bar code that is supposed to give the location to the app also did not work. Forcing me to return to the store again on the next open business day to manually return the vehicle even though I had returned it two days prior along with the keys. upon explaining the malfunctions i was told they have nothing to do with the app or the barcode. very frustrating. the truck ran fine. the service was fine. and the price was as quoted.

DOUG DI was extremely disappointed with my UHaul experience; however, thinking responsibility lies with UHaul and not location. The van was filthy - animal hair, trash, everything sticky to touch, very bad smell. In addition, there were significant mistakes with the charges. Would hesitate to use UHaul again as my rental option.
Kristin FI reserved the van from a nearby location 10 days before rental. We went to the site to pick up the van and were told that there was not a van there? We had to schedule at another location, much farther, causing us to be late. ????? Why wasn't I notified when I reserved the van? Why wasn't I notified before pickup?

DAVID BIt was the worst experience i ever had in rental equipment when i rented the truck there was no gas cap, there had be water or moisture in the gas the check engine light was on it had no power kept stalling out after obout 10 minutes of driving, the transmission kept up shifting and down shifting the truck was not road worthy
william cI reserved at mechanical lift gate truck for piano and other very large and heavy furniture. I arrived at the rental location and NO LIFT GATE TRUCK. I then had to hire more man power to accomplish the move. Upon inspection of the truck I was shocked to see it had no gas cap. The back was cargo area and cab were clean enough. I know this truck error was not the businesses fault but I should have been compensated. Unfortunately I will not be renting from u haul again.
John MI never intended to use this location as it is MUCH farther than a preferred location to pick up and return the size truck I desired. After stopping at a nearby by Rental location that had the EXACT size truck I needed and speaking with the attendant there, I was advised to "book" it on line, as it would be "easier". I went on line and submitted my request and soon thereafter received a phone call telling me I can NOT get the desired truck from that location but must drive 12+ mile further which will obviously mean more $$$ on my bill. The move I was helping with was from one apartment to another which were less than 6 miles apart. I explained to the Rep. who called me that I saw the desired truck at my "Preferred" pick up spot but she just talked over me. Needing to secure a truck for moving day I accepted the "new" location but was expressing my displeasure when the phone Rep. abruptly HUNG UP ON ME !!! Bottom Line NOT HAPPY

DAMIEN GI didn't care that the truck had less than quarter of gas. I ended up returning the truck to about half a tank of gas, which meant loosing money on gas. Uhaul charged me $30 for mileage which I didn't feel was right, especially given the gas surcharge that I ended up paying.
Baback II will rent again.
Athanasios VI picked up the van with 1/4 tank of gas and dropped it off with the same amount. However, the drop off location decided to call it an 1/8 of a tank and charged me $51 for 4 gals of gas. Ruined a good experience.

Yvonne HThere was a U-Haul brass padlock attached to a chain wrapped around part of the back door mechanism. It did not inhibit our successful use of the door or the move, but it would have been nice if a key was also provided in the event that we were to need to secure the back door of the truck.

randal cI brought the vehicle back early because it showed a check engine light and a tighten fuel cap warning…which I did to no avail. I think a price reduction should have been offered, but none was offered. Still, it's usually an above average facility and I would recommend it.

Kevin WBe wise is a great establishment. The U-Haul rental experience was a disaster. Rented a 10-ft truck ended up with a 9-ft van that was filthy. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned all winter. The representative called me and told me I called and switch my reservation to a 9-ft van. When I explained that I was moving it was very inconvenient and I wasn't able to get all my stuff moved on the day of my rental. He said he would call me back to let me know where the miscommunication happened. Then proceeded to tell me that I called from restricted number. I never called. He tried to blame it on bewise which I know it was not. The representative Donald Devito at that location for U-Haul ,droped the ball and wasn't very professional. Even with a $50 credit back, I will never use U-Haul again because of this experience.
Elizabeth JI have rented U-Haul vehicles several times in the past from this location and my experience was always positive. Each time the rep was very courteous and she made the process quite easy. On this occasion, when returning the vehicle after hours, I mistakenly deposited the key and was unable to properly close out the rental on the link. Upon calling this location the next business day and prior to my call, the rep had conveniently closed out the contract with no other necessary input from me. The result was a smooth and efficient transaction. I would recommend.
