Uhaul didn't allow me enough miles for travel. My location was 135 miles to my house and another 15 to drop the unit off. They only allowed 151 miles. That Gave me no room to even stop and get fuel or bathroom or food break. I was coming from metroplex and if u miss one turn its going to take u out of route at least 10 to 15 miles. Uhaul needs to allow room for u to go pick up from wherever u need to where u are going. Its not like I had it loaded when I picked up the truck. Seriously!JACLYN S.

there was a key stuck in the ignition. no big deal because truck still worked. EXCEPT that i had the truck overnight and so all night long i had SEVERE ANXIETY that someone would STEAL the truck since the keys were left in the ignition and then i'd be stranded as well as have to pay for it? such a minor detail/infraction but it truly added unnecessary DRAMA to our tripBLAKE W.

Old and dirty and a huge hassle to have to use my phone to rent this. There should be people to assist you on site with this. It was raining and I had to take pictures of the exterior with all the damage. By the time I made it to the inside, the app said I could not load any more pictures. The fuel level was wrong, the mileage was wrong. Sadly, I still don't know what my final charge is. I'll be going to Budget or looking elsewhere for my next rental. I expected better from U-Haul.PHILIP H.

Vehicle had brakes that were not good, multiple service lights on which was concerning (brakes, oil). The radio also did not work. Truck was clean inside but did not have confidence in the mechanical stability so was happy I was only going a few miles.ELIZABETH P.

Location services wouldn't work and I was unable to check in the rental. I was also told that I could return it at any UHaul location and because of that I got charged a late fee. The checkout process was atrocious. If customer service wait wasn't 45 minutes I would've been able to turn it in on time.Floyd B.
Van had a back door that was REALLY hard to roll up. Didn't mind to much it wasn't full of gas but the previous renter left food in there so it wasn't cleaned as well.LAWRENCE F.

Although I reserved a 26 foot truck well in advance, when I arrived there were none available. I flew to Dallas to move my belongings and not being able to rent the truck size I reserved caused me to have to leave items in storage. They double charged me after I dropped of the truck. I was able to resolve the issue after calling customer service. My experience with customer service was the opposite. They were quick to resolve my issue and courteous.ADRIAN G.
They told me truck was inspected and ready. When I got to my destination and opened truck the space was dirty and had debris...and the 20 blankets I was charged for and ordered were not in the truck....I needed them for an antique furniture move. Very disappointed.David P.

The door did not close. The ramp wouldn't go out and come in and therefore I couldn't lock the back door to the U-Haul. The back door went up and got stuck in the up position and couldn't get it down. I talked to the lady at the U-Haul location and she said â€œoops I meant to send that out to get fixed.â€ This was a terrible experience as the equipment (truck) that I was renting was basically un-usable. I was in such a tight time frame that I couldn't go back and switch it outâ€¦ I had to make due with a ramp that wouldn't go in and a door that wouldn't shut. On top of that the steering was absolutely shot and that truck couldn't drive in a straight line if you tried. Alignment was completely jacked up. Over all a terrible experienceGRAHAM D.

This location needs to update its computer / payment systems. There way too many delays and problems with the payment system and if the person helping doesn't have a lot of experience then the service comes to a complete stop. They are getting better at this location with customer service.Bryan E.

The employee that checked me in was disingenuous in that they led me to believe that I would not receive my fuel credit unless I brought the vehicle back with 1/2 tank (I received the U-haul with 1/4). Unbeknownst to me, U-haul's protocol is to expect the vehicle back with at least the amount of fuel the vehicle was received with. That employee is misleading customers to get free fuel fill-ups from customers. I was also disappointed because when a customer service employee called me, their tone and approach was to suggest that this was my fault or misunderstanding...they seemed to be in a hurry to get off the phone and I was wasting their time with my concern. He then said that he would talk to the employees at this location, which could potentially allow that deceit to persist and remain internalized. I just don't want other customers to be tricked into providing free fuel that THEY paid for to the U-haul location.Parker K.

These people charged me for a dolly I did not have and cheated me on my contract on the price of the mileage. This place is ran by shady people who try and rip off their customers unless they know what they are looking at on the contract. I am calling tomorrow to discuss with management.WINSTON W.

I had to keep the U-Haul 2 extra days because my apartment wasn't ready when promised, and the employee at U-Haul Big C Food Market was friendly and accepted the request with no issues both days. The only thing I didn't like was how run-down the location is, for lack of a better word. The facility is inside an old convenience store that needs serious cleaning and updating.Zackary H.

Van was dirty, smelled like cigarette smoke, was not completely full of fuel. The facility was very shabby, parking my auto there was scary while I used your van for 4 hours; however, I was charged for 8. The nice guy that checked me had a long line ahead of me, worked alone and it took 45 minutes to get the keys even though I checked in on-line. Van's warning messages that is needed to be serviced was distracting. Not my best experience with UHaul.Thom H.

The condition of Truck is acceptable. Front bumper breaks in the middle. Passenger mirror is cracked. However, the worst part of my recent experience is the mischarge of fuel and fuel service fee. Before I return the truck, I filled up fuel to the level when I got the truck. There is no reason for uhaul to charge me for it. Right after I saw this mistake on my bill, I sent email to 741002_AFM@uhaul.com to request correction as indicated on the receipt. But no one response my email. I do not what happen at uhaul side, but uhaul overcharged me 55 dollars for fuel and fuel service fee and it seems there's no way I can argue about that. This is a terrible experience.xin Y.
I obtained the U-Haul for 6 hours (9am-3pm); returned it within 3 hours (by 12pm); but was double charged due to returning it around 5pm (which was incorrect). Luckily, I took videos (which had time stamps) prior to obtaining it as well as when returning it and has been corrected. If I hadn't, I don't think I would have been credited.CINQUE D.

The truck was dirty and seemed like it was not cleaned or sanitized after the last person. The truck smelled and the truck had no freaking A/C! We are in texas moving, that makes no sense to not have the ac working or tell the customer that it is our or give them another functioning truckBRITTANY N.

Overall decent experience. No issues with the location, or service at that facility. My main pain point was the online customer experience . Very inefficient. I had to enter duplicate information. Data that you would expect to automatically transfer to the location's system does not transfer, so I wasted a lot of time providing the same data multiple times. Not to mention the more times you have to share data, cyber attacks increase. Not something you want associated with your brand.Scott P.
Inspect the trucks before releasing them to customers. The check engine light ignited soon i started the van. There was no other van available at the time and I had professional movers on the clock. The electronic communications do not send accurate messages. I signed up for Truck Share so I could pick up the van overnight so that it would be available to movers early the next morning. I received an electronic message that the equipment was ready. After I called an Uber and arrived to the lot only to find out that I would have to return at 7 AM for a pick up. How disappointing. Hire additional customer service representatives. I had to make four phone calls and each one had me on hold for at least an hour. It was exhausting. At the end, my bill was incorrect. This location isn't the prettiest. But i gave it â€œExcellent,â€ because of the clean truck, convenience and speedy process! I didn't have a reservation but was driving the truck within 5 minutes after arriving! And returned truck online, in less than 2 minutes!!MARQUIS M.
