This has nothing to do with the location but with U-Haul in general. I made a reservation several weeks in advance and scheduled the pick up at 8:30 am. The night before i received a text that my reservation was changed to another location for a 2:30 pickup. I then received another text the day of my rental that my reservation was once again changed to another location which added significant miles to my rental as it was many miles from my home. What is is the purpose of making a reservation as it seems to be meaningless.

The process to reserve the truck was easy On line check in was self explanatory. Paperwork was ready to go when I picked up the truck. The truck was clean, gassed up and ready to go. Check in was easy as well. Both staff members Tim and Kyle were courteous, professional and great to work with

Advise customers where to park for 24 hour access. My car was locked behind a gate overnight and I could not retrieve it after I dropped off the truck. Ensure the truck is stocked with requested equipment or (u-haul) make it part of the initial verification. I had to hire movers because I did not have a dolly. I also had to use my own bed blankets because moving blankets were not provided.

Have one designated location for the trucks to park. Some were parked in a lot across the street that was marked for another business, others were parked on the street. It was a bit confusing.

The item I reserved was at another location despite the address on Holly listed on my order. I sent a follow-up email to UHaul support but never heard back on it. Nothing wrong with either pickup location as they had nothing to do since I reserved on U-Haul's website.

The truck was filthy. There was leftover food crumbs, greasy fingerprint smudges and trash. We asked they guy who helped rent it to us, he said they other things to do as well as uhaul. He took a broom and cleaner out to the truck but I'm not certain what he actually cleaned. As someone who has used uhaul many times over the last 15 years, I'm going to think twice about using your services if this is what we have to look forward to, especially during a pandemic.

Ryan the GM was outstanding at getting us all set up. I have to say that prior to that our experience was terrible. I was sent to 3 locations to pick up an auto transporter and one was an hour away. Why you can't set it up so the client can reserve a unit at a location of choice with a non-refundable deposit is beyond me. You make it very difficult for the customer. My daughter experienced this same thing a month ago and I've now heard from several friends who said they would never rent from uhaul again. You need to hire more people like Ryan and get your logistics squared away. Honestly, this is amazing that you have been in business this long and have a terrible way of doing business.

Tim , the manager , was accommodating and helpful; my rental was at 4:00 pm, had to wait till next am, then found out UHAUL cancelled my reservation! Tim remembered me, called me the next morning and got me going..... I appreciated that someone actually cared. I didn't mind the van being dirty either....... not critical for moving day to me.

I know this review might be confusing. I give my original pick up location on Havana 1 star. I'd give it zero if I could. The guys at Big Box were super great, which is why I gave them 5 stars, after a very frustrating morning at my original pick up location. I made an appointment to pick up my truck at 9am. When we got there, no one was there, door locked, not answering their phone. Four other people were in the same boat as us, and we all had other people waiting on us to help with our moves. After trying to call for 30 mins, I got ahold of customer service. She seemed confused as well since the store should have been open. She put me on hold for awhile, and when she came back told me she couldn't get ahold of anyone there either. She was very nice and found us a truck, but the truck that was available was 20 more minutes away. By the time we got to my apartment to move, we lost an hour and a half of time and had to rush. I will reiterate that the guys at Big Box were wonderful. They accommodated us on very short notice, and were very helpful. My move took about four hours, and we only made one trip from my apartment to the new place which was 10 mins away and 4 mins from the drop off. They still charged me to fill the tank which kind of made me upset considering they sent me an extra 20 mins out of the way to pick up the truck. Bottom line: The people I interacted with today were great, however, the situation in the morning plus charging me to fill the tank after my terrible experience was frustrating. I suggest calling to make sure someone will be at your location when the open times are posted if you decide to go with UHaul.

This was a good experience and certainly provided what I needed. That said, neither the interior or exterior of the vehicle had been cleaned, which did not bother me. There was a tire pressure light on thought, and I do wish that had been dealt with before I received the vehicle.

We rented a 10ft truck and a dolly. We were surprised when we got to our loading location to discover there was NO RAMP with this truck. That made the dolly useless AND increased our work by a hundred percent. Wish someone had told us there was no ramp!!!

Truck drove well and was great going over mountain passes. Cab had a bag of leftover food from previous renter and was dirty. Windows and back were not cleaned.

I need to be to be comepansated for. I traveled over six hours to not have any trailer to pick up! I was told by some employee who didnt give two shits about me that the owner was sleeping that he will be back in an hour??? who says that ??? I called uhaul and they could not get a hold of the owner either??? why are they a dealer????? why are they representing UHAUL???? This is not professional! I need to be contacted because i will reach out to the BBB unless you make it right and give me some sort of compensation not a credit!!!!

The truck I rented was not clean. There were used water bottles in the cab. And an old dirty mask on the floor. The cargo area was not swept out and full of bits of wood and other debris from a previous move. Also the dolly I rented was not in the truck so I had to go back inside and grab it. Considering this rental was over 200 $I expect to at least have a clean truck cab. I mean we're in the middle of a pandemic and I had to clean up dirty masks in the cab!?! That is completely unacceptable and I will be looking for a different moving company next time I'm in need of a truck.

The drivers side seat was not adjustable & had to drive the truck too far away from the foot pedal,..very tricky driving and very uncomfortable. Please fix this ASAP

I am so disappointed U-Haul. This is the second time that my equipment was not where was supposed to be. This time I had to drive almost 20 miles to get my truck it was supposed to be across the street from where I was loading my truck. And because I was misinformed of its location I did not have a second driver with me when I went to pick it up. Which caused us I have to go back and get my original vehicle. So it cost me extra gas a lot of extra miles. For the almost 1 500 $that I spent for that vehicle. It should have been clean or at least cleaner. The cab was dirty and muddy and the back was dirty and muddy, it got dirt on our furniture. It seems like few people forget that most of us that rent trucks don't do it on a regular basis and don't know all the details. Well at least I'm a little wiser about renting vehicles from U-Haul

Pick up and check out process was good When we got home with the trailer we had a flat tire. It was a very slow leak. WE maintained it during the trip while getting gas but would obvious prefer not to have the condition. Worked out.

the folks at the Big Tool Box rental center and the booking experience was excellent. Pick up and drop off were effortless. The only issues I had were that the inside of the truck was filthy. Cigarette butts in the ash tray, dirty windows, etc. It really was gross to be honest, and in hindsight I shoiuld have asked for another vehicle. Also, the vehicles transmission seemed like it might go at any point.

It was a nightmare!! It took me multiple locations and phone calls to finally find a location that had everything I needed. For my trouble U-Haul gave me the truck free for one extra day. I booked the truck to pickup at 12:00 and I actually picked the truck up at 10:40 and returned the truck around 11:15 U-Haul charged me an extra 70,73 $ for 35 minutes. I will never use U-Haul again. I'm a pilot for Southwest Airlines and my customer experience with you guys rate a solid F. I'll will be telling everyone to use another company.

Van was filthy on the inside and out. In addition to crumbs, dust and dirt, the driver and passenger seats were covered in dog or cat fur (that I was allergic to). When I called the store to complain, they told me that they're not really a uhaul store and have other things to worry about and that we could discuss upon return. They told me they closed at 7pm but were gone before 6pm and was charged for two days instead of one.

It was well maintained but dirty floors and sticky driving wheel and the whole cab smelled like sweaty body odor. My mother who was with me could attest to that as she was also with me. Good thing it was a nice day outside because we had the windows rolled down the whole time. Overall, great prices, location and service dealing with polite and informative employees.
