Manager was not helpful. Took several months to figure out how to get signed in so I could pay my bill since auto pay kept failing. I was locked out of my unit on more than one occasion after my auto pay failed and I was finally able to sign in online, but the manager hadn't restored my access yet. Then on a few occasions I needed to contact the manager, but not only was he not answering the business number, but wasn't even at the office during business hours. Then after getting a different unit and moving all my stuff, I emailed the manager and was completely ignored. I had to email again almost a month later. Finally got my unit and account closed, but with a lot of hassle. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place unless the manager was no longer there. Horrible experience.

Got hit with a 20 % fee increase after only 6 months. Clarification on all the Y/N questions since they require an answer - 1) I had to clean my storage unit before moving stuff in because it was really dusty/dirty. The property, itself, appeared well-maintained except for the unit near the entrance with the broken door and a junker car inside. 2) I was never on the premises at night so I can't comment on the lighting. The manager does not live on the premises. One entrance/exit with standard keypad. 3) The office is conveniently located but, other than the day when I signed the contract, I never saw the manager's car there. I think he manages two other storage facilities. 4) The manager was very friendly. 5) Don't know that I'd recommend. A 20 % increase after just 6 months is pretty steep. My social security didn't go up that much so I'd have to cut back somewhere to keep the unit.

Curtis was fantastic! Checking in and signing the contract was quick and painless. He was extremely helpful and I'm so grateful for his kindness. I'd recommend Black Bear to anyone!

Don't rent here. Mine and about 30 other units were broken into the weekend after Xmas and the thieves cleaned out my unit. The thieves had free acees to the property due to the gate being removed to be replaced . That took multiple weeks. When I asked the management if they were going to do anything about it they said I should have gotten renters insurance. I shouldnt have to have renters insurance when I am paying $70 a month to have my stuff behind a secured gate. I asked the on-site management why they didn't have a security guard while there was no gate and was told that corporate didn't want to pay for one. Do yourself a favor a rent a unit anywhere but here.

I was not able to move into the storage until on the thirst day of May. The reason for this misfortune is that I made the rental start date after hours. I am hopful I will still get to move in today.

I did not occupy this unit. After the reservation was made there wasn`t a conformation given. No follow up email. I had no idea if the unit was ready or not.

I reserved this hoping to get to move in yesterday and the office is closed on the weekends. I never received confirmation or any information how to get through the gate.

Never received my refund and its almost a month later. I have an email saying that they would refund me but they haven`t. I even replied to that email and reminded them... And nothing.

I had said I needed to cancel the storage unit because I never received a response from anyone regarding my reservation. I am not using access mini storage and I would like my money back
