Well when I got the truck home and opened the back door it looked like they were moving horses in the back there was so much mud so had to take the truck back and get a different truck. So maybe just look at the truck before they rent it out. That would be a start.

The white wire was exposed which I found out later is the wire for the running lights. Thankfully, I was pulled over by a State Trooper who kindly informed me two exits from my hotel reservation. He allowed me to proceed and filled me to ensure our safety. This should have been checked and fixed prior to my rental of the unit.

The rep (mindi) that had did my rental was very unprofessional to me. As she was on ph with u haul rep and had been silent for a few mins. The other lady Chelsea was chit chatting with me. She was very nice to me and made my day. But when mindi told me that I needed to get back in front of her, that I needed to be in front of her and I need to stop talking to Chelsea. The way she said it was very rude. That’s when I felt very disrespected. At that point our relationship was well over with. She threw my debit card down on the counter instead of handed it to me. Did not gv me a receipt for my rental or the hat I brought. I had to ask her for one. She also said something to me that was disrespectful when I asked for a receipt. She did a few other things to that was not right, but I’m tired from driving and cant remember until rest. I asked her if there where trailer brakes on the trailer. She did not know what I was talking about. She told me I needed to go out side and take pics. She said, I’ll be out there soon. She found a rubber stopper for on chain and said there was not one for the other chain. She took a pic of the hitch and walked off without checking the trailer or helping me with checking to see if there were lights or brake lights. Again she did not gv me a receipt. At this point I felt that I did not want to be around her any longer. When I dropped it off the rep on the ph Patricia and I think it was Marg was very nice to me. We got it checked back in. But, because of this lady mindi it made a good day bad. Makes me want to try and find other rental companies instead of u haul when I need to use these services. Also, when I asked Angela to transferred me to customer service it was the chevron station where I rented. The guy Chris who answered the ph told me to call back in ten mins. I asked him for the ph number and he did not know it. So that ended any resolution at that time.

I had the 40 dollar size, it cost me 187 dollars , I had the truck for 6 hrs and went 28 miles total. I find this very high. Uhaul used to give veterans and ret cops a discount. I am both, what happened. the people at this loc. were very nice.

Basically the lady refused to help me. I arrived to pick up the truck at 12:45 and there were two ladies working the registers and I got in line. When I reached the front the lady (I think the manager as she was wearing a different colored shirt than the other staff) When I told her I was there to pick up a Uhaul she instantly became annoyed. She threw her hands up in the air and walked away from me and started complaining to the other lady "This is ridiculous! I don't have time for this, I have to be in Phoenix by 1;30" she exclaimed "...and I still have to take care of this" she said as she grab some blue cash bags and held them up. She then walked out from behind the counter and went in the back. I stood there for a moment and then I asked the other lady "So is someone going to help me?" she then stated I would have to wait until 1pm and then turned away with no further explanation. I sat in my car and waited for 15 minutes then returned. At that point two other staff members were there. When I mentioned to the new staff member that I was there to pick up a truck she was very friendly and helpful. She jumped into action and had me out of there in about 5 minutes. When she learned of the rude service I had prior to her arrival she was very apologetic. Perhaps she could train the other staff on Customer Service and being professional and polite. I'd like to point out that when I pulled away the rude lady was still there so clearly she could've helped me if she waned to.

The refueling penalties are an incentive to try one's best to exactly refuel. But they are less weighted against imprecision than they are in favor of over-refueling. Onerous.

When I arrived to pick up the truck, the U-Haul rep asked if I wanted to add insurance. I already payed for insurance online, so I declined. However, the rep removed my insurance that I already payed for. Please let employees know that if customer purchased insurance online, it should only be removed if customer requests it removed.

The equipment I rented on Saturday was everything I needed for my move the people at Blue Hills market for excellent and professional we got started right away with our rental and we were on the road quite quickly. and on the Hour Return we drop the truck off at Cave Creek and 101 done check this in right away and we were on the road she was quite awesome nice assistant manager there she was very efficient told us everything we need to know about our return ad welcome d us back. I really liked the location for our return. Lots of space to park, and very professional folks at cave Creek and the 101 location. When I received the truck the gas tank was 1/2 full, they knew I was going 90 miles up the mountain I feel the truck should have been full. When I finished using the truck the gas tank was 3/4 full I feel like I should be reimbursed for the fuel.

People did not know how to use U-Haul computer. Took 90 minutes to get a rental truck. I was told they could not find a U-Haul return near my home even though I had returned U-hauls to that location before. Wanted me to return it to a location 40 minutes from my home.

I hunk it’s wrong that I turned my Uhaul back in exactly how I checked it out and I made sure that the truck box was completely empty and that the cab was clean as well, yet I received my charges and saw that I was billed $25 for cleaning fee and also almost $4 for cleaning tax. I am not balky that I was charged for cleaning considering it was clean and was returned exactly how I found it when I checked it out.

The lady I talked to when I called to inquire about renting a truck had a lot of difficulty filling in my information on her computer. She asked me if I wanted the insurance, which I declined. When I picked up the truck today, the agent was unable to print a contract, which would have shown the error in charging me for the insurance. When I returned the truck I was treated with disrespect and downright snottiness by an employee named Candy. I also learned that I had been charged for the insurance after all, which I have disputed. I wouldn't rent from these people again under any circumstances, which is a shame, because I've always had great experiences with U-Haul employees.

At 6pm I was told the could receive my rental tomorrow since the u haul business closed at 5pm. This would have force us to spend the night just to turn in the rental Uhaul's customer service call center told us how to turn in the rental using uhaull.com which worked perfectly. The counter person at Blue ridge could have offered the online option to us.

The Person renting the truck was unsure how to do so and everyone else seemed to rather stand around than provide any help. So expect delays in getting your equipment rented. Just as a side note, they would not let my wife use the rest room as we had been on the road for 2 1/2 hours. This is not a one time occurance at this location. I believe that a facility serving food is in violation of state and local statute in not allowing their patrons to wash their hands or use the toilets and referred the matter to Prescott Valley

Pickup and drop off were fine. Great system U haul has put in place with self check in/out. My issue is with U Haul charging me $42 dollars late fee for 19 minutes. Unacceptable. I thought U haul had improved customer service since my experience 15 years previous, When I waited 4 hours at a U haul facility for a truck that I had reserved days before. I was finally willing to put my trust in U haul again after 15 yesrs. Now to be slapped in the face with this ridiculuos charge. When is the last time you were at a Blockbuster, oh there gone. Customers got feed up with their ridiculous late fees. Thank you for making me a permanent Penske guy. Sorry to the person who has to read this negative rant, I hope you have a good day. This is directed to the person and U haul policy who made the choose to bill me this fee. Enjoy my $42 plus the several hundred I paid from renting your trucks two weeks in a row. Oh and the extra $50 in fuel left in the truck the first weekends rental.

Rented at 1030 am and planned for 10 hours. When i tried to return vehicle at 6 pm, the employee tried to tell me they were full and not accepting anymore vehicles. I returned it to the same location i rented it from. I told her that i had signed the agreement that morning with a different employee who told me.to return it when i was done. That is what i was told to do.

The rolling door was broken and we did not discover this until we were already in Phoenix. We struggled with the door all weekend and upon return, they said "sorry for your inconvenience"- I think offering a discount for the weekend would have been a much better solution.... nice folks but the equipment should really be checked between uses.

The truck was not ready for me to pick up. The mirrors or not adjustable so I could see properly. And even though I made my reservations online I still had to wait for the truck and the equipment that I asked to rent for. And I had to put gas in the truck so I wouldn't run out before I got to my destination
