I was told at pickup to return to the Royal Inn in mount Vernon and it turns out they don't do Uhaul anymore so it was frustrating to have to drive to another location even though I had selected to drop off at Bradshaw in the first place. The royal inn says it happens a lot so I'm sure I'm not the only one that this has caused an issue with.

Locations are great corporate is terrible. To make me drive 30 minutes to pick up a reservation I made 2 months prior. Then charge me to drop it of where I requested it to be. Uncomprehindable!

I returned the truck a day early after arranging for someone to pick me up, only to find the office closed. I called the number on the door, and the employee claimed that he had an emergency and told me to come back in the morning if I had concerns about being improperly charged for extra gas (which I did; see above comments). I was, in fact, wrongly charged for extra gas. I called the office the next morning, and the employee explained that he was unable to change the records regarding the gas amount. He suggested that I call the UHaul 800 number to get the issue resolved. He was very courteous during the phone call.

I have always liked to rent your trucks but these businesses that participate are terrible. I paid a total of 383$ to rent the 10 foot truck and 55 in gas. I will never rent another thing from Uhaul again. Over rated, expensive gas guzzlers. This business offered no relief or reimbursement for renting this truck. I'm not happy but they did get paid.

I scheduled for an 8am pick up and then wasn't able to pick it up until 9am as the location was closed. Which threw off my whole day. I'd recommend not allowing customers to schedule for times of the day in which they aren't allowed to pick up the rentals if the location doesn't over 24/7 pick up.

I don't really know what kind of racket Gary Bradshaw is running, but he's not running anything close to a reputable U-Haul dealership. The 26' truck was filthy; inside the enclosed loading trailer had to be swept out and the cab had spent chewing tobacco inside the cup holder in the driver's side door. The driver side wiper was damaged; leading edge on said wiper was torn over half way down the length of the blade. Thank God it wasn't raining. On the windshield there existed a crack, approximately 17" to 18" in length. Crack began in the lower right hand corner and promulgated diagonally towards the center of the windshield. The upper and lower ball joints need to be immediately replaced. A very difficult job was made even more difficult by having to steer in traffic by not over reacting and over-steering. In two lane traffic, with the wind blowing all day against the sides of a high profile moving truck, this could have easily led to a head on crash. Couple this with two front tires that have worn unevenly, and there is a definite front end alignment problem too. The fact that the A/C didn't work would have been no big deal in the dead of winter, but on a 91°F day with humidity was just the final straw. I wouldn't recommend U-Haul ever again for vehicle rental and I'd say I was royally fucked by Gary Bradshaw and his joke of a dealership.

Speedometer did not work I called the dealership two times before I left. Stopped in Marshall Texas stay the night, next-day speedometer worked. called him because it was freaking filthy with sticky stuff everywhere that I cleaned some things up with. Soda can just absolutely filthy. He said nothing he could do about it. So I drove on

The tank did NOT have a half of a tank to start off with and I have a picture for proof...and was charged 13,50 $ extra for gas that I did NOT even use. I paid for a dolly and did NOT recurve it until I had to drive back over to the business to pick up, which was out of my way and was charged mileage for. I will never use this place again and will be letting everyone know about my experience.

We had to return later and spend some of our mileage and gas to get the trailer that had been promised to us on our reservation. We had to sit and wait in the office around 45 minutes for people to call the owner of the place back so he could tell us to come back later in the afternoon. We took the truck but had to come back later for the trailer.

I was made to wait in a lounge watching TV for 20 minutes while he was selling a car. His wife was just puttering around cleaning...it would be nice to have someone else trained to do uhaul as well to avoid such a wait.

Sucks I had to drop this back to mount Vernon instead of different u haul next to me or pay extra to drop off some where else the place I got it from guy was great good customer service but had to wast more more for gas to drop off instead of going right down road to drop off

I was charged extra at drop off because the person who put in my reservation put in the wrong destination. They put in the drop off place instead of where I was going. Very upset customer and I will not be using Uhaul in the future.

Returned my truck full. He immediately assumed I was someone else. Said I wasnt getting my deposit back. Called his boss. He was no help either. Said they had no cash on hand and last time he did Uhaul never gave his money back. I still dont have my deposit back. Will never do business with you again.

Manager was extremely rude and indicated he had better things to do than rent a UHaul to me. Said his 60 $commission was costing him business elsewhere and suggested I was taking up too much of his time. Had I not needed it so badly that particular day, I would have definitely cancelled and taken my business elsewhere.

You need to improve your online reservation system. I was unable to go online and up date my Reservation #22314690 to show it would be dropped off in California on May 26th not in town on May 25th. Now I'm being charged 44,95 $ a day because nobody checked the Tow-dolly in when it was Returned in Concord, CA at the Uhaul on Monument Bl on May 26th.

the dealer was argumentative and hotile about fulfilling my RESERVATION on saturday because he had 1-26' truck and another Reservation for the same on monday. ??? he also tacked on the haul insurance without asking me and I DID NOT put in on when I reserved it, and did not want it. It colors my whole view of Uhaul as an entity. very frustrated with the whole thing

Trailer tail lights were working then stopped working. Was pulled over by a police officer, luckily he let me off since it wasn't my trailer and asked me to drive with4 way flasher on so I could be seen.
