I was charged an after hours fee because I dropped a trailer off early. The pick up and rental experience was not great either, the office was a mess and the person working the desk had no idea how to use a computer. Worst u haul experience I have had yet.

3 of the 4 tires were under-inflated. 32 pounds when the recommended was 40. But it's been cold lately so I get it, but it clearly showed that no-one was checking it. I only traveled 10 miles so it wasn't an issue.

Did not provide proper information on the return policy- expected for customer to read the contract instead of explaining what the contract was. Was charged an extra $20 due to not properly going over the contract. I will never use there services again.

Please actually put the equipment in the truck when a customer rents equipment and is using the 24hr pickup option, so the customer doesn't have to travel to another Uhaul location to get their equipment.

For this rental, I needed to coordinate picking up my Uhaul with dropping off my Avis rental car because I do not live in Cincinnati. I scheduled my Uhaul pickup at the Reading Road location, which was literally next door to Avis. I made both my Uhaul and Avis reservations Monday morning, 7/22. However, on Wednesday I received an email stating that the Uhaul pickup location had changed from Reading Road to Montgomery Road. I did not see this email until Thursday (the original email said that someone would "contact me" if the reservation location changed). Either way, I was not able to change my Avis dropoff to a better location relative to Montgomery road. The Lyft ride from Reading Road to Montgomery road cost $20 plus 45 minutes! Plus I needed to drive 20 additional minutes to my final destination where I used the Uhaul. I feel I should be compensated for the fact that Uhaul changed the pickup location without so much as a courtesy call, just an email that was too late to act on. The change cost me $20 plus an hour of my time, and also the inability to get out of Cincinnati before rush hour.

There were political signs on the property which makes the atmosphere seem unprofessional. The rep. took a long time to sign me in/process my order even though I spent the time signing in online/scanning my ID beforehand. When my uhaul was rented I was sent out into the lot to find the uhaul without the assistance of a representative. The ID on they keys were faded so I had to try the keys on every uhaul. The equiptment that I rented was not included in the uhaul so i had to go back to the storefront and wait in line to get the equiptment that the rep. stated was already in my uhaul when it was not.

I was very happy with the whole experience. After reading some of the reviews, I was apprehensive about the whole thing, but it went very smoothly for me, so I’m really happy! Also, the price was less than I had estimated, because I didn’t realize the second 100 miles was calculated at a lower rate. Tim, the manager (owner?) of Bramble Towing was very helpful. Would definitely use them again.

The only thing I would change is for the company to make it extremely clear to the renter that even though it’s advertised as $20 per day, if asked if you know when you might return and you say probably about 4 , it’s not made clear that if you say that they will rent it again and say you be late after when you pick it up. I thought a day meant 24 hours. Thanks

I have reserved my van 2 weeks prior and the day that I was going to pick it up, was told it will be ready. When I was about to pick up they said they do not have it available and offered a box truck- I have a box truck and do not need one, I want a van. Was told to go to a different Uhaul in another state to pick-up and need to drop it back off there. No offer of compensation or help in anyway. Very bad, waiting on the District Manager to call me back- as I wasted a lot of time just to rent a van.

I was not happy with uhaul at all. I spoke with a rep name Devin in which he was no help at all. Please review the call. I was transferred to a person named kristen she was the best. She stayed on the line with me until I was able to get the code. Once I realized that the dolly which I'm being charged was NOT in the truck. I called back and spoke with a Devin again, I was told that I was told no refund would be issued. In which I shouldn't have to pay for. I'm asking for a $10.00 refund

Not really sure where the ball was dropped in terms of communication (it may have not been this location's fault, this is just for my overall experience) but when I originally signed up to rent a vehicle I was promptly called to be informed that the location didn't have the vehicle I needed and that they would transfer my request to a new location to rent it (which I was completely fine with). I did the mobile rental so that I could rent it earlier than when they opened up. When I got to the location and went through the steps to pick up my vehicle at 8am, I had a message saying the reservation was never made. I ended up waiting around for 45 minutes until I saw a worker show up, informed him of my predicament to which I was told "I can't do anything until 9 when we open". Whether it was the original representative not sending my reservation to the location or the location not checking on my reservation I did not appreciate waiting almost an hour just to be told to wait longer after expressing what happened. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because when they did open up the worker took care of me first and quickly got me set up to go which I did appreciate.

Worker was very rude over the phone. Hung up on me because I wouldnt let him interrupt me trying to explain why I was confused on the charges. Tried to interrupt me several times like what I was trying to say wasnt important. Nasty tone when talking to me. We brought the truck back with 3/4 a tank and they charged saying it wasn't and they took a picture but the gas gauge said at 3/4 when we dropped it off. Next time i will take my own picture but will never use this location again.

I reserved a 15' moving truck 2 miles from my home to move my son to college. I was informed that the pickup location was moved to another location. The changed location was close to 20 miles away. Due to rush hour traffic it took over an hour to arrive. In addition, it was in the opposite direction of my destination and dropoff location. Highly frustrating to say the least. Not sure what the purpose of a reservation is if you are re-directed to another representative that was such an inconvenience. I don't blame the pickup location but regardless, not satisfied with the experience. If I treated my customers in this manner I would be out of business!!!

Fuel level was 1/4 tank. Before I drive halfway, it start to indicate low fuel level. It would be better if it is at least half filled or full tank when I rent the vehicle.

rental part went well enough. But after getting into the truck, we were not able to keep the windows closed because of the overwhelming smell of gasoline in the cab. my son started getting sick, but we needed to use the truck, and it was the only pickup. It worked great otherwise, but my rental return was not so hot. they charged me a cleaning fee, because the floor of the cab had dirt on it. Also, claimed that the bed was muddy. We hauled yard waste, and blew out the truck bed after usage. they claim they have pictures, they probably do, but the truck was certainly not in any worse shape than when I picked it up. The response from the local rental facility was less than welcoming to me - essentially saying tough, and that I can complain to uhaul - well this is that complaint

Based on the pickup debacle, we called the drop off location a day in advance to be sure they were expecting us. No surprise, rhis location was not even open for business. They wouldn’t be open for several days. Back on the phone to uhaul with mulitple phone calls and every call started with at least a 10 minute hold time before we could speak to a representative. Also, consider that we’re driving cross country using a cell phone which is in and out of cellular service which would drop calls and start all over. What a horrible customer experience for a company that’s been around for as long as I can remember.
