After delivering the truck, the employee stated we were a little lower on the gas than when picked up. She said she figured she would let us know so that we didn't get charged the higher amount in gas from Haul if we preferred to do ourselves. Of course we preferred to add the extra gas. Before we left to get the gas she said when you come back just park the truck in the other parking lot and we agreed. We got the gas at the Chevron next door to BTA and parked the truck where she requested. She didn't come out to check the gas while we were there and we failed to get confirmation that the gas was sufficient. Two days later I was charged $60 by them. I'm assuming it was for gas. So they charged ne ANYWAY for gas that I had put in there to satisfy the insufficeny. This is terrible customer service from BTA. If the $60 wasn't for gas there shouldn't have been a charge without my knowing and or permission.

Rates / We paid $2 044 March 3rd 2025. I tried to make reservations for 5/22025 to the same location and rate has jumped $700 for the same size truck

Movinghelp was a no show for our load. Pick better vendors. Tge rental.proxess went well and was easy to navigate. Great staff.

Truck was clean but whoever used it before smoked lots of weed and the smell was bad. Needs to deodorize and charge them customers to have it deodorized.

The rental was not clean and covered in dog hair which caused my sinuses to flare up. I ended up having to stop to buy Zyrtec to get through my trip. The vehicle also needed an alignment really bad. Other than that I was able to get my job done!

From beginning to end the experience was terrible. They pushed me in hour out from my scheduled time 8am. This made my family members late for work or their other events due to them helping me move.

I didn't know that it's a possibility that they might not have the size truck you need for the day you reserve for so have another day as a back plan just incase which was a big inconvenience for me

Great experience. Truck was very clean and nearly new ( only 5 000 miles). Rode great and even got nearly 8 miles/gallon with ~15k pounds on board.

One thing you all can do is lower those gas prices, 4 dollars and something for gas is a bit much, when gas was $2,63 a gallon

First time using this UHaul location. Staff was friendly, prompt and courteous. I was in and out quickly with the 6x12 enclosed trailer rental.I would most definitely use their services again.

The truck stunk, was dirty and someone had previously tried to break in or something so the was a small opening in door jam and it was so loud. Plus the AC only worked part of the time

Got a text 10 minutes from pick up an was told original pick up location didn't have a trailer. Had to reroute in Dallas traffic in unfamiliar city. Bad logistics. Both locations pick up an drop off were outstanding. Paying tolls has proven challenging. Previous rental I double paid the same amount. Toll payment should not be so difficult.

Rep was helpful and provided a full explanation. Provided a drop off extension, though we ended up returning early. To be clear, previous negative review was not on Richardson location. The woman who answered the phone when I called is responsible for such poor service.

Called U-Haul about this facility and if it was open on Thanksgiving day for drop off. Was told yes, but they were closed. Phone would not work as site required, so I took a picture and left. Did get confirmation the next day of receipt.

The attendant, Andrew at the desk mumbled all of his words he wore dark sunglasses the whole time and the utility dolly that I had reserved was not available. He barely even got up from the desk the whole time and was not very friendly.

No body told me when to return the keys on after hours. I walked around for more than 20 min to finally found a small box in the dark close to the storage gate. People should be advised where to drop keys in case the office is closed every time they rent to your location

This was crazy expensive. We paid over $600 for a cargo van for three days. We check-in process was confusing. We had to check in after hours (although no one warned us the location was closed on Sundays) and got a $20 for it? Why??? And we locked the key in the van. Admittedly a mistake, but we were charged a $150 fee. You're telling me the location doesn't have a spare key? I don't believe it. I would not rent a uhaul cargo van again from any location. The price is too high.

When i came in to make the reservation, I was told by the man at the store that it was 99 cents a mile. The morning I came in to pick up the truck, the older lady confirmed to me again that it was 99 cents a mile. When I returned the truck the same day, I met a younger lady there. She took the keys from me and told me my receipt would be emailed to me. When I received it, I noticed I was charged $1,19 a mile. When I called to ask why, the same younger lady told me to take my frustrations to U-Haul directly as they were a 3rd party agent. She flat out told me "I am not in the mood to argue today, take your frustrations to U-Haul." That is very rude and dismissive to a paying customer. I definitely will not be returning and take my business somewhere else. Myself and everyone I know.

This location is about 4 miles outside the city limits Of Forney. When you decide how many miles to say you were gonna be using I didn't realize it was gonna take 5 miles to get to my first location. So I was charged for two extra miles which I did not believe is fair. I have not received the $13 credit for gas. And I did put gas back in the truck. I truly think this location should credit at least 3 miles back-and-forth.
