The employee who helped us was very kind and knowledgeable. After signing the paperwork we went to look at the truck and it was not cleaned out. The employee took care of that. We were told to ask if we dropped the truck off early if we would get a refund for the day we didn't use it. None was given from the Johns Island U-Haul.

This was the 3rd location I was sent to. The first wouldn’t rent me the truck they have. I was sent via email to the second location (10 JEFFERSON rd, NEWNAN, GA) and when I arrived, via Uber, I was told that the only 26’ truck they had did not run well. The location agent told me he tried to call but it was an old number. There was no email sent. The third location I went to the only truck they had was dirty inside and out. The back was open when we arrived at the truck and there was spilled beer in the cargo area and what looked like puke. The truck only had 3/8 tank of fuel and the agent there did not know how to use the computer so the check out process was really long. The entire experience with U-haul minus the return in Rockledge FL was horrible. I won’t be quick to rent again.

I made a reservation at C. Hemricks in Newman to pick up a 6 x 12 utility trailer to assist with our last leg of a move. When we got to the location to pick up the trailer, they didn't have any their lot. We settled for the enclosed but when we started to hook it up, they didn't even have adapters to use or to purchase. We left with a trailer that had no turn signals or brake lights. We had to waste precious time and resources following the trailer in our second personal vehicle so we didn't cause any accidents due to not having brake lights or turn signals. I will never do business with this location again. They should not be allowed to have a U-haul service counter. They have no idea what they are doing. I am very disappointed in my experience with U-haul this time.

Rented a 6 x 12 trailer to pull 100 miles away and back to move my son from college. Trailer was ready when I arrived, clean, good tires, pulled straight and true with no issues. C Hemrick Enterprises helped me immediately with the transaction although I had created the reservation online. Super service!

Very disappointed location has no one capable of assistance to connect or disconnect equipment. Had to get help from other customers. Rental for optional second day was not what I was quoted by staff when I picked unit up. From now own I’ll fine another provider to rent from.

It takes to long to get anything done due to computer issues. It's the 21st century folks, lets get on board with modern technology and find someone who knows how to operate a computer. There is no reason anyone should have to stand in line for 45 minutes to get their vehicle processed when there are only two people there in line.

When I reserved my truck through U-Hauls website and chose hemricks as my pickup destination I was assured by Uhaul that I could rent my truck for 3 hours and would only be charged $20 plus $0.99 a gallon once I showed up to the store the owner said that no that's not possible I've never heard of that and we don't rent trucks by the hour that Uhaul only rent some by the days so I paid double to rent a truck for 3 hours. I will never use Hendrix as a U-Haul pickup place and I will be contacting the manager or owner of the store to show him my confirmation emails stating that I would pick it up for 3 hours and what I would be charged.

None of the pads or dollies I requested were available. I had to travel an additional 20 miles to pick them up, and then was charged for this extra mileage when I returned the equipment.

I was redirected here, an hour round trip from my requested location. This location is not exclusively a U-Haul dealer. The trailer had faulty wiring, there was no one to assist with finding the trailer, hooking up and disconnecting, and I waited 45 minutes just to speak to someone to check out. When I reserve a product online at a location, I expect UHaul to provide the product at the location requested. These part time UHaul dealers do UHaul a great disservice.

Was sent here, as my second stop to get a trailer. My original stop, did not have a trailer so they sent me here. When I got there to pick up the trailer, the internet was down, so they could not check me out. They tried to call U-Haul customer service to see how they could check me out, and were on hold for 30 minutes, with no answer from U-Haul. Unacceptable. They finally got the internet working and I was able to get my trailer 40 minutes after arrival. I never should have had to go to this store in the 1st place. I had a confirmed reservation in Peachtree City, never got an email or text that they didn’t have the trailer. Found out once I spent 1/2 hour driving there only to be sent back 1/2 hour to Newnan Tina different store. U-Haul needs to get their act together. Terrible experience. Will use Hertz for now on.

Didn’t have all of the pads I ordered and our antique dining room set was scratched as a result. My rental was not at the location I requested and no one called to let me know. I’ll be renting elsewhere and am requesting a refund for the problems and inconvenience.

Had several employees that helped me expressed complaints about different aspects of me getting the u haul and then explain to me how this was not their job. Also, make sure whomever is going to assist a customer knows what they are doing. I got halfway across Alabama and realized that the safety chains for the tow dolly for my vehicle was not secured and the straps that go around my tire was loose on one and off on the other. It also took about on hour to get the truck due to computer issues and another location having my reservation even though my paperwork said their location.

Staff polite, but not very knowledgeable or helpful. Also staff had no sense of urgency. Truck was dirty in back and in cab. Cab smelled of cigarettes and body odor.

Reserved a 5' x 9' utility trailer. Tried telling me it was a 5' x 8' enclosed onei reserved. Trailer (when finally sorted out) had to be thoroughly cleaned up to even be able to put our stuff in. Brake light did not work. Poorly maintained altogether.

Vehicle ran well and you can tell that there was an attempt to have cab clean, but ceiling of cab had smeared buger over driver side. Attention should be given to the cab ceiling when cleaned. It was nice to have blankets and a dolly, but ratchet straps would have been nice if at least suggested before or at time of pick up. When dropping off the vehicle which was only driven about 10 miles, the receiving clerk rudely told my husband to fill the vehicle back up to a quarter tank, which to the best of our visual accuracy, already appeared to be at a quarter tank. We had even discussed on our way there how good the truck was on gas since the gauge had not appeared to have moved any. We returned the truck a day earlier than we expected, but were not refunded the day we didn't use. Clerk stated they don't do that.
