Improve your software. I them 30 minutes to check me out, finally had to call a representative to get the process completed. Also, don't know why I need 2 names and phone numbers. I could have given fake names and numbers if I wanted. Just more of a waste of my time. The person who came up with that idea is a real rocket scientist!

Better selection of trailers had to reserve a larger one than needed but was able to switch to a smaller low profile unit that was being returned as I arrived to pick up. Personnel we're helpful .

I ordered my rental truck approx 2 weeks before I moved. On the day I picked up the truck, I found out there were no dollys or furniture cloths available. That's not acceptable for UHAUL to drop the ball like that!

If i could give them a minus 10 i would. First of all, All 4 tires in the trailer needed replaced but weren't. Husband didnt realize it until we had it loaded. Somrthing was wrong with the trailer from the beginning. I have rented multiple trailers from uhaul over the years and none made my vehicle feel the way that it did. In top of the fact that we get 400 miles to a tank dropped it down to 150-160. Husband thought maybe the break was staying engaged. Had a blow out took over 2 hours for someone to come fix it. The guy that came said all 4 tires needed replaced but he is only aloud to fix the one that blew out. He warned us about the tires and stated good luck getting there. Plus the trailers are to be inspected regularly this one had not been inspected since the 3rd week of February. Trailer was not cleaned out from previous time it was rented. I will never rent from uhaul again.

The problem I had was with Uhaul and not Ace. I reserved my truck online and the system apparently messed it up. The 2 employees that helped us were phenomenal and I appreciate the fact that they did everything they could do to fix uhaul's screw up. She even tried getting me a discount and uhaul told her “no, we don't do that”. Thank you to the Ace employees! Uhaul…you need some work.

I would suggest making sure fuel levels are adequate. The truck had less than a quarter of a tank of gas in it. We are local, so ok but perhaps next guy wouldn't be

Training for employees on how to do the uhaul process. The man that helped us had no idea what he was doing. To reserve U-Haul took an hour.

My only issue, and it's more with the UHaul scheduling & booking system, that I read many negative reviews about, actually happened to me. I scheduled a 20' truck, but it was not there and had not been returned. Luckily Calcutta ACE had 2 26' trucks that were not scheduled until the next day, and they substituted 1 of them instead, and considered it a free upgrade. I needed a truck & had driven a 26' previously, but it was actually a negative. The 26' took more time to pack for a local move, because more time had to be spent filling the larger then needed space, so contents didn't largely shift & cause damage. Plus the 26' truck is harder to handle, particularly with backing up & parking in tighter spaces. The house I was moving from has a fairly shorter driveway, & backing up was much harder, so as to not block half the street. Must have stiff penalties for returning trucks significantly late, which then creates a nightmare for most next scheduled renter!

The u haul I rented and was given the keys for, was not present.I went to leave and could not find it. After a little investigation, they discovered it had been stolen during the night. They worked it out with another truck and I was on my way shortly afterward. They were very helpful and professional.

Issue it was pricing and wanted to give me a truck that had no gas in it. I had to go to that location because they had none in New Castle Pa. Who wants to start moving at 11am ? The truck in new castle we wouldn't have been able to get it till at least 11am: I am hoping I never have to move again:

While this local agent did a superb job handling our reservation, corporate UHaul provided a deplorable service, including conversing with the local agent, which caused major delays for our day. I can't speak negatively about the local agent because they did everything they could to provide incredible service.

My original pickup was transfered to another site. The new site didn't have my rental available. I ended up with a 10ft that they couldn't Give to us right away because of an issue from the previous person. The lady did her very best to accommodate the issue. Just not happy with how it happened

Check the miles before and after every use. They tried to charge me for going almost 100 miles when I went less then 20. I only had the u haul for an hour took it at 2:30 brought it back at 3:30. The problem was fixed but it took an hour to resolve the issue.

Was charged for fuel twice i pit the gas back then got hit with the fuel charge anyways. Then when called none would help me with this issue being charged 80 dollars for 7 hrs and charged double for fuel is not acceptable

I requested the rental weeks in advance and still had to drive 20 minutes one way to pick up the truck and 40 past that to pick up the trailer after the first location said the regional manager was just at both locations and could have brought it to a single pick up point. I was also told I would receive a free months storage and when I got to the location (Which was not the drop off point but the address I was sent via email and text) was told the storage reservation was made in Ohio, where I picked up the truck, and not South Carolina, where I was dropping off, after specifically telling the woman handling my reservation on the phone that I needed a unit in South Carolina. The facility in SC had no available storage and was not interested in helping me, they told me to call the 800 number and moved onto the next customer. After 2 hours I was told I could use a ubox which I won't be able to access until I remove my things from storage. Additionally, my papers stated my drop off Point was on Cashua drive, after I left the facility on Irby St.. the manager called asking where I took his truck and I had to explain to him that his desk attendant told me I couldn't leave the truck there, then bring it back to them. This has been a complete nightmare from start to finish and I will never use, nor will I recommend, u-haul to friends or family. U-HAUL? U-FAIL.

What you could really do is keep our reservation local, and not an hour from our home! We scheduled April through October at the beginning of every year, but yet we have to fight to get the location we want, or keeping the type we have reserved. Sending us an upgrade for a piece of equipment that we CAN NOT use is worthless.

Our pickup location and drop off location were changed 2 hours before pickup. This was VERY inconvenient to us as we booked it online for our convenience. Why have it to book online for customer to chose if you will change it to be convenient for the business???

Got no paperwork on anything. The receipt from transaction shows I agreed to the contract when I didn't even sign anything. I thought the truck was going to break on us. We paid $160 in a deposit and was told we owed all most $50 more. I will never go thru this uhaul location again.

I recieved the truck & took it to the location where 7 of my friends met me to empty an appartment! When i went to open the back i could not because it had a pad lock on it! I called tru value & they told me to return it & they would cut lock off, which they were unable to do! They did contact last renter and got the code to unlock! This took a ton of time off of my buzy schedule & my friends schedule! They did knock off the milage from appartment back to tru value but offered nothing for time for thier mistake! Im not blaming one person or tru value but uhaul for not making this right!!

Dont email surveys to people, which makes their phones blow up, at 11pm at night. Especially when people have to get up at 3am. It's extremely inconsiderate, and really fucking annoying.

We were scheduled to pick up our struck in Steubenville. We called the located a few dads ahead of time to confirm he had out truck and car hauler. He was rough with me and said yes he did and did not want me to keep on asking. I told him our whole family was moving to grad school and this truck was for our son's house and our car. The morning of our pick up we were told he did not have either and we would need to drive from Steubenville to East Liverpool to pick it up. We had the moved plan several months in advance. My son's college graduation was the next day and we needed everything to work out just perfect. Then when we got to East Liverpoll they did not have any blankets. We end up missing the night before my son's graduation mass as we had to drive to another location to get blankets. Then on the drop off day the Cincinnati location called and said he had us as dropping off at eleven? I explained to him we had just left Steubenville and would be dropping it off by 11:00 PM. It was a nightmare!

Your application that requires me to take a Photo of my Drivers License does not work on my Android Cell Phone. It says, "OUT OF MEMORY". But my cell phone is NOT "out of memory". I even deleted a couple of PHOTOS ( I have less than 10 ) and tried again, I still get "error - out of memory". Your APP has a problem, get it FIXED. Also, I called 15 - 20 U-haul locations within the 44460 zip code area and 90 % of the locations did not even answer their telephone!!! It appears that only True-Value actually cares about the customer. These other so-called "dealers" are essential useless and are giving U-haul a very bad reputation ...
