Tire light on in truck indicating a problem which stayed on entire trip. Nerve wracking. Also over an hour to get the truck which was reserved days prior

Joe NThe location was very good, but had issues & delays with returning the truck, due to issues with U-Haul system & return process, that held me up an extra 10-15 min.

Jeffrey TI had a problem with the beginning mileage. I took a picture of the odometer before I started, but it turned out different from what was reported in the computer. I had taken pictures of the before, middle and ending mileages, and the people at the desk were very accommodating and fixed the charge to make it correct. I appreciated their help and professionalism.

John AMake sure the trucks are aligned better, also there were no furniture blankets in the truck to use. I had to use my own personal blankets. The truck bed was not cleaned out, there were leaves and dirt from the previous user who didn't sweep it out after they used it. The cab was nice and clean and smelled good.

Alan JI was supposed to pick up the truck at 1:30 on 5-27 I changed it to 2:00, when I got to the location there was no truck available for me. This reservation was made on 5-25. I finally received the truck at 5:20, It was dirty, the doors didnt close right worse reservation of my life.
Melvyn MWhen I rented the truck a dashboard light was on, that appeared to be an airbag warning light. I noted it when returning truck, and hopefully it will be addressed before the next rental. Also was a furniture dolly left in the back of the truck in the attic area. Assume it was from previous renter, but nowhere to leave comment when returning truck after hours.

Kendall DNo. We did not have the utility dolly I rented in the truck, the lock box was not on the truck, we didn't know where it was, here it was on front of store building, then the lock wouldn't unlock, we had to wait till the store open to get my truck !!! I paid for all this and this location is not doing their job at all, I went n the store they acted like It was a big deal!,, not a good experience at all.

Drextel Awhen i rented the truck i was charged for the truck & pre-charged for 20 miles, the truck had a half a tank of gas, i took a picture of the gas gauge. and milage. When i returned it the truck had a half a tank of gas the girl argued with me and i showed her the pictures i took, and she said i was going to be charged for the difference. and she charged me for a additional 10 miles, i only drove 10 miles and was charged for 30 miles

Joe NImprove your software. I them 30 minutes to check me out, finally had to call a representative to get the process completed. Also, don't know why I need 2 names and phone numbers. I could have given fake names and numbers if I wanted. Just more of a waste of my time. The person who came up with that idea is a real rocket scientist!

kimberly cI ordered my rental truck approx 2 weeks before I moved. On the day I picked up the truck, I found out there were no dollys or furniture cloths available. That's not acceptable for UHAUL to drop the ball like that!

RALPH JIf i could give them a minus 10 i would. First of all, All 4 tires in the trailer needed replaced but weren't. Husband didnt realize it until we had it loaded. Somrthing was wrong with the trailer from the beginning. I have rented multiple trailers from uhaul over the years and none made my vehicle feel the way that it did. In top of the fact that we get 400 miles to a tank dropped it down to 150-160. Husband thought maybe the break was staying engaged. Had a blow out took over 2 hours for someone to come fix it. The guy that came said all 4 tires needed replaced but he is only aloud to fix the one that blew out. He warned us about the tires and stated good luck getting there. Plus the trailers are to be inspected regularly this one had not been inspected since the 3rd week of February. Trailer was not cleaned out from previous time it was rented. I will never rent from uhaul again.

Josh GThe problem I had was with Uhaul and not Ace. I reserved my truck online and the system apparently messed it up. The 2 employees that helped us were phenomenal and I appreciate the fact that they did everything they could do to fix uhaul's screw up. She even tried getting me a discount and uhaul told her "no, we don't do that". Thank you to the Ace employees! Uhaul…you need some work.

Sarah MMy only issue, and it's more with the UHaul scheduling & booking system, that I read many negative reviews about, actually happened to me. I scheduled a 20' truck, but it was not there and had not been returned. Luckily Calcutta ACE had 2 26' trucks that were not scheduled until the next day, and they substituted 1 of them instead, and considered it a free upgrade. I needed a truck & had driven a 26' previously, but it was actually a negative. The 26' took more time to pack for a local move, because more time had to be spent filling the larger then needed space, so contents didn't largely shift & cause damage. Plus the 26' truck is harder to handle, particularly with backing up & parking in tighter spaces. The house I was moving from has a fairly shorter driveway, & backing up was much harder, so as to not block half the street. Must have stiff penalties for returning trucks significantly late, which then creates a nightmare for most next scheduled renter!
John VThe u haul I rented and was given the keys for, was not present.I went to leave and could not find it. After a little investigation, they discovered it had been stolen during the night. They worked it out with another truck and I was on my way shortly afterward. They were very helpful and professional.
Troy VIssue it was pricing and wanted to give me a truck that had no gas in it. I had to go to that location because they had none in New Castle Pa. Who wants to start moving at 11am ? The truck in new castle we wouldn't have been able to get it till at least 11am: I am hoping I never have to move again:

DUSTIN SWhile this local agent did a superb job handling our reservation, corporate UHaul provided a deplorable service, including conversing with the local agent, which caused major delays for our day. I can't speak negatively about the local agent because they did everything they could to provide incredible service.
Albert RMy original pickup was transfered to another site. The new site didn't have my rental available. I ended up with a 10ft that they couldn't Give to us right away because of an issue from the previous person. The lady did her very best to accommodate the issue. Just not happy with how it happened

John SCheck the miles before and after every use. They tried to charge me for going almost 100 miles when I went less then 20. I only had the u haul for an hour took it at 2:30 brought it back at 3:30. The problem was fixed but it took an hour to resolve the issue.

Jim AWas charged for fuel twice i pit the gas back then got hit with the fuel charge anyways. Then when called none would help me with this issue being charged 80 dollars for 7 hrs and charged double for fuel is not acceptable
