this location always seems to be very disorganized. Even when a truck has been booked on line this location still has to rebook a truck. Sometimes this can take up to an hour to do.Richard W.

Have more then one employee at the location when it's at a store. The guy did his best checking me out but also had to keep stopping to get others their lottery tickets and other things. They were polite and helpful it just takes so much longer.MELISSAL L.
The clerk at Camden Variety had no knowledge about U Haul when I returned the truck. He was the only employee there. He had to phone someone for instructions. I found this odd, and unprofessional.Doug T.
Nothing wrong with this location. I had a very poor experience with U Haul however. First, I showed up to the original confirmed pick up location only to find the truck was not there and after listening to 2 rude representatives who did not help me at all I was sent off to another location which put me and my helpers way behind schedule. There was no compensation for the mistake they made other than supplying me with a larger truck which was not necessary and burned more fuel costing me even more due to their mistake. Poor customer service from U Haul.. Nice woman at the Nappanee location and only 2 of 5 customer representatives I dealt with either over the phone or in person who was helpful.Dave T.

Very poor staff support. I had problem with my rental pick up. The manager told me to call UHAL, so, no support from him. Spent hours there trying to solve a problem that could have been anticipated by them. Very poor service.Rubens B.

Our booking, made over 2 wks in advance, was changed from an 8am pickup to a 3pm pick up. This was totally unacceptable & inconvenient for us. Then after not getting our truck until 7 hrs later then requested, we got calls from uhaul, when we hadn't even had the truck for 24 hrs, asking when the truck would be returned!! It was not due until 2pm the following day. We certainly did not appreciate being harassed to return the truck. We did, in fact, return the truck over 24hrs before it was due back. I got transporter to move a car when we hooked up licence plate was missing and other one they had was supposed to have wiring issue. I'm licenced mechanic and asked if I could try it see if simple issue. I hooked up no issues at all everything worked perfect sealer was excellent to deal with very custermer oriented will recommend this location to anyoneROY H.

I really like the hydraulic jack to lift the tongue. My husband and I almost broke out backs lifting this in Sep 2021 - only to find out a jack exists!!!! Thank you napanee location :)Cindy S.
Only complaint is that I had to wait 30 minutes in the store on someone to complete my paperwork. Owners live next door and had know one working for the uhaul portion of the store. Even after they were called to attend to me. However, trailer worked great and in excellent condition. No complications.Victoria B.

Friendly and personable people, but the truck was very poorly maintained. Almost no shocks, engine felt sputtery. Was filled with summer washer fluid which was frozen rock solid. 5/10Matthew P.

Truck was buried in a snow bank, had to rock it out. Was dirty on the inside, filthy on the outside. Was covered in ice and snow, which I had to scrape off myself, and No scraper included with rental, according to franchise policy. The capper was when I started the vehicle, and got a warning code about low tire pressure in both front tires.informed management about the situation. His solution was to give me a looney to go get air myself!! When I refused to do his job for him he did finally take the truck for air, however the code remained on for the entire 700 km trip. Will never rent again from this franchise.Greg M.

If U-haul could have more authority with customer service or line of authority could be more clear it would be really helpful to me.....sometimes lack of knowledge of who has proper authority leads me to being transferred from one call to another call toa third call to a fourth call to a fifth call ......Awtar P.

I believe I was charged twice for this rental: once when I pre-registered online and once again when they made me register a second time during pick-up. I told them I had already registered and paid online, but I was made to register and pay again. The rate they charged me in store was double what I paid for the online registration. When I got the trailer home to fill, I found it was littered with garbage that I had to clean out.Gregory L.

When I ordered the U-Haul online I put in my Visa debit card as it asked me to. Then when I went to Camden variety to get the U-Haul they charged me $100, I then noticed that my account had been debited $49,95 also. I was told I would be emailed the receipt for the van I rented but it never happened. I even called the business and was told that the owners would return my call, that also never happened. Still waiting on a call or a receipt for the rental. Maybe a little more customer service would help future customers.Wendy C.
