Honour reservations. I had mine moved to a different location AND I had booked a 1 way trip and was told 2 days prior to my trip that a truck wasn't available for me and I had to do a return trip. I only found out because I called proactively because ignoring reservations is somewhat of a reputation for U-Haul. Disappointed that I made a reservation 1,5 months before my trip and for what?

Had a really bad experience with this reservation. Had initially reserved a 15' truck at another location days prior but Uhaul ended up switching the location last minute and I was not aware. So when we went to pick up at the original location, they told us that they didn't have a 15'. So we ended up going to a couple different locations that same day just to get the truck we were looking for, despite doing the reservation days ahead. Secondly, once we actually got a truck we could use, the battery died on us a few times during our rental. Called Uhaul to discuss the bad experience and they told me that all they could do was to send me a $25 gift certificate as a gesture of good will...

IZAAZAT APickup process went badly because it would not acknowledge that I was at the correct location. I think the problem may have been caused because my iPhone had location access for Safari set, but Precise Location was not set. Have your agents advise users about this.

Justin MGive clearer directions on where the truck is parked and how to access it. It was behind a gate that looked locked and I wasted a lot of time. Alternatively, park it outside the gate. There was a lot of issues picking it up due to a lack of reliable cell service. Please consider hosting a WiFi hotspot at your location to make pick up easier.

Nader KDirections to use U-Haul should be more clear, I was told to submit the key in the box , who would tell me the location where the box is? I was a headless chicken. One needs to understand that one can be tired post a long day of moving stuff, and the person needs to under and should have the right directions for the keys to be submitted

Thiago GI was overcharged for the mileage I used. And didn't get any free kms. Last time I used uhaul they gave first 30 kms free then charged a set price per km after that. This outlet didn't do that I was charged kms right from the get go

Complicated procedure to get the key from the lock box, constantly rejected the images, and phone numbers and the return was just as ridiculous. And for the 4 hours that we had it, it seemed very expensive. Won't be using this again.
Darrin OI ordered dolly as well but didn't received it eventhough I booked it 30days in advance. I picked up and dropped off truck using mobile pick up so process was smooth only issue was that uhaul was not detecting my location.

Manveer SAbsolutely terrible service. Location was moved 3 times, the last time we received a call only an HOUR before pick up. Online check in app was malfunctioning, causing a 3 hour delay to get the truck. What should have been a 10 a.m. pick up, ended up being a 1 p.m. pick up. Truck had barely any gasoline in it upon pick up. I asked for 2 furniture dollies, and did not receive them. Then, upon return (which was supposed to be 9, but they changed it to 7, last minute), they tried to charge us an additional hundred. Absolutely ridiculous. Will never be using U-Haul ever again.

Amit SFirst of all, my pick up booking was supposed to be at 5:30 AM, I arrived at 5:00, and wanted to begin the process however I couldn't find the Pick up my truck thing that I should click on to start. I called customer service and told them I need my truck and they started to try solutions none of them worked and that went on for around 2 hours while I was on the phone. Then the rep gave up and gave me a number to call to schedule a new reservation since she couldn't figure out what was the issue. The other rep answered and advised that he doesn't have any reservations.. Desperately I started to look for a new reservation at 7 AM I arrived at an open location and told her what happen, it took her about only 5 mins to figure out the issue which is that the reservation was booked for the truck to be picked up at the counter not the 24 7 pick up my truck feature. Which is obviously a clerk's mistake. Worthy of mentioning, around two weeks ago I wanted to give the pick up my truck a run and I received a messages saying that my reservation is at the counter and I should wait until the day of booking ay 9:30..so I expressed my concern to one of the reps and she said that I have nothing to worry about and I just have to show up there and then since it's 24 7 reservation. Another issue is that after I was finally able to pick it up being late for my appointment 3 hours, I didn't get the process to confirm which equipment I should find in the truck since the app glitched again and again. After I arrived to the drop off location I realized that there's only one dolly, while I ordered specifically 3 utility dollies and one furniture dolly with 0 furniture pads. I found one dollar with many furniture pads which are no use for me. My whole day got affected and I was scolded by people for showing up late. I'm truly mad and angry about this level of unprofessionalism.

fabien kWe have been given wrong information about pickup location. We went to location which we have asked for, That location was not accepting clients. Then gentleman told us to go to second location, went there but they was not aware that we have pickup. Gentleman there called someone and sent us to 3rd location. Again person in charge at location was not been informed about us, But finally he gave us truck after 1 hr of our pickup time. For sure not happy with this experience. Maninder SMake the online application more user friendly.......Never expected to have issues when picking up the key as you have already taken everything including my credit card on line.......I feel sorry for the person at the the site trying to do this. You should be able to just enter the reference number and print something...not have to give the same information again onsite
