They wanted late for me i was running late.
Jonathan MVery inconvenient that we went to store as a walk in but couldn't rent the truck. Had to leave and do the reservation online then come back for truck. No signal at store and no WiFi to do reservation.

Dalton CThe inside of the uhaul smelled like a wet dog. I'm betting the inside of these things NEVER get cleaned. The smell actually attached itself to our belongings like an entity. I'd recommend a smell test if you're renting an enclosed uhaul. Other than the smell, everything else was fine. They were prompt and courteous. Every person I dealt with at uhaul was a professional.
Bernice LThis location is fine, but uhaul as a whole is a terrible company, overcharges, had to call multiple times to fix the problem they created. I made a reservation online for a 15ft truck and car dolly, they sent the notification and wouldn't you know you can't pick up a car dolly on a weekend with no one there, good job uhaul now we had to waste over an hr staying on the phone with you just to be told to go to a different pick up site for the car dolly. Everyone we spoke to gave different responses to the questions, so I guess uhaul needs to actually train their employees or have a company meeting on policy. I would never go back to uhaul and would expand every other option before giving them money.

Katie PThe staff was very helpful! Cell service is not very good in Haysi so using the app is difficult and would recommend letting them do the checkin at pickup. Plus they don't have a Dropbox to pickup the key after hours probably because the cell service is so bad and not being able to use the mobile/self pickup. But the staff was helpful so I'm still giving them a 5 stars. Just be aware if planning on using the app.

SHAWNKEVIN OWhen I placed my order online I checked the box for no coverage but when I received my email for the invoice I seen that I had been charged. I called and tried to get the issue resolved with u hauls customer service but ended up just wasting my time. Also after about 30 minutes into my 8 hour drive the a/c stopped working, so that made for a long ride going down the interstate at 70 mph with both windows down. By the time I got to where I was going my head was absolutely busting from all the noise. I have to say I am absolutely disappointed in my first u haul experience, primarily due to customer support and equipment failure. Seems like I paid a lot of money for nothing but a headache, and when I talked to another u haul employee on the phone when I dropped the truck off at my destination I told her about the a/c and about the warranty and asked if there was anything she could do to compensate me for my troubles she just blew me off. I have no issues with the pickup or drop off locations, they were very nice. Very poor customer service I must say on u hauls end, I will probably be telling others about my experience to save them the hassle.
Derek FI originally placed my rental for Pikeville, KY. When I arrived in PIkeville, the place was closed. I went to two other locations in PIkeville but they were closed. I looked on my account, my reservation had been transferred to Haysi, VA. That is 45 minutes away from Pikeville on terrible roads. I am not happy about this.

WESLEY KPut the reservation where it was supposed to be. We reserved 2 months in advance and did not get our requested place instead we had to drive almost an hour to pick up truck. The place of pick up was great but the uhaul reservation scheduling was terrible.

Jennifer MI returned the trailer on the 8th of June and it was never checked in. The dispatcher contacted me on the 14th in reference as to why I hadn't returned the trailer. I relayed the info and haven't heard back.
Jamie SUnprofessional, unclean, and seemingly unprepared. Truck was filthy with a quarter tank of gas in the middle of nowhere. Cracked windshield on my truck that the store owner didn't document before he left. I'd advise avoiding this location.
David Pwhen i went to pick up the u haul it took over an hour there was a child there that checked me out that had no idea how she was about 14 or 15 maybe. They had a lot of cats in there and the location stunk very bad they had a lot of flies and they kept biting me i had a lot of bites on my legs because i had shorts on. a simple process that should have not taken log at all took a very long time because the person that rented me the u haul was very young and not trained. i will never use this location and will advise other people not to! The service was awful!!!

Woody MOil light was on upon pick up. Added more oil to truck and dipstick was almost smoking. The truck definitely needed to be serviced. A walk through was never conducted and head lights were out of line. Employees were friendly just equipment was what I felt to be unacceptable

Jared HAccording to my estimates, miles should have been around 140 used. However, when I got the email, it said I used about 340 miles. Overall the trip ended up costing me an outrageous $400.

Danny MThe cargo bay was dirty - I must have swept out several pounds of dirt and sand. I ordered both a utility dolly and an appliance dolly, but received neither. Attention to details like these would GREATLY improve customer satisfaction.
