During my transaction, parking Attendant was rude, and threatening. Parking Attendant came out of office threatening me because he was asking me questions and I questioned him for clarity before giving any information because he was intentionally being misleading with information. He come out of the office yelling and threatening me like he wanted to put his hands on me. The Attendant was intentionally unprofessional. Luckily my Husband was their to take control of the situation as I almost called 911 on him for acting as a threat. For further information please call 646 982 7050.

HECTOR BWhen first arriving the staff didn't have the knowledge of one way drop off and basically refused service. I showed the paper work and they finally accepted the drop off. However the next day they charged me an additional $128. I called and complained of the problem, and the only refunded me $ $46, making it a total of almost $300 for less than 24 hours. I put $20 worth of gas before returning the truck, only for them to charge me for gas. I will never return to U-Haul. I'm extremely disappointed in the customer service in the Bronx location.

Glenn ROne thing you can do to improve the user experience is to have the hand truck that customers pay for. I paid $7 for something I never received and when I notified the gentleman who was assisting me, he assured me that the $7 would be refunded since that location does not have hand trucks
Jemell SMy straps to hold the vehicle had came off and I was driving on 95 highway for 6 hours before we realized the car was not properly secured. No one explained the do and don't. I could of killed me and others on the highway. Ugh
VENEESEAMELIA TThis truck had a terrible smell inside. There was no heat in the vehicle. My daughter was cold. Totally unacceptable. Truck should be inspected before being given. Horrible that truck had no heat especially in the middle of the winter.

Manuel AParking garage had an entry clearance lower than the truck height. Had to double park, run in to find the attendant. He was helpful, but I didn't feel like I dropped off the vehicle. 9 hours later I was emailed the receipt. So I don't have to worry anymore. Glad it's over….

Deviene AAlthough checking in following the steps online, when I got to the garage the persona t the entrance did not let me look for my truck. He said he needed confirmation, he took a picture of my ID and used Whatsapp to send it to another person. When I pointed this was strange and that I had already sent my ID photo through a safe portal, the person assisting me got mad and said that's the was they did things. I had to wait one hour after my allotted time to get my truck; which seem to be at another garage down the street also managed by the same person. I had also paid for a dolly for boxes; which was not on the truck by the time I picked it up and eventually never received. Less than ideal experience.

Marvin BI Had the van for 3 hours on 1/15/23 when I looked on my bill on line the next day the parking attendant put that I had the van for two days so my 57 dollars bill turned out to be 200 dollars if you go to this location take pictures of everything cause they r going to put that you dirty the van and charge you and uhaul wasn’t any help when I called them

The person inside the counter really try to work with me but the owner, according to the parking personnel, is a very unprofessional and doesn't know how to give a good costumer service. They made me wait for over 1 hour to get the rental becuase they messed up my reservation and eded up ivercharging. They also tried to blame me for THEIR mistake but got even more mad at me when they couldn't find a way to. I talked to 2 people that were not inside the parking and they obviously doesn't know how to deal with people. Also, I was overcharge for stuff I never took.

The location is a parking lot with only one person so upon returning the truck I had to wait til he parked several cars. Then he didn't bother checking and ended up charging more than expected. I will not go back to this location.

Staff were not well trained on the reservation system kept asking me for a phone number not in the system. i only have 2 phone numbers and both were already there from previous bookings. I have never had an issue with a rental pick-up. I will not be recommending this location

Jennifer OIn the morning when I went to pick the key the guy didn't even check the gas meter and put more then what it actually was. I asked him to change it he didn't do anything and say it's fine will do it when I return it. Then when I went to return it was a different person who I went to handed the key. He was very rude. I told him about the gas meter and asked him what's the process of the return he rudely told me he don't know anything call U-Haul and to figure out by myself. Then when I went to app it showed me I have to take picture of the odometer he refuse to give the key of the tuck. Then after few minutes I received email of the return receipt with extra charge of $17 gas also when I reserved the truck I inputted for 10 mile even though I drive only 6. I didn't even received my money back for the 4 miles also I got charge for gas. That was my first time renting out a Truck from U-Haul so I didn't know all the process. It Wasn't a very good customer service I'll not rent out a truck from here again.

KRYSTEL GI wanted to rent a hand truck with the truck. It was not available at that site and I wasn't told about it in advance. Wasted precious time, money and convenience to solve this problem.

DAVID RAwful. When I originally purchased the vehicle it said I'd be charged $100 plus any amount of mileage I went over (which I kept track of and was fine and aware of) when I got my receipt it says I returned it the next day and was charged over $350. The pick up process was completely online and not a single person to help us navigate this process. I've tried calling multiple times, put on hold for 30+ minutes and then when I've finally got through to someone and explained the issue they would send me to another receptionist or tell me to call a number that never led me anywhere. Extremely disappointed.
