ROBERT MCheck to make sure there is washer fluid before letting the truck out!! I easily could have been killed in this situation. Not good at all.

Grayson GThe truck was great. The location mistakenly charged me for missing equipment AND charged me the difference between the estimate and the actual - double dipped. All told almost $500 for what, with actual mileage should have been $95. While the woman at the location was incredibly helpful acknowledging their mistake, she had to call the regional manager Troy. I have never been so disrespected. He was abusive, talked over me and implied I was lying about the second charge even though I had my bank app open showing his employee the two charges. It is now a week later, my bank has gone into overdraft and I am in serious financial trouble over this. I do not understand why what should have been a 5 minute, "oh! We messed up, so sorry, let us refund you $400" has turned into a week long battle. My bank is working with me but this shouldn't be their problem either. I simply want my money back, happy to pay the $95 for the truck. I suppose disputing the charge with my bank and small claims may be my only recourse at this point. So unfortunate.

However, I couldn't find the amount of gas I needed to return anywhere. It would be helpful to have that information in a more obvious place. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Lillian AThe problem with this weekend, was my son came down from Blackfoot,ID.. We had set up the reservation a week before. Time was Critical! We received the notice of where to pickup the truck. It stated that we could pick up the truck at 10:00 am. We got there at 10 to 10:00 am. The strip mall that the truck was at, it was parked in front of a business that said "The Revered Church of Christi". At about 15 minutes after 10 come, no one had come to open the business! We called the number on the reservation, and the man that answered the phone, told me to give this business another 15 minutes. We had people waiting at my house to help load! At just after 10:30 Icalled U-Haul again! This time a woman answered, I gave all the information AGAIN! The lady told me that the best she could do, was to get another truck, but it would not be available until 3:00 pm, or we could drive it50 miles North, there was a truck that we could rent there. We lost the help that had come to the house, they had no more time available. My son had to stay over another day, I had just had back surgery, and I couldn't help load the furniture. He lost a day of work! Would I recommend U-Haul to anyone? Not on your Life! I have Never experienced more Shitty Attitude than the people that I dealt with that Day!!! Hal Wasden

Patrick SMore attention to detail. I was given contract paperwork for a different serial numbered trailer. I called and asked for a corrected contract be emailed, but never received. Massive confusion and stress thru out the entire rental process. I should have received some form of discount for the time and trouble spent calling and talking to numerous UHaul personnel over course of three days.

Andrea SThe parking for the drop off was not large enough. There were already two trucks there. Making it difficult to drop the trailer aligned with the curb.
Harvey FTruck was damaged prior to my rental, but with mobile check-in there was no way to officially note the damage/upload photos. Luckily I took a photo on my phone of the damage and provided it upon return. I had to also provide the metadata of the photo so the employees could confirm I took the photo before I started driving the truck. Long story short, I was on the hook for prior truck damage (damage I didn't do), simply because the mobile check-in didn't allow me to upload any damage photos. Luckily I bought the Safemove insurance, but if I didn't, I would have been paying for someone else's damage. On top of this, the truck died midway through the move and I had to call roadside assistance to get a new battery. The time it took to fix the truck caused me to lose the movers I had reserved for only two hours, and I had to finish the move myself. Not a single apology from Canyon Storage. A very disappointing experience.

Anthon JOverall very happy with my experience, but the van was dirty. I don't really care, it got the job done, but it smelled like dog food and there was debris in the interior. Again, I am happy with the service, just that there is room to improve.
Neil BDrop off was incredibly easy. I regret not getting the ladies name. She was outstanding. Very personable, friendly and projected the feeling she enjoyed her job. The Pick up person and drop off person were2 of the primary reasons I will go directly to U Haul for any rental needs.
