When I got to the Ace hardware store, I located the first employee that I saw, which just so happened to be I assume the manager. After giving me a look and not saying much at all, I started the conversation by letting him know that I had a reservation for some U-Haul equipment. He replies with, "well, we will see about that" in a sarcastic manner before walking to the register. It was apparent that he was not very familiar with the system and had to make phone calls in order to complete the rest of my reservations so that I can get my equipment. He had no guidance or information for me at all, and had another associate go outside and show me where the equipment was. Once I got the equipment I reserved, I went back inside to ask about dropping the equipment off when I was done with it later that evening. This clearly annoyed this lovely manager even further, and I received a very quick answer. Sensing at this point I definitely wasn't wanted in the store, I left and figured out the answers to my questions on my on. I'm not really sure what this guy's problem was, but he should not be an employee of Ace Hardware, much less the representative of U-Haul. This is the first and only time I've ever used this location and I will definitely not ever be back.

BRIAN WWe got switched to a bigger truck in a further location. No one called to tell us about this as was stated in our emails and text message. Jason Grimes said he would credit us back for a day and no one has honored this as of now 10/14/23. I called Jason and left a voice mail and he has not called back to tell us the final result. The truck was not sweep out. My husband sweep it out and the driver area was not disinfected. With covid and all it should have been thoroughly clean for the next driver.

Rodney GCarnes is great! The mobile check in process, however, is not. I had to call customer service both days to get my truck checked out because of a glitch on uhaul side. Not user friendly.

Gary PNo problems with the pickup location at all. They did great. However, I had a terrible experience with UHaul Customer Service. First, after selecting a truck and pickup location in Birmingham, AL, I was notified that there was no availability at all on my pickup date in Birmingham. The representative changed my pickup date from Saturday, May 29th to Sunday, May 30th. She also mentioned that there was a truck available on our original date in Leesburg; however, I chose at that time to reschedule to Sunday. After speaking with my husband, we decided it would be worth our time to go ahead and travel the 90 miles to Leesburg to pick up the truck on our original date, Saturday, May 29th. I called Customer Service back and the representative advised me that she had changed my reservation to the Leesburg location and I would be receiving an email and text confirmation. I waited for that confirmation and never received it. As a result, I called Customer Service back a third time and spoke to Jermenia. She advised me that the Leesburg truck was never reserved for us! She said there were no notes or anything that I had made that second phone call. I was livid because we were moving the next day. Jermenia was able to find us a truck in Grant, AL, so we drove 2 hours in the opposite direction of our home to pick it up. I feel very strongly that UHaul should have offered some type of discount given the circumstances but none was offered at any time. I would suggest that you update your online reservation system that will tell customers BEFORE they make a reservation where trucks will be available so they don't run into this wild goose chase like we did. Absolutely ridiculous.

LOUIS CDidnt check my trailer in till two mornings after drop off. Even after I called morning after drop off to let them know and was told they will get it. They never did till another uhaul location called them.
Eric EI reserved a 26ft truck from a location near my house but the day before I was to pickup the truck, I was notified that there was a new location to pick it up and it was a 30 minute drive to get to it. Why was I able to reserve the truck from the location near my house? Caused me to have to jump through hoops coordinating rides and times. Not cool
Tracey COur pick up location was 40 miles out of our way. The truck I reserved via phone 3 weeks in advance was given to someone else the day before we were to pick up our truck. To get the sized truck we ordered and needed we had to drive to another city. What was the purpose of making a reservation if there is no Intention to honor it?
