There was an issue with the truck I reserved where the keys were missing. The associate kept a very positive attitude and she was very empathetic. She was a perfect example of customer service. She did everything that she could do to get me into another truck and on my way. This young lady certainly deserves a raise.Deon J.
The carts that I had ordered were not I. The Truck the location to pickup the Truck was in the Ghetto and SCARY!!! I haven't received a refund for my carts that I didn't get or the inconsistence of moving HUGE ITEMS WITHOUT ANY CARTS !!!! I'd NEVER USE U-HAUL AGAINDonald M.

Dropped truck off after hours and lot was dark, gates were closed and locked. Checking the truck in at drop off location, the website was telling us to pull the truck on the lot but again, lot was locked up. Street parking was 1hr only and we didn't feel comfortable leaving it there for fear that it might get towed. We saw the uhaul key drop across the street from the drop off location but no driveway to pull truck in, we would have had to jump a curb. We drove around to make sure there was no drive way and there wasn't. I called the customer service number multiple times and even got hung up on because the guy didn't understand why I couldn;t park it on the . I waited at drop off location on hold and being transferred to other people for about 2hrs! The streets were dark at this time and I did not feel safe. I finally was transferred to a gentleman who was super helpful and instructed us where we could leave the truck and made note in the account of the situation. This drop off experience was the worst experience I've ever had with uhaul.Stephanie J.
The staff was very friendly but store was pretty gross inside, much like the inside of the uhaul van. The van seats and floor were sticky, unsure when the last time it was cleaned.CHRISTOPHER K.

Picked up Uhaul truck was nasty and stinky. But instead of complaining I wiped it down with disinfectant wipes because of the fear of Covid and any other sickness or germ. Got to my pickup location had a hard time trying to lift the back door to load my belongings. Finally after 30 wasted minutes. Loaded the truck then prepared to close the door to drop off at my storage unit before they closed. The door wouldn't close. Called the location with no help or solution given 1800 number. Was on hold 58 mins before filing a roadside assistance claim. A rep came out from tow company sent by uhaul. He was unable to fix the door but was about to get it closed. Had informed the door would be hard to lift because he has the clip the pins from wiring that controls up and down motion of the door.after this was done it was dark and after 8pm so parked the uhaul. The next morning I had to take the truck 30 mins away to have the door replaced. I sat at the uhaul repair shop for 2 hrs in there employee break room since they didn't have an employee waiting room. Finally on the road again to get a unload crew again. Wasted money, time and gas running around with a nasty, stinky poor mataitanced truck. This quick couple hour move turn a 30 hit disasters. The uhaul sent me to this particular dealer and they were not knowledgeable about the uhaul product AT ALL. The person working in the store asked me to pay from my phone because she didn't know how to take my payment or check me out. I asked for help attaching the trailer and no one could assist me. I called uhaul and was on the phone for 45 mins before I connected with anyone. A uhaul rep assured me they would come to my location to assist me. I waited 2 hours no one ever showed. I called uhaul again and again waited. Just to be transferred to the same store. The same representative who said he was in his way now stated he would not becomingâ€¦ and that it was not his fault that I did not know who to attach the uhaul trailer to my vehicle and hung up in my face. This was the worst customer service I had every gotten. I finally figured out how to attach the trailer ON MY OWN and the lights did not work. I again called uhaul back the next day and AGAIN waited to be connected for 1 hour and 5 minutes just to be told to go to another uhaul store. I asked to speak to a manager was never allowed to do that. I asked for corporates number and couldn't be given that. I would not recommend uhaul to my worst enemy!Caysha W.
You could start by having someone actually present at the time of our reservation. Also, this location was on the complete opposite side of town so not remotely close to where we initially reserved our U-haul.Chris B.
The inside of the truck was dirty upon pickup. Also, the air conditioner was broken, which made the long drive very uncomfortable. The people at the pickup location seemed to be having a difficult time with the system.Alandrah B.
Very unprofessional and uncomfortable experience in the rental office. My family and I felt that the staff was more preoccupied with advertising their personal businesses than simply supplying the service we reserved. The office was littered with over flowing trash cans filled with fast food waste. Mask wearing and social distancing was completely ignored. I have rented from U-Haul several times, and it has always been a seem-less and easy process. This time, however, was different. I will never rent from U-Haul again.William M.

This location should not be used for drop off or pick up. There is a gated lot across the street from 'office'. It is on a busy street and you don't see it easily. It is not a pull through nor is there room to turn around. You drop trailer off and someone pushes it so you can back around it, on to the busy street.PATRICIA C.

Have to walk thru knee high grass and weeds to get to truck. Key box location is bad. Can't see any reason for this location to exist with many full service locations in the area. Just my opinion.Pat R.
The drop-off location in Kansas City was obviously a UHaul drop point but I could not find anyone on the lot to help me. I finally pulled the trailer into the lot and left it there. At that point I called UHaul to explain that I could not find anyone to help me but that the trailer had been properly checked by myself and responsibly dropped in the lot. Place looked to be an auto body repair shop? Moving forward I would only want to pick-up and drop-off at an official UHaul facility. Overall, the pick-up and drop-off experiences were extremely frustrating. Come on UHaul, you should be able to provide better customer service in this day and age.Brady C.

Never got furniture pads and was told to drive miles away to get them, to find that location was closed. Waste of time and money that I paid for. When I returned the keys I was asked if I was happy about my bill. I said NO. Never heard from anyone until they charged me the full price. How do you charge me for invisible furniture pads and make me drive extra miles (aka extra $) just so I don't have any pads so I'm forced to buy some at a store because i don't want my $500 furniture to get damaged. Never buying from U-Haul again unless this is resolved.Kaleb S.

I created my reservation for Saturday May 9th to pick up at 12:30. The facility was closed. Would have been nice to know before flying from Texas to Kansas City. Someone eventually came over and got us a truck. I ordered blankets and a dolly. Nothing was in the truck. I have use U-Haul many times but have never been so disappointed. What made this so bad is I was trying to move a daughter home after losing her job, and fly to Virginia the next day to see my dying mother. I would fully expect to receive at least half of my cost back. I would never recommend Cars Now KC LLC. It is in a crappy part of town and it was a shitty experience. The drop of in North Richland Hill Texas is Great as usual. Very courteous and professional staff.Reuben M.
