We had a reservation for 10 AM we showed up at around 930 AM. There was no employee at this location they were supposed to open at 930. We waiting there until 10 AM along with several other people. No one showed. I called several phone numbers and finally got through to their emergency line and got patched in to manager. The manager said they would call me back and they didn't. Finally someone showed up they were not familiar with the system. We got our uhaul an hour late - I was paying for help during that lost time. Moving is stressful enough and this added to the chaos. I'll likely go with a different option when I have to get my items out of storage.WILLIAM K.

I used a truck for one day and returned it after hours. I didn't look at my phone all day until I got home and discovered a text from uhaul saying I would owe a $20 "courtesy fee" for after hours check in. This should not have been sent, it should have been discussed prior to my signing the contract. I had a negative feeling about my rental experience until the next day when I saw an email with the final bill with no "courtesy fee" included. My final feeling about the rental is positive but this should be corrected. Your customers will like you better if you don't text hidden fees after the transaction is completed.Roy C.

My whole UHaul Experience with the particular rental Left me totally disenchanted with your company. I was overcharged, despite your on vehicle advertising, and then double charged by the receiving company that your website encouraged me to use. What a total rip-offJohn F.
This location was awesome but i had been booked at a different location in Arlington for 9 AM on that Sunday morning but no one ever showed up and I had to go to this other Arlington location. I lost a lot of time and was paying someone labor to help me so wasted quite a bit of money by having to change locationsThe other Arlington location is terrible! Everything went wrong. The location was changed the day before moving and the size of the truck was changed. I had originally scheduled to have it dropped off in Maplevalley but had to return it to Arlington which is 100 miles from the original spot. The car had stains on the dashboard and smelled like smoke. I was charge for two days for a project that I could've done in one headache got my equipment I ordered. I will never Use U-Haul again. The movers are hired to do the job said the same thing that U-Haul is notorious for bad customer service. They recommended Penske And said that they had their act together Way more than U-Haul. The customer service representative that I spoke with were unhelpful And unapologetic for the grief that they caused.Brian L.

Equipment appeared well maintained (checked fluids, lights brakes, etc. before leaving lot) but was not as clean as i think it could have easily been. There was some mud and bugs on the outside, a 4min spraying with a garden hose would have made it look a little nicer, and the cargo area needed a quick sweeping, the inside of the cab had some soda spray on a couple places, not horrible but noticeable.( I cleaned it). The alignment on the truck was slightly off, hand a tendency to pull left, loaded or unloaded. Staff at this location was mixed for Uhaul rental experience, but still very helpful and pleasant to interact with. "Uhaul doesn't guarantee anything" and "its the only one available" (many miles away) line from the CSR at corporate/scheduling was really the only real negative part (i was expecting it after reading other reviews), other than that, overall a decent experience, I would use Uhaul for a 5th time.Devin S.

The truck was 1 hour away, each way, from my preferred pick-up location, and was not available until 10am the next day. I had movers coming at 8:30am. Uhaul added an additional day so I could drop everything and catch a ride up to the truck that afternoon. Who pays for that inconvenience, time and gas? The truck was dirty. It was also scratched in several places and the front bumper was dented, and none of the damage was marked on the online report forum as previous damage. It took more time to take photos and report the damage. Also, the equipment I rented (dolly and bumpers) were not in the truck and the person on duty would not honor the rental agreement by providing those things even though he had bumpers available in store and admitted the dolly he had on hand in his lobby had come out of the truck, however, he would not permit me to take it one way. He told me I would be billed at the end when I dropped the truck and could sort it out then.MELANIE N.

I expected the vehicle to be cleaned, especially the cab area. Especially in our current times concerning the COVID -19 I had to wipe down the interior with antibacterial wipes as it was quite dirty and dusty with obvious residue from previous rentals. Tough left turn to access the facility. You will need to go to the light 400 East and do a Uturn. The 10 foot truck makes the Uturn easily. Bigger trucks, good luck. Nice facility otherwise.Tim K.

Do not rent a U-Haul from this office. There are other places in the immediate area to rent U-Haul's. I have spent an enormous amount of time trying to get their overcharges corrected (over charges due to their mistake - they gave us a different truck than they put on our order, ours being a smaller rig with a completely different odometer reading). The U-Haul company themselves have even reached out to this office to get the charges corrected and assured me they would be fixed but I've just received the invoice from Cascade Self Storage via email (after turning the truck in four days ago) and the charges are more than double what they should be. Now I have to call the U-Haul company again or the field manager to get involved to have this finally fixed once and for all. I do not recommend Cascade Self Storage for U-Haul rentals. Note that none of this would have happened had they been in the office when I went to return the truck instead of closing for a one hour lunch at 10:30 am (one hour after they opened).George B.
I had requested a truck with a Utility dolly to move my washer/dryer. And told Her I had my own moving blankets. After inspecting the back of the truck, there wasn't a dolly or any blankets. When I told her she said she would remove the fees for both of them. (Total: $10) . Also, I had stopped at the SAFEWAY gas station and put fuel in the truck before returning the truck @ 8:20 pm almost 12 hours early. And was still changed for 5,5 gal. of fuel ($26,18). Also she DID NOT say there would be a $20 fee if I DID NOT use the UHAUL APP and did not explain that when using the app to return the truck you had to take a photo of the mileage and fuel. So when I went to use the app at home to return the truck. It was too late. And was not able to use it. Rental for 6 Blankets $5 Rental fee Utility dolly $5 Fuel 5,5 gallons for $26,18 TOTAL OVER CHARGED: $36,18 + Tax PLUS RETURN FEE: $20 = $56,18+ Tax I love this Facility. I have used had a storage unit previously and I currently have a 10x 20 storage unit at this location. It's clean and the office staff has always been friendly and very helpful. My past and current experiences with uhaul billing seems to be an issue. I have used uhaul at least 4 times in the past year and a half. All with different dealers. All having billing issues. The inside of the truck was dirty and I had to sweep it out, a utility dolly was already on the truck and I am now being charged for 2. Seems like they dont actually inspect the trucks and I should be credited the $2/ cleaning fee, considering I had to do it myself.
