This location like to charge cleaning fee if you leave a can of pop or a empty bag the truck smell like smoke they did not wipe down the truck and they charged me 25 dollars for clean charge for whatJason W.

I drove only 14 km and on the bill it stated 89 cents per km yet I was charged over 20 $for mileage. Gas tank was less than I was told on initial bill. Very poor service. Dishonest.Chris L.

Next time I rent a vehicle I will make sure to take a photo of the gas gage. I put 8 $- worth of gas in immediately before returning the van. The rental agreement indicated that I should put 5,7 L of gas in the tank, yet on the receipt you are still charging me over 9 $-. After putting gas in, the gage showed slightly more than when I got the van. The rental agreement was obviously marked incorrectly. My loss for not double checking, but I am not happy about it. In addition there was nobody there when I returned the van around 4PM. I would have preferred to have someone check the van in my presence.anne L.

I needed to know what kind of hitch receiver and height I needed, luckily I found on a forum somewhere that the trailers have a rise of 18 inches, this info should have been conveyed to me earlier, the poor guy at U-Haul had no idea, it could have been dangerous if I just used the ones that U-Haul sold which were not the right size for my carfrankie S.

It's not this location it's UHAUL as a company. Two weekends in a row I rent a truck and BOTH times my reservation gets changed!!!! The second time cost WAY more then it should because you changed the location far from my home so I had to pay the extra kilometres. Was disappointed that I booked a 20 foot truck only to get a call the day before to say they would only be able to offer me a 15. I had to get friends to move the rest of my things. However the guy who I dealt with was very pleasant and I am suppose to get a cheque in the mail fir the inconvenience so we will see if it comes.Shelly M.

I the van that I rented was clean but not very clean, it could have been swept out a bit more and there was a few pieces of garbage in the back. A physical review of the vehicle before taking it would have made me feel confident of the rental.EDWARD G W.
I had originally booked pickup for 7am using 24/7. Unfortunately it was changed to manual pickup for 9am as. Customer service was very helpful and changed the return time to reflect the 2 hours I could have lost. Overall my experience was great. Friendly and helpful.BRENDA E M.

Although the vehicle was 7 years old, it should have been cleaned properly in the cab, especially in the Age of the Virus It was filthy in the cab. Also the drivers side door lock mechanism was seized up. Had to unlock from passenger side and crawl across. Doesn't anyone check these things.Robert C.

Have the booked equipment ready. The truck has to be cleaned. The cabin had beer smelling and i found beers bottles on the flor. The truck was dirty.HECTOR ROLANDO B.
We brought our own sanitizing equipment for the truck's interior as we had no guarantee this had been done as a part of any COVID-19 protocol. Also, the app we used for check in and return did not allow pictures to be taken so we had to redirect to the website (something to work on for Uhaul as a company, not location specific). The clerk we had to deal with as a result of the technology failing was very polite and professional. Would definitely use this location again.Michael L.

Attendant needs to wear a mask at all times. Dolley that I requested wasn't at this location. I had to drive to other location to pick up a dolley I requested when I booked. Trucks needs to be clean, specially during pandemic time. It was disgusting inside the driver cabin. It rained during the night and my stuff that was inside the truck got wet! I was scared to drive the truck because there was a loud noise coming from the wheel. Luckily it was a short drive.Henrique C.

The 9' cargo van served its purpose for the move and drove well which was great because I had to drive over 800km in one day. The issues I have was that the van was completely filthy on the inside where the driver and passenger sit. Also, a very alarming situation happened literally 5 minutes after I picked up the vehicle. When I got on the highway directly after picking up the vehicle at Dunlop St. a piece of the black plastic trim mounding above the back door fell off the van and flew on to the highway narrowing missing hitting the front end of an 18 wheeler truck. I immediately exited the highway and the first available offramp which was Duckworth, and called the gentleman that I rented the van from. He told me to keep going if the truck was still drivable. I found this to be quite alarming because that piece of molding coming off the way it did on the highway could have caused an accident. The molding had clearing been loose because I could hear it rattling on the roof before it came off.ROBYNE F.
Especially during the pandemic but really every time a truck is returned, I feel it should be wiped down & swept out. I understand there's a responsibility for the customer to return the truck clean. However no one is and it's in my opinion an important part of the businesses image. Otherwise the young men working in the office were very polite, accommodating and efficient. I was in and out in no time. No issues with my reservation and the truck worked no issues. I am puzzled by other negative reviews? I was a bit apprehensive based on what I read but my experience was nothing short of fantastic! Those negative comments must have come from jerks that cannot be pleased or they brought the bad situation on themselves..... I had a super experience and I used them 3 days in a row at the busiest time of the month! Keep up the great work!Laurie A.

The office was at one address, the trailer was at another address. Trailer had broken light connection wire, had to use my own, also there was a light with a broken wire that did not work, i was already pinned up and would have been a nightmare to return to the office to show the employee. Also the passanger side fender was bent, and the platform was bent, to the point were you could not slide the tire straps around. I took the trailer anyways.JASON M W.

Need a better system for payment and returns. I was told I could pa with my debit/vis and when went to return the truck I was told that I would hae to wait in my vehicle until the employee could get to the truck and come back to the office. I gave a credit card as it seem to be hard to use the visa/debit as he said that a deposit would be needed. I also don't like the idea that a cell phone is used to take pictures now the employee has access to everyones drivers licenceJASONDEREK T.
Please CLEAN the van before you rent it! There were used masks in the door wells and old contracts rental papers and trash from other people left behind. On return of the vehicle, I was not treated in a professional manner. The employee kept looking and gesturing to my adult son who was sitting in the waiting area. It seemed that the employee did NOT want to talk to a female. It was so RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! After all I was the one who produced my drivers license and I was the one who was paying for the rental. NOT IMPRESSED! I was also overcharged for gas! I was told that there was 3/4 tank of gas when I left. I took a pic of the dash odometer and gas meter at the time of leaving with the vehicle and a pic after arriving back to drop it off. I filled the tank to 3/4 tank and was told that I was a tick under. Then was charged another 9.00. I had pics to prove that the tank was the same. It seemed unfair but just a money grab for them. NOT IMPRESSED! Also, my son and I cleaned the entire van inside and outside by removing all of the previous trash and wiping down all surfaces with disinfectant. We washed the cab floor and the cargo floor with disinfectant and sprayed the exterior down and removed all dirt from the exterior body and tires/wheels. We left the vehicle in pristine shape compared to how we received it. I think that we did our duty by cleaning the van during Covid times but were not treated very well, hence, my below average rating.AANN B.

I was told my rate would be adjusted as i planned to return the truck one day early by your employee in person with a witness and then found out that wasn't possible and j&p variety. The van rented on Mar 28th was clean, excellent condition. The van rented on Mar 24th was dirty inside and out, and in poor condition (rattling).MURIEL L.
States in the contract truck must be cleaned upon return. Why should I have to pick up a dirty truck with water bottles empty chip bags and used face masks shoved under and behind the seat. Should the mud not be clean out of the back of the truck? How about having the truck I ordered prepared for me? Or how about a discount because now I am forced to make more trips with a smaller vehicle at the same price. Vehicle needs help as the inside of the cab sounds like someone blowing a whistle constantly. The hard shift on the transmission causing the load to shift and things to move around even after they have been tied down. Horrible experience. Will never use your company again. Will never recommenced your service. Will go out of my way to make sure any family or friends do not use your vehicles or services.... it's Covid! At least insure that the inside of the cab is cleaned so I am not picking up an old face mask from someone else.
