Plus encore, j'ai pu appeler Ã la centrale U-Haul pour effectuer un changement de derniÃ¨re minute pour un camion de 20 pieds, et le monsieur qui m'a rÃ©pondu s'est montrÃ© extrÃªmement sympathique et a su rÃ©gler tous mes soucis en un rien de temps. The lady who served us was very nice and knowledgeable but as far as vehicle it only had a half tank of gas, not snow brush and blankets were flung into the back of the truck and I'm told should be in a clean bag as some had debris in them when we opened them for use. So rather than making it to the Quebec/Ontario border with a full tank of gas and where it's $1,28 a liter I had to stop for gas in Sherbrooke to top up the tank where it's at 1,49 a liter which makes a big difference in paying for fuel. Lastly because I had to go get the vehicle away from where I was supposed to pick it up on Dunant street which is a 1 kilometer drive from where we were moving our son from we added 10 kilometers to the vehicle before we left and now I went over by about 15 Kilometers I have to pay and extra $6 which isn't much but just the principal of the issueTim R.

I made my reservation in advance and still got my pickup location and drop off location changed, everything tellement me I had to call another number, which I had to try and call 5 different times before I got to someone and before getting transfered to the appropriate department. I then had to drive way further to pick up and drop off the truck, for finally being charged for extra mileage even though I went straight from my location the the next one. Just a lot of hassle for nothing. This is not the locations fault, just Uhaul in generalDanica F.

The problem is that the site and the lady on the phone tells you there's a appliances lift available at the location, but at the place there's none even if you reserved it. The trailer's floor was really oily, but I didn't realize it until I was home using it and slipping on it. Not that big a deal, but afterward, I cleaned it really good and return it, but I was charged an extra fee of 15$ for cleaning!! Not happy.Hugues M.
Worst experience of my life !! The application on the web is very hard to use, the store to talk to people is never open, people there gives me false informations and than i got charge for it. Nobody tells you where to put the keys when the store is close. I wanted to talk to someone on the phone and wait 24 minutes, i end the call because nobody was anwsering. Now i got the bill with two periods charge even if i got it for one day. They refound me like i paid 160$ in deposite but i paid 200$ in deposite. I am very dissapointed with the service of Uhaul. Never going with them again for a moving truck and will never refer it to anyone. Moving in general is a big day and Uhaul juste make it worst.VÃ©ronique P.

Le propriÃ©taire me dit qu'il est absolument certain qu'il Ã©tait Ã la moitiÃ©, sans preuve. Il dÃ©cide de me faire payer l'entre-deux. AprÃ¨s avoir communiquÃ© avec le service Ã la clientÃ¨le (trÃ¨s bon service), ils me confirment qu'avec les photos prises au dÃ©part qu'il Ã©tait au 3/8. Ils m'ont remboursÃ© en s'excusant. I had some trouble finding the truck at first, since it wasn't in the place pictured on the self check-in portal. Then, when i called the number provided when clicking the "i can't find my truck" option, i spoke to a man who was rude and unhelpful and who just transferred me without warning to the location where I was renting the truck, which was pointless since I was already there and there was no one working there that day, which was why I was using the self check-in in the first place. i eventually did find the truck and everything went smoothly from there.Jeffrey P.
To give more information to the customer before hand for the validation process for the autonomous pick-up process. The compagny had problem reaching my alternate contacts and we had to wait a good 30-40 minutes before resolving the issue and being able to use the truck. Fortunately, the live chat with the customer service was quite helpful to resolve the issue and extend our rental for the loss of time.Samuel C.

Have someone who knows how to welcome a customer. It was an older man who served me when I arrived who was not pleasant at all. One of the tires was missing air. The auto-transmission of the truck was not shifting properly some of the time. Straps were not supplied and could not rent any. Would have had to buy the vendor's only option, a pack of straps for $30 = Tx.John L.

I ordered my truck online for Saturday from 8am to 8pm. I received a call from this location because their store is closed on Saturday and I had to pick up the truck before 4pm on Friday. I asked if I had to return the truck for 8pm on Saturday and the employee confirm to me that nothing changed on my reservation. I returned the truck Saturday at 3:37pm and I was very surprised to see that I was charged for an extra day for the truck and the dolly. It costs me an extra 40$. I called the next morning and waited 45 minutes before talking to a representative in the US who redirected my call to a Quebec employee. This employee confirmed to me that my request was taken into charge by a coordinator and I was supposed to receive a call I the next 2-3 days. This was last Monday and I still haven't received a call. I waited before submitting my feedback because I was pleased with the equipment and your system for checking in and out. It was very user friendly. However, I am very disappointed concerning the extra fees and the after-sales service I received.Justin-Mikael F.

Business not open for day of reservation. Truck had been used to transport livestock and was not cleaned; full of hay and smelled of barn. I had to clean it myself before it left the lot. Establishment did not call to say they were closed until the day before and I had to get the keys in advance, causing other problems. Really unprofessional.Shawn W.

We had a major problem with our reservation. Your system gave me a reservation to a spot where there's no U-Haul trucks anymore... Not the spot mentionned above. We had to call in a hurry at 7:15 in the morning to be able to have a van. Fortunately, there was one available that morning, but we could have been in serious trouble, we HAD TO move that day, and we had no van in the first place! I will never ever use U-Haul for a moving van in the future, it was way to stressful.Julien D.

To start with, i had a reservation for Sunday morning. #25346421. When i got there the dealer wouldn't let me leave with the trailer because the Uhaul internet site was down. This was at location Stebenne. Tried to call Uhaul but the system kept hanging up. Monday morning i finally got in touch with someone who relocated my reservation at the Lennoxville location. When i got there the Uhaul internet site was again down. Wasn't a problem. They did me a written contract and i left with the trailer. Wy couldn't the first guy on Sunday do the same thing??? Anyway, i paid for the trailer but i aim expecting to get credited with your 50$ guarantee. Lenoxville dealer was great. Rockforest dealer was an ass-h**l.Jean B.

The self check in process was surprisingly simple, considering it was my first time. I was a little disappointed that it made me take a photo of my drivers license - why couldnt i have done this ahead? it took long and it was very cold, so taking a photo is tough. There is also no table or anything to use, so i had to put my stuff on the ground to take photos. A little outdoor check in area next to the drop box would be helpful with a table and chair.Anrick J.

Nous avons eu deux pneus dÃ©gonflÃ©s (flat). L'Ã©quipement n'avait clairement pas Ã©tÃ© vÃ©rifiÃ©. Je ne ferai plus jamais affaire avec cette compagnie : le service Ã la clientÃ¨le est horrible et les employÃ©s nous mentent et sont dÃ©sobligeant. Si vous souhaitez avoir un remboursement pour quelque chose, n'appelez surtout pas le service Ã la clientÃ¨le, il s'agit d'une grosse perte de temps. I don't like last minute requests, such as being asked out of the blue for a name and phone as a reference like it was the case for this rental (what is the point anyway). I would have preferred to be addressed in English since the reservation was made in English, but that is not a deal breaker.
