Over all the truck was great ,was a little concerned after the fact of driving away from the rental location realizing the worker did not do a walk around inspection with us ,a hand truck was left in the back .

When I picked my uhaul it had no ac. My 2 year old, dog, cat, and myself were burning up. It was hard to keep hydrated since the water in the water bottles would get hot within 30 min or less. The owner failed to check the uhaul before renting it out to me. He told me I could wait until Friday to get another one, go to Albuquerque to get it fixed, or when I arrived at my destination, they could refund me the rental fee. I could not do the first two since I had stage arrangements made and I had told my landlord I would move by Wednesday. When I arrived at my location, they told me it was supposed to be the location where I picked up the uhaul, who was supposed to take care of the situation. I was upset. I could have been okay if it was just me. The fact that my son and pets were overheated, triggered me.

This is the worst move that I've ever had in my life. Probably 20-25 times. I reserved a truck several days ahead of time. No trucks available at my location. Had to drive 50 miles to pick up truck. Had to leave my car and trailer for 2 days while I loaded the truck. The attendant was great, and insisted that this was the correct size truck for my 2 bedroom apartment. It was not even close to being large enough. The truck was too SMALL! I had to throw away or give away some furniture and personal items because the truck wasn't large enough. It'll cost $2-3000 to replace the couch, table and chairs, and other items that I had to leave. When I returned to pick up the trailer and load my car, there was a different attendant. He did not know what he was doing. He couldn't even guide me in backing up the truck to the trailer. Then he expected ME to crawl under the car and hook up the chains around the axles. I'm 63 years old and not in the best of health. There's no way that I could crawl under the trailer in the rocks and dirt and crap.

The only problems encountered, were with MY eqipment. My trailer light pigtail was shot! The held the trailer for me for three extra hours!

We were double billed $141.65. Called them within 3 hours and was told it had something to do with reserving online but Chavez Plumbing and Supply could not fix it. That the bank could reverse the charge or I could call the main billing department. I fail to see why-mid move-I should have to stop everything and take care of this. The occurred on 1/16/19 and it is now 1/21/19. The bank is NOT responsible for taking care of it and they have done nothing.
