Initial reservation was for a 26' Truck. I was notified the next day that it wasn't available and had to accept a smaller 20' truck at a different location. The afternoon before moving, I discover on my own that the 20' truck wasn't available either. Once again, had to accept an even smaller 15' truck last minute. No appliance dolly on the smaller truck. Unable to checkin to the storage either from the uhaul app so went elsewhere for storage

At the same time didn't feel you should get a bad review because Ken is a Jack-ass and uses my email address ALL OF THE TIME! I get tired of getting so many of his emails!!! If you see him again tell him to STOP!!! Or if you have a phone number for him, call him and ask for an updated REAL email address and that Katie doesn't appreciate him using her email address!!!!

Not the sites fault but the requirements of the app's fault! This was my first time and it was overwhelming on the app! I would do it again, but I don't want to experience that again! The staff on the location were on point, informative, and very nice! I'm thankful for them!

LaDonna SYour return app didn't seem to work with me, but the proprietor at the Chesterfield location had previously told my wife to just drop off the truck (on a Sunday afternoon) and leave the key in the drop box. We did that and it was very simple.
Rick BTruck was not clean at all, key was not in a lock box, it was in the cargo area with a lock on the roll up door that was frozen shut. Customer service was AWFUL on 12/24 when I picked up the truck. Condescending, like I didn't know what I was doing. When I told her what was happening she basically acted like I wasn't telling her correctly. She was just rude and not helpful at all. I will not use uhaul ever again because of that customer service rep alone.

Joseph MI was charged for an extra day even though I turned the truck in. Also I booked the truck at a certain location that was near by due to mileage and that reservation was changed to another location that was further away and I had to still pay that mileage. I am not happy about that at all.

Jennifer P | RéservationI had ordered a uhale for June 14 at 2:00 pm from Weatherford Automotive at 515 Meridian Street in Anderson. We had troubles finding the place since it does not look like it's picture on google maps. The place looked rundown and there was no parking since they rent there parking to this car place next to them. There was also a tow truck parked there blocking most of the entrance since this place also does car repairs. Once I finally got in there I was told that they did not have my uhale and they had to look up my information since they don't update there computers which took a long time. Then I was told that it could be 4 to 5 hours before they could get me a uhale but they would give me a discount. I had researved a uhale for 2 pm but did not get one until 5 pm from Chesterfield storage. The building was nice and so was the worker, however his computers were down so he had to do everything on his phone. I was not given a discount since the other building did not say anything to him about a discount and was told to call corporate and get credited. By the time we left with the uhale it was after 6 pm due to the computers being down there and having to do all the paperwork off his phone. Before we left we took pictures of the uhale and found the inside was dirty, scratched up, and mud spots. So before we could use it we had to clean the inside. So we were not able to start loading my stuff into the uhale until past 7 pm wich put use behind and also we then had no helpers since they had to leave by 5 pm.

Theresa MMy physical experience with my rental was superb. There was a strange difference between the rate that I agreed to when I reserved the vehicle and what I was actually billed. The billing went in my favor by one dollar, but I think that I should have received some explanation as to why that change was made.

CHRISTOPHER LMake sure the trailer is in good condition and the lights are working! We had to have a repair guy come out to fix the problem which cost us over a 3 hour delay. Would expect to be compensated for this but can't find anyone who will try to help with this issue. Have used UHaul for years but this experience has changed my mind on you being my first choice.

Privacy R | Premières impressionsI dropped the truck off the night before it was due. There was a snow storm coming and I knew that would be the best bet. They told me that there was a drop off key box. There was no lighting so you could not see it. The sign was located across the street from where the building was actually located. Again it was not lit up. Very confusing other than when I talked to the person on the phone seemed very nice and helpful when I asked for roadside assistance. But I do still recommend an easier way to see it at night. Especially when you're coming from out of state and not familiar with the area.

JODI SI was charged $3 for driving more miles on a one way rental that I was over charged to begin with. The reason I was over on my mileage for a one way rental is because the truck is a gas guzzler. I had to go put $5 more dollars in to get back to the line I needed to return it. I drive around 200 miles at most and it cost me $100 in gas. What rip off. Shouldn't be aloud to put garbage on the street for rent like that. Budget, Penske, Ryder is who I will call the next time I need a truck!
