truck ran great. pickup was easy and quick. didn't realize truck had no ramp.
Ray MThere was significant confusion at the location when I went in to pick up my rental on the 8th. The clerk kept saying they did not have the truck, when it was sitting in the lot. He called the manager who was also confused and kept telling the clerk that my reservation pickup was for Friday at 8:00 AM and not Thursday at 8:00 PM even though I kept showing them the U-Haul reservation. We finally worked it out and I was able to rent the 15' truck for 2 days. When I returned the truck on Saturday at 4:55 PM, the clerk to a picture of my phone showing the fuel level and mileage and said he would check it in and I would receive the receipt via text within an hour. When no receipt was received by Sunday, I called the location and they did not answer and sent them a message which they did not return. I then called U-Haul, who also attempted to call, and no answer even though the location was open. On Monday, the truck still was not entered as returned, so I called U-Haul again and U-Haul attempted to call the location with no luck, and then sent a message to the location. Later, then the receipt never came, I called U-Haul again and U-Haul send a message to the district U-Haul manager to investigate. The location finally checked the rental truck in on Tuesday morning at 9:13 AM. However, they charged me for 4 days of rental; Thursday - Tuesday. I had to call U-Haul again and explain the situation, which they had to confirm, Finally, U-Haul would refunded me the 2 extra days of the rental charge during the time the location received and held the truck, but did not process the return. Never heard form the location at all, so no, I would never recommend this location. Other than the hassle of initiating all of the correspondence, the U-Haul representatives were very courteous.

Brooks GThe mobile app is not good, kicked me out several times, had to finalize things with the station owner to get things completed. Signed up for a dozen quilts/ blankets but owner only had three and they were dirty, but owner charged me for a dozen. Please discount for this shortage.
Tim MThe truck was in good condition. Thats about all i can say that is positive... The app took forever... The process was way to slow ... it felt like the onus was on me to do everything. Absolutely no customer service... NONE.
James RThe woman at the location was friendly and extremely helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure my experience was positive after having issues with the web check in process. It was taking an excessive amount of time to confirm my rental and the chat was completely non responsive and she made sure I was taken care of! This is my go to location from now on.

Stanley HOriginally booked a 9' van from a location down the street but when we arrived the location was closed. Drove up the rode to the chevron location and the attendant was able to get us a 10' truck on short notice. Really appreciate the customer service!

Barry MUpon trying to return the truck I was asked to go back and take a picture of the fuel and mileage only for the employee to take a picture of the picture I took. The employee did not seem to care about the condition of the truck. Furthermore, there were no signs posted indicating it was a return place for Uhauls.
FRANCISCO SThe location was conveniently located, however the store was not open at the appointed time in order to obtain the truck key; waited 30 mins over the schedule pickup time. The truck was very dirty inside and out; needed to be vacuumed on the floor and the seats as well as be wiped of dirt, sand annd dust everywhere. With concerns of COVID, it definitely was not even disinfected. Will not use that location again for a U-Haul truck.

William SUsing the app takes too long and requires way to many verifications. All that should be needed is a driver's license. I don't even need a passport to fly. Why should I need one to rent a truck?
Afshaun HThe truck was filthy from the previous driver. There was sand cover the dashboard. When we turned on the defrost to defog the windshield all the sand on the dashboard began to blow all over. If the truck was this dirty and was rented to me. I am certain it was not wiped down for COVID precautions.
Nathalie TAgain a very strange experience. Dropped of the vehicle at a gas station with a guy who was helping a friend. No paperwork. You text a picture of mileage and gas and no one even acknowledges it. Guy behind the counter has no idea about anything. Strange to just leave the truck in hopes it is not a scam. Will think twice before using uhaul again! Not over professional or friendly for that matter!
Karen SThe people working the counter at the gas station were not , did not seem like they were very into the uhaul side of their business. All communication was with someone not on site , over the phone. No instructions were given.

Renata RLocation manager was very friendly and accommodating. Did not have all equipment though. Asked for furniture pads and didn't have all requested. Had to call several locations to locate more pads.. Truck was not cleaned out before we got it. Overall fine but inconvenient.
Stephen WThe pre registration online concept is a good idea. The issue I had was in having to speak to a store clerk who then called the actual person conducting the rental. Because the clerk mispronounced my name, even after reading it caused a delay. When I spoke to the person on the phone completing the reservation, they too had problems with finding it because she did not listen to the pronunciation or spelling. It is not an uncommon or non English name. After all of this, they have to send you a link to then download a picture of your DL. Yes. This is a tech world but only if you choose it. My primary phone is a flip phone. It is my phone and does what I want it to do. Please don't assume that everyone is following your tech demands. Fortunately there was a work around and the rest of the rental went fine.

Ralph RThe worse experience I have ever had. My reservation was for 2:30 pm when I got there which I was on time I noticed there was no van coming to find out the van wasn't returned. I got a call and he said that the people haven't returned it yet and if I could come back once he calls me. So I had to waste more gas drive back home and wait which was a big inconvenience because I was on a tide schedule. He calls and says I can just use the moving truck instead then calls again and states the van will be there by 4 pm. I get there and the Van is in horrible nasty condition with trash in the back and front and pieces of food etc I took photos of. I had to end up cleaning it up first before being able to transport any personal belongings in it. This is unexcetable. I let the guy know at pick up that it was disgusting and that there was a bunch of trash I asked for a discount one because the van wasn't there when I made the reservation which caused alot of issues with my plans and stress and two because it was in disgusting condition. He responded that there can't be discount applied. This is horrible customer service at leased give me a discount for having to deal with all this on top of having to move. Very disappointed

JAYMI DIt was quite a stressful experience with the truck rental I had this last Sunday 3/6 when I came to the pick-up location at Chevron 887 Broadway - Oviedo, FL at 8am and the truck I booked was not available. I had to wait over an hour for the previous renter to return the truck. The renter was clumsy and had the truck gas tank empty and forgot to bring his wallet to either pay off the rental or to fill up the truck tank. In order to prevent even more delays the Uhaul manager/representative released the truck to me and told me I would receive a $60-dollar credit due to the empty tank that I could use to fill up the one. I ended-up losing one-hour of moving personeel I had hired and when I took the truck to fill up the tank I spent $125 which was more than the $60 dollar credit. At the end of my rental I filled up the tank again in order to be more accurate on my actual gas use which I paid $42 for. At the moment of the truck drop-off I gave a call back to the Uhaul responsible person for the location (321-244-3033) and explain the situation about the the cost different and he told me that he could not reimburse more than $60.00, which for me did not make any sense, since I did what is supposed to be the obvious and more clearer to get exactly my use since I did not get a truck with full tank at the pick-up time. Therefore I filled up the tank before using it and returned back with a full tank. The U Haul location representative/manager told me that he would call me back on Monday (3/7/2022) to get the situation resolved as he was not in town, however, I haven't received any call and have my transaction receipt by email with no correction on the additional amount I spent with the fuel.
