I received so many emails and texts from Uhaul I quit looking at them. It turns out the drop off location changed notification was in one text. I dropped the trailer at the original assigned drop off location and it was accepted but not recorded. I turned the trailer in a day early but was charged a day late fee as I dropped it in the wrong previously assigned location. Penske is looking better all the time.

I would not recommend this location to anyone. The uHaul representative didn't come out to hook up the trailer for 20 min and when it was time, he didn't have the right tools or the capability to lift the trailer to hook it up.

My first time using a auto transport trailer and is one of the best trailer y'all can use ever, that was a prefect one to pick up the truck I needed to pick up thank you so much and I'll use it again next time

Personnel who attempted to help setup of trailer at arrival were not well versed and set up wrong. I corrected it prior to initial departure. Upon return of trailer no one was at the front desk of establishment. I had to seek others at skating rink who did not work there to find the employees. Waited for 10 mins prior to seeking help. Overall would never recommend Chilled Ponds in Chesapeake, VA for a Uhaul and would rather drive a further distance to avoid them.

I got in and out, and the employees were first rate. I've been to UHaul stores where I waited in line over 1 hour to check in, and then wait another hour for my truck and trailer to be ready for me. Thank you U-haul for making a detachment where people can get in and out and in less than 15 minutes, your big stores are a hassle, but I'd come back here again no Issues..

Training to the new employees to have the uhaul prepared for clients who are going to mobile pick up the truck. The truck was not ready for pick up when i arrived. Keys were not in locker, AND employees were not in store until 2 hrs later. I got my keys (found) around 11am and the truck was not sanitized or clean, and moving equipments were missing, so i had to go to another location to pick up the missing equipment. Regional manager had to come to clean and get things going and i appreciated it. But honestly this is not something a customer has to go thru when they made a reservation weeks in advance…

the associate that ran this location had car troubles. Fortunately, there was someone there to help. however, this person was not associated with uhaul. The trailer looked to be in good condition, however, the trailer broke during the trip which caused quite a delay. If the agent had been there, he probably would have caught the problem before I left.

My main issue is this was not the location I selected which negatively affected my timeline because they didn't open until 1200 which also affected the labor I had arranged. Not happy!

First trailer's lights did not work. Manager was supportive in arranging upsizing to another trailer on-site. 2 of the 4 trailers onsite were in poor condition.

I was charged $49 after dropping the Uhaul truck at this location at 6:30 pm. This was within the 48 hour time period. I tried calling this location several times during business hours and never got a answer so I left a voicemail asking for them to explain the $49 that this location charged me and they never returned my call. I also never received a bill or receipt from this location the way I did when I initially rented the truck from mineral. Thanks, Jason Williams

Open before the person's rental time or not allow reservations until the store's opening time. My rental time was 11:30, the location opens at 12:00.

The vehicle driving experience was very bad. The container part is clean and strong, no issues. It is very hard to drive, the steering is too hard to control. I have to drive slow to control. Engine noise is too much, very strong pickup and it makes strange noise when engine slows down. Gear selection is also too hard to lock and work.

Even though I had mobile check in, I still had to wait almost an hour to get the truck and receive the dolly that I rented. This location was not very organized and it caused a delay in my move.

When you say to use your phone to pick up the vehicle that is what I was expecting. I stood in line for 15 to 20 minutes because others we're picking up trucks as well. After standing in line then I was able to use my phone to check everything on the vehicle. Now I did use my phone to check the vehicle back in and went inside and dropped the key off which is very simple. Other than that it was a great experience. Everyone at this location was very courteous to everyone.

Had to pay for a truck and trailer separately so they tried to take my combo rate away, made me pay separate insurance (which made it double), only gave me 3/4 of a tank of gas and you try only filling up a uhaul tank right to 3/4ths, so I had to fill it all the way up. Finally, when I go to return the truck and trailer I am at the EXACT location emailed to me to drop it off and the guy says, no you gotta take it 5 miles this way, I take it there and the guy says I was supposed to drop it off over at the first place, the drop off centers were having a pissing match and making it my problem. Thankfully, the guy at the second place just took care of it for me. Absolutely the worst experience I've had in the entire moving process which is saying A LOT.
