KARLA DDo not allow these people to get away with stealing from your customer. I rented a U-Haul 26 the biggest truck. When I went to get it that's where it all started. I was given the wrong keys so after staying an hour waiting on the right keys to be put in the box my nightmare started. I originally rented the truck for two day 39,95 plus 15 a day insurance then 1,09 a mile. Oh and a dollar environmental fee. Okay that's per day. Now let me start so while I waited for my truck I finally see someone coming out the back yard with it the right truck it's close to 10:20 at night pick up was 9. So I estimated 50 miles cuz the representative said better to have more then to bring it back and owe. So okay I didn't need it the next day so I could return it a day early. Now when I first got in the truck thank God I snapped a photo of the dash notifications and when I brought it back I forgot to snap a photo but after this place charged me 41,1 for not putting gas back in it I was livid so I got in my car and drove back. U-Haul advised me they were closed but I knew it looked like a home so I went. I arrived and said on the door bell cam to either allow me to snap a pic or I was calling the cops so I had my evidence. So they opened the door gave me the keys and I provided to snap a photo. Let's not forgot my gas receipt I had also. Now I see not only are they trying to rip me off but guess what she lied about how many miles I traveled. So I told her look lady you may get away with this with others but not me. So I have reached out to U-Haul and waiting for a response but I have to say that a 26 foot U-Haul goes 10 miles per gallon. I had put 10 dollars in the gas tank and the price of gas is 2,56 a gallon. You do the math but like I told the lady I pumped the gas until the notification above fuel level said 60 miles to E like when I picked it up. So not only did she absolutely lie about mileage she also is lying about my fuel level. I have my photos and my gas receipt. I can't believe the way this was handled and I really hope U-Haul sees through her bullshit and gives me my money back it should be a full refund but I'm only asking for what I am owed rightfully.

BRANDI ROriginally uhaul sent me an email saying equipment might not be available at my chosen location. Then I got a notice stating the pick up address was indeed the location I chose. The night before I got a call from another location confirming details for pick up. She stated she was located elsewhere. I stuck to the (written) confirmation I had from. UHaul and went to Chris & Carla's catering. Using the app to check in I was told I'm at wrong address. Miss Carla was kind enough to assist me. It felt like someone else was trying to take her business. I had no intention to drive further away to pick up a truck when she already had the exact same one I needed at the location I chose and was confirmed for (again, in writing from Uhaul). Miss Carla salvaged my experience by providing the best customer service imaginable. After leaving her location...the "other" Uhaul spot began calling and calling me even though that reservation was cancelled through your online system AND with a rep on the phone. I didn't appreciate the mix up on Uhaul's end. What is going on that I get instructions verbally from a different uhaul location which contradict the written email instructions uhaul (corporate) gave me to go to the location of my choosing (closer). I would love to see this investigated. I would contact Miss Carla again directly if i need to rent a truck because she went above & beyond. Not so sure how I feel about uhaul the company though. I had to hire movers and this snafu caused a delay which increased time & expenses.

KARLA DDrove up to home and no one came to the door during published office hours. Decided to drive around back and located a man cutting grass. He directed when to off load trailer. We dropped trailer and left.
Dennis FIt's someone's back yard... very difficult to drop. Personnel helping me was someone's son not owner. My rental was checked in one day longer. This caused more delays in getting a corrected bill. I'm not real happy with this experience with uhaul.

leonard mI would like someone to call me and explain why I was I charged a $25 cleaning fee when I had to clean it before returning it. I should have been informed of this during the initial rental. Is this a uhaul policy or the location. I would like the cleaning fee returned and I can then changed my rating. Thanks Larry Hester

I thought I was going to have to cancel my whole reservation, she was like no way. She made it happen and I'm so grateful. As a disabled veteran, it's hard no and days for people to help and actually care but she does. Thank her and her son for an above exceptional service.
Brandon JThe experience from beginning to end was awful. The owners weren't at the property when we arrived and the truck wasn't ready. They had to get their son in to come out and find the keys and get our equipment: he sounded sick and was in his pajamas. The first truck he tried to give us sounded terrible, the one we ended up taking looked nothing like the photos and had large scratches and dents all down the sides and also drove really bad- the steering wheel had to be turned to the left to go straight and the engine was rough. We were almost an hour late picking up the uhaul because of all the issues. We took it, got home, realized the driver brake light was out, their was a hazard light out as well. The driver side window leaked to the point the cup holder was full of water. I tried to extend my rental due to the rain but was unable to do so on the website. When I spoke with the owner, Carla, she stated that she would be charging me another $147 for the additional rental. I expressed my concern that this didn't sound correct because my mileage wouldn't double and I was just running late due to the weather and that I shouldn't be charged twice for mileage I didn't use. I also expressed concern that when I quoted it online for two days, it didn't charge twice for equipment such as dollys. In return she stated "I've been doing this for ten years" when I told her I would contact the main uhaul number because it didn't sound right she responded "good luck" and ended up hanging up on me. I'm not sure how this particular company is able to rent uhauls but they are renting them out of a home/business they aren't even at and the whole experience was just bad. For as much as we pay, the vehicles should be well maintained and have all lights functioning and not leaking.

HANNAH LThe people were very nice, but their location needs to be cleaned up. Grass was very high with junk vehicles, I wouldn't want my wife to go there without me. I was very shocked that U-Haul would allowed them to be a dealer. I worked for U-Haul for over 20 years, back then they wouldn't be allowed to be a dealer. I was embarrassed for U-Haul.

MADISON TThis location is not good fro large trucks. very narrow drive, basically a house with single lane drive for trucks. I dropped truck off after hours, so no issues. Other than again i had to change drop off location. Again Uhaul changed my original drop off location to one that was much further away than the one i had booked. again no notifications. I changed to this location as it was much closer. Unhappy with this whole rental, from pick up to drop off. changing reservations without any contact is NOT ACCEPTABLE.
