Melissa BannisterNo call back after message left to verify receipt of trailer. I was unable to check out after hours since the system "could not verify location," per call center. A call from the facility would have been appreciated to acknowledge the return was complete without issue. Because I was unable to check out via app and no call from the drop off facility, I was not able to report an issue with the trailer. The coupler on the trailer is defective....had a difficult time at pick up to attach the trailer to the ball, and at drop off to remove trailer from the ball.
Vincent TruongThe truck was like brand new. People were helpful. Got a great deal. Don't like on phone app. Asked for counter service and was switched to phone app automatically. Tried to use it but did not work, so had people help anyway. At check out app could not even find my location just kept on spinning. Guy working took key but didn't check truck so I was not sure about status. I had swept out truck and folded blankets before returning truck. Had to check credit card statement, and was not charged extra so I guess everything was in order. App said to take pictures but never got that far to tell me of what, so I just took pictures of everything. Do not like the phone App.

Richard BrysonAs I reserved the truck at the placentia location, only to be told ( quite rudely by an employee named Nate) that my reservation had been moved to this location. There were multiple 10' trailers on site at the Placentia location, but I was told by Nate that they were reserved for other people. I was told by the other empty gate they all needed repairs before they could go out. Once I got to the Orange location, I found out that no one was there and I had to download the U-Haul app to pick up my truck. All of this delayed me by over an hour.

Paula shawI don't know how U haul as a company can let their trucks go out on the highway-They are notbvery good or dont care about the customer. I call the number to report the issue. Driver seat would not adjust Went to pull down sun visor and half of visor fell. The clamp was non existant on right side. Very dangerous. At night time, the light inside vehicle would not go on. I reported the first 2 complaints. Employees need to check these vehicles for potential hazardous situations. Such neglect on this truck. Wont rent from U Haul again.

FRANCHESCA VILLANUEVAFacility is too small. No place to park on premise and there are too many U-haul trucks parked on the public street. This is unsightly and an improper use of public parking.

TODD CALDWELLI understood that it was going to close at one PM, and I was slightly concerned, as I have never done this before, and there was absolutely no customer service. Now I know what to do for next time, however, when I had an issue It took an extra hour out of my already short time to fix it. Along with that I drove quite literally 21 miles. They charged me for every mile and did not tell me about gas. This could've all been fixed. If there was someone there to help and tell me because it was my first time. It is safe to say I will not ever be going to any U-Haul location again if no one is there. There was a service fee for just about everything I did and my $30 truck turned into $150. I feel cheated and I feel un helped. The only reason I took a U-Haul was to pick up $70 worth of appliances from Facebook marketplace, and the rest of my stuff. This was easily one of the worst possible experiences you could have. To improve for next time, instead of adding extra fees in forms of dollies and moving blankets; just be honest and just be direct because now I will literally never come here to this location again. Yes I understand. It was closed; however, who closes at 1pm? It's a Thursday.
