Had a horrible experience trying to pick up at the original location but the person working the counter at the Sherwood park location was really good

Building is under renovation and there is no key drop box I could find anywhere It was also closed at 2pm when I went to bring the truck back

I ordered follies and blankets and did not get them as they “weren't available”. Maybe stock some for each truck. The gentleman that was working the counter was excellent.

There was nobody there when I arrived to pick up keys . Phoned the number 2 times with no reply. This was an online order so assistant was aware there was someone coming to collect vehicle. Luckily my daughter saw assistant outside and told him I was waiting for the key . This cut into my hire time by at least 15 minutes. Also had to hire bigger vehicle as there was no vehicle of the correct most popular size available. I did fill vehicle up with gas when done but was charged an additional $60 for going over my mileage. What started out D a $20 hire eventually cost me $100.

I arrived when the location opened - to pick up my reserved cargo van. . Had to wait for another employee to bring a set of keys to unlock the key box in order to get the keys to the cargo van. The passenger part of the van was disgustingly dirty. I drove the van 29 km and had to put $12 of gas to fill the tank. This tells me the tank WAS NOT full. Will NEVER rent from this location nor will I recommend it to anyone else. Extremely disappointed!

Advise or have better signage to keep the customer aware of hours of operation. Vehicle return policy if the renter can't do that on their cell phone (no data plan).

Available, Friendly, convenient, and reliable. I've use the service twice, both experiences were quick & went well. July 27, 2023 only needed U-haul for a total 12 km trip to load and unload. 2 gals & only a few hours to rent. Dropped off by 6pm Smooth move. :)

Rented a car dolly. Booked ahead using customer service number and that all went well. Went to this location to pick up the dolly and found it covered in mud. In addition, the right side ratchet strap didn't work (we found this out later). I pointed this out to the agent and he had no knowledge of it. I hooked on the the dolly and first had to find a car wash. After washing the whole thing, we found out the ratchet was non functional. I disassembled it as far as I could, lubricated it, and reassembled it correctly. Finally we had a car dolly we could actually use.

The person at the desk was very good but the location is terrible and the van I rented was filthy. It has not been cleaned in a long time and there were a pile of half full water bottles on the floor by the drivers seat

The customer service at this location is actually awful. The experience was horrible and it truly did not have to be. The man working there on the day we returned the truck should not be in a service position. He went out of his way to be unhelpful and he was awful to deal with. I truly hope he gets fired. We will probably never use uhaul again after this experience. Thanks for nothing.

I realize that the truck I rented was a work truck but the interior was rather dirty. It didn't look like it had been cleaned in some time. I had to clean the interior of the windshield. As well the fuel economy gauge was broken off and sitting in the centre console.

I routinely rent for our business and don't think I will use this location again. Features (radio for example) didn't work on this unit. The second time I have rented here and on both occasions the dollies and equipment I rented were billed for but not in the unit on pick up. With the reduced hours, online check in is most likely. Maybe things would be better if there was someone there to address the shortcomings.

The location is decent but finding the store is impossible. I felt like I was playing a Zelda game where you just aimlessly walk around until you forced to ask a villager for help. No signs outside the building anywhere indicating there's a uhaul location. The only "sign" is that there are uhaul trucks in the parking lot. Nice hint I guess. The inside of the uhaul I rented was kind of gross too and smelt like cigeratte smoke. However, the employee working there was amazing! Very polite, helpful, and understanding.

I was very surprised at the final cost for my rental ... almost double what I had been quoted and was expecting. Not happy about that! In terms of this location, it is not easy to find the rental desk and there is no outdoor directional signage that I could see guiding customers.

When I picked up the trailer the person there said my contract was for 2 days, even though I said I only wanted it for one day. He assured me if I just dropped it off that evening that the person on duty would see it in the morning and put it into the computer, thus only charging me for one day. I dropped it off that evening. I didn't get any email confirmation the next day, so I called the site. No answer. I left a message to call me. Nobody ever called me. I called 3 more times. Nobody ever answered. Then of course on Tuesday, the next day, I got an email saying I was charged for 2 days. So nobody even checked to see if the trailer was there for one full day. It could have been stolen in that time, as it's not a secure site. Just a parking lot. So then I had to call customer service and explain everything in order to get it changed to one day. The reason I rented from this location is because the original location I had it booked at did not have it. This after I had booked it 5 days in advance, and had called the location to make sure it was there before I went to pick it up. I was assured that it was there, so come on down and pick it up. When I got there, I was told there is no trailer here for you. It was too late to pick one up from somewhere else, so I had to pick it up the next day. This screwed up all my plans. Your booking system is the worst I have ever experienced. Nobody ever checks to see if the trailer or truck you booked is actually there. They can see in the computer that one is booked, so they should patrol the lot and see if it is actually there on the day it is scheduled to be picked up. If it's not, they should phone the customer so he can try to find one elsewhere, rather than just sit there and wait for the customer to drive all the way there only to find out there's nothing there for him. Honestly, I don't know how UHaul stays in business.

When my husband and son in law dropped off the trailer, there was a worker outdoors already. He simply asked if they were returning the trailer and told them to unhook at a spot on site. He never gave any other details of what else might be needed so they left, just that the $60 deposit they asked about should be returned to our credit card. Since then, I have received an emailed receipt of the return with a 0.00 balance. In checking my credit card statement online, there has not yet been a return. Guess I will have to follow up with this matter.

Everything was great except that the gas tank was less than 1/3 full. I didn't have far to go but it was tough to estimate the fuel usage. I put more in than I used. The gas tank should be FULL for every customer…especially when the location is literally at a gas station. But the gentleman working there was awesome and his customer service was excellent.

The customer service provided by Amid was excellent. He was not only very reliable but made excellent recommendations about the size of unit we should rent. He even went above and beyond by carrying the moving blankets to the vehicle for us. He was professional and extremely accommodating with our bookings. Thank you!!

Not overcharge. I paid 188 dollars upfront before taking the truck then got charged another 200 when returning it. Most expensive rental ive ever seen. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

It's terrible no one answers your phone calls . We dropped the truck the next day and no one was in the office . I booked a small unit and was disappointed that when I got to the location they didn't have the size I wanted . Otherwise it's a great company to rent . One should have another dearlwrship . Poor service at this location .

I filled the gas tank back to 1/2 where it was when I picked up the truck and i was still charged $28 for gas.. Truck was dirty and the check engine and temperature lights came on

No one at location for 5pm appointment. Phone number left at location had full mailbox. No one answered text. Truck was dirty outside. We had to completely sweep out inside before we could use it.

I have had two experiences with this move that deals with inventory of trucks and equipment sitting on lots and yet not showing up in your system as available! When I was trying to book a truck your system said there ws no trucks available that day. After phoning around one place said they had five trucks available to go out of town regardless what the system said. Later when I dropped off the truck the person there said they had a car hauler sitting there that is not in the system and siad there was no way for him to add it in there. Now that speaks to there being big problems! I think its in your best interest to get your inventory straightened out, don't you.

The actual location was very convenient for me but The vehicle was muddy, the seats were covered with pet hair, strong smell of cigarettes and the clock time wasn't set correctly- If you could maintain the vehicles better I honestly feel this would have been a great experience because of the very kind employee you had who rented me the vehicle-he was helpful, knowledgeable and understood the situation for me-having to rent a vehicle and what size of vehicle would suit my purpose best, he gave great service

Provide a dolly for each vehicle, if possible

Probably not your fault but make sure the windshield wipers are secured properly or at least replaced regularly, as mine flew off on the highway and almost hit a cop car.
