I really appreciate this U-Haul agency in Columbia, TN. Everytime I've worked with them, they've been so helpful - going above and beyond my expectations. Just recently, with my truck rental, a particular piece of equipment was in out of stock. However, the manager made sure we were well supplied. Our job got done, and everyone was pleased. This business has my highest recommendation.

The hotel is extremely run down and overgrown with weeds. There is trash laying all around in the weeded areas and parking lot. This hotel looks like a scene from a murder mystery show. My wife was scared to be left in the vehicle alone when I returned the trailer. This hotel has always been known to be an area for drug users, but it's even worse now. While the front desk guy was nice and the equipment was maintained, I won't return here because it's unsafe to do so.

I told the guy that the passenger taillight turned on but did not work for brakes or turn signal and he said it was fine.

Roaches in office. No one in office upon arrival. Broken equipment. Lie and say my vehicle wouldnt fit and changed the car being towed.

Completely unacceptable behavior from this location. The owner is a con artist. Tried to sell me insurance for $25 cash. I told him I already purchased insurance in my reservation for $16. Then sold me a hitch for $45!!!! What a rip off! Then again asked for cash. Is this what U-Haul represents??

Truck cab was pretty gross is all, otherwise the location was convenient and service there was efficient.

Rude I was doing the self drop off he came and tooke the key and drove off as I was taking the pic for the online part. I was more then a little upset.

Once again, I received the best of service and support from the U-Haul agency on 1201 Highway 31, in Columbia. The people at this location are always curteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. I'm consistently taken well care of when working with the excellent staff here. I'd recommend this U-Haul business to anyone I know.

The mobile check in took forever to try and set up and we ended up just going inside. I lost almost an hour of my rental time trying to do the app check in. The truck's gages kept going out. The first 2-3 gears struggled during takeoff and braking was very difficult. The engine was very loud when trying to stop.

It is located in the lobby of a hotel and reeks of cigarette smoke. The staff is friendly and equipment was decent.

This location has the customer connect & disconnect the trailer from the hitch. Having a trailer dolly available would be helpful, and not having one kept me from rating it excellent. I needed some help with the 6x12 cargo. However, they paid attention to how it was done and took pictures to document it. I was impressed with that.

Office not open when I arrived for me reservation. Location confusing, equipment kind of beat up.

He gives us a so much stress for few days to reserve the car , when we pick up the car was very dirty and full of mud . We asked him why it's not clean! , he said he's not supposed to clean it , we have to clean and wash the inside before loading the car . But we love the driveing the car for 3 days so comfortable

I was impressed at the cleanliness of the cab of the truck. I have had experience with previous rentals at other locations and the truck was so dirty and smelled. This location takes pride in the truck rentals experience!

The truck was dirty when I picked it up. Empty cups in the front cabin, as well as grass and screws all over the back of the truck. The blankets I was provided were also covered in dry leaves and grass.

Drop off was a nightmare. The employee insisted the trailer did not match the contract. After contacting UHaul customer service, they verified the trailer was correct on the contract. The employee continued to insist we had the wrong trailer. He showed my husband his paperwork and it was the same trailer number we were dropping off. This cost us an hour of time and stress. We do not recommend dropping off at this location.

The staff at this location are dependable, and very helpful. They are my "go to" business when I work with U-Haul. I'd recommend this company to anyone I know.

Truck was not Available at the location closest to me. Was not compensated for extra mileage added to my reservation due to no availability or attempt to have truck at nearest location. Truck was an older truck that had what appeared to be an exhaust leak, tie down broken. Location was late opening.

The owner poorly communicated to me when he was attempting to hook up the trailer to my truck. He let the trailer roll downhill and ran into my truck. The property is filthy, full of junk cars, and heavy drug traffic. I did not feel safe in this location.

I had to help the man push the trailer by hand into a parking space after it was disconnected from the truck. I am 71 years old with a rare heart disease and am not supposed to do anything strenuous! I had to manually push it up a hill and hold it while he went to get the wheel chucks. Horrible experience!

U-Haul was dirty. The first location didn’t have the U-Haul set up which required us to drive 45 minute to another location to get one.

The truck was extremely old and used, the battery would die in the middle of being used. The clerk showed up 10 minutes after our scheduled pick up time/when they said they would be open. He was also rude and unprofessional. The return visit was better but not by much.

The person at the front desk was unfriendly, I will take some blame to the fact I was late for my pick up time. I apologized many times for this. While checking out at the main desk a small cockroach crawled across the counter, the main area for pick up was disgusting.

I rented the 28 foot truck and I don't know if the shots were bad or the transmission but I drove 50 miles in back and it just shook the entire time. And I try to call the owners. And they tell me that everything was fine with the truck and it's my imagination. All because they want to keep using their faulty truck. That they say it's fine. A test drove which is a lie. And I know no one else ran to it. Because I had it Saturday. There's no way you had 5 people after me. Rent it so that's a Li and I don't want to give me any money back. So they tell me it's my imagination. When I have video proof.

The guy running that place relies on the customer to park his trailers and park his trucks because he can't drive. Didn't know I had to be his yard man. Do not go there!

The website for booking was very misleading. I selected a truck that was $0,79 per mile. To my surprise at pickup, the charge was $0,99 per mile for "weekends". I was stuck and had no time to find another truck. I will submit this review and never hear anything back from UHaul as usual with these types of surveys. I will book with other moving companies in the future.

I was asked to drop off the trailer in between other trailers in a Motel or Hotel parking lot with cars parked pretty much everywhere. Might be easy for someone who hauls trailers all the time, but not necessarily for your average u-haul user.

Did not have business open on time,30 minutes late. Had trouble finding them in office to return the trailer. This place was the worst run of any that I have ever used.

The air conditioner did not work and the truck was extremely filthy. The regional Uhaul manager made the experience great for me and compensated me, but the owner of the location was absolutely rude and did not care one way or the other about the condition of the truck.

They had a lot of trailers on the lot. The lot is also a hotel parking lot. He insisted on me to double park the trailer in the same spot with another. No room to back in. I finally told him we have to unhook it and push it by hand. I'm 65 year old and he was of no help doing anything! Very Disappointed! Also, I requested a receipt that I returned the trailer and was told "the system was down". He rudely said if I want a receipt just take a picture, which I did.

Don't make the customer solo unhook, move, park and secure Uhaul equipment. Offer to assist in the process.

The truck ran okay, but it had a crack in the drivers mirror, TPM showed rear tires underinflated and driver's sunvisor would not stay up. The owner/attendant was good, except the printer was low on ink, so I never got to actually read my contract. As I said, the truck was clean and was able to get our move completed. But it was the worst U-Haul rental experience that I have ever had (I believe this was number 5 for me).
