The check in process is a big hassle and took forever. Also when I picked up the truck it was below 3/4 fuel and they tried charging me when I brought it back at the same fuel level. Not happy at all with my renting experience and won't be renting from U-Haul again.

David S.Had to drive quite a ways to pick up uhaul. Drove back to storage shed only a few miles from requested pickup location. Loaded and went straight to destination and then drop off location. At pick up had to have cops help obtain keys. Upon return put 60$ in gas tank which brought it to 3/4 tank. Once I got to Appleton I put in another 10. I took a picture upon return steps it was where it needed to be. I see a charge come through online checkin. I immediately go inside and say absolutely not responsible for mileage when I had to drive back to town after pick up. She said I would get a call from Devon in a few hours. This was on Monday. Today I get an email saying I owe for mileage and fuel. I called location again and am told Devon will call this afternoon. Have not heard a word. I am not paying another penny for the uhaul.

Nick S.Was an issue with the connection, by way of the four prong, the end was quite dirty really need to keep them clean as we had an issue with the right blinker on the trailer, but finally got it to work, those four prong connections should have a cap on them to protect them from road grime and such otherwise all was good.

Glen E.The only thing that was frustrating was the previous person had done a mobile church in when he returned the truck. It didn't go through, because of this I was almost not allowed to rent the truck. Which would've beem horrible as I was on a time crunch. The rep figured out how to do it and got me out of there about 45 minutes later. That wasted a lot of valuable time.

Brad Z.The women inside would not help me park the trailer, they would not help me unhook the tow rig either, I was told in Lincoln to only let the UHAUL associates connect or disconnect the tow, they insisted that they do not know how, so how do you have UHAUL associates that don't know how to operate UHAUL equipment??? I was very offended and dissatisfied by my experience with this location in Brandon, South Dakota on Cedar St. They even told me that my drop off was not at their location, when I had a confirmation text from UHAUL listing their location, my son is of mixed race and I do believe that they were rude and disrespectful and short with us for the simple reason my son is a person of color, we likely would drive to the next town before EVER going to the Brandon location ever again, I will also let people know the horrible treatment we received

Ronald Z.I was scheduled and received a text of the dealer location the day before pickup of the truck and advised to call and confirm. I called the number and left a voicemail. Upon arrival the next day, the person checking me in had no idea of the voicemail I left to confirm the reservation, but the truck was available and she was expecting me anyway. Very nice person. I inspected the exterior of the truck and it was fine, but the interior was filthy with dust, dirt, and pet hair. I wiped all the 'touch' places down thoroughly with a sanitizing wipe before driving the truck to my hotel. No, I didn't go back inside to advise the person that it was filthy. At the hotel, I got a wet rag and wiped down more of the interior before driving it again the next day to start loading it and before my one-way drive to my house in Rapid City. After unloading and before returning the truck to the local U-Haul Center, I vacuumed and washed down the interior completely. I didn't want to be held responsible for a filthy interior, since I only drove it 6 hours and less than 350 miles on a beautiful day. Otherwise, the truck operated great and allowed me to complete the transfer of household goods from a storage PODS to my rental house.

Katie H.I was able to get my truck but the process was not with out problems. I reserved a truck online for the next day. I just needed it for a few hours to haul some furniture. The booking went fine and I received a confirmation email telling me I should go to the location the next day at 5 pm to pick up the truck. When I arrived at the location, it was 5 pm and all the workers had gone home for the day. I was told they close the office at 5 pm. Fortunately I hadn't made the reservation for any later than that or I wouldn't have been able to get the truck.They were called, but had no knowledge of my reservation. It seems there was a breakdown in communication between the online process and actual fulfillment. Luckily, there was still one person who hadn't left for the day who tried to help. He called U Haul for me, but they didn't seem to be able to find my reservation and I wasn't asked for my confirmation number which might have helped the process. There were some tense moments as I had a crew waiting on me so they could load up my stuff. In the end, I was able to get the truck and it worked well. The location was very convenient for me so we will likely use them again if we have a need. I would strongly suggest some sort of training or better communication between the online orders and local offices.
