Desonia AlexanderI rented an appliance dolly and a 15' during after hours. Once we arrived home we noticed there was no dolly. Why have the option if your location doesnt even sell these rentals! Very inconvenient

Andre WilliamsI'll start with what was good. The young lady who checked out the truck to me and a different young lady who checked it in were very polite and professional. First problem. I requested a flat 4 wheel furniture dolly when I made my reservation. When I arrived to pick up the truck I was informed that they didn't have one and was offered no alternative other than to go to another location and try to get one there. It was 15 min before closing and no way for me to get there. This created a significant problem for me during my move the next day. Second problem. I was asked to approve photos of the truck that looked like they were taken the day it was purchased. Everything in the photos was pristine. In actuality the truck had over 30 areas of damage that I had to call in to report before leaving the premises with the truck. In addition, the "check engine" light was on indicating maintenance was needed. There was significant slippage in the transmission and a large gash in the sidewall of the passenger side rear tire. The inside of the cargo area was filthy and had not been swept out. Pieces of plastic, several nails, gum, and a lot of material that either came from inside some furniture or a small animal was sheared back there. The fuel tank was only half full leaving me to guess how much gas to put in before returning. Third problem. Upon my return at 3:40 PM there was a sign on the door that stated no one was in and they'd be returning at 4:30 PM. I did not have 50 min to wait around and since I'd driven significantly fewer miles than estimated I needed to make certain before I left that I was not charged the amount originally quoted. I called the number posted and told the man who answered that I was on site to return a truck. He asked me "what kind of truck?" I asked "what kind of trucks do you rent?" He said "Penske, Hertz, U Haul" and continued on. I found that odd since they're only listed as a U Haul location. I told him there was no one there to check the vehicle in and I needed my paperwork before leaving. I got a rather snippy attitude and said they were probably at lunch. Odd to me that lunch break comes 2 hours before close of business. At this point I hung up and called the 800 number for U Haul. I was on the line with an agent when a woman miraculously appeared to check in my vehicle. All in all this location proved to be VERY frustrating and I would not use them again.

Both the person who helped us reserve the 10' truck and the person onsite that finished our rental were great to work with. Everything was great with the truck and check out was very easy.
Joan HueyVery rude and unhelpful. Next time, listen fully so you can understand the full scope of the issue instead of ignoring the customer and trying to rush them off the phone. This resulted in an unresolved issue and reflects poorly on your services and uhaul. Practicing active listening would be a major advantage.

Kimberly BoothThe facility was motivated open when I dropped the vehicle off before 3pm. The truck was not check in the day it was dropped off. I was charged $49 for 9 gallons of gas when I only use 24 miles. I put $11 of gas which covered the 24 miles. I called and Allison transferred me to customer service. I want my money back and some action taken for them lying. How was I charged for 9 gallon of gas? I only went 24 miles. The math don't add up and someone is stealing. I need a call back ASAP. Customer service stated that I would receive a call back within 3 days......still waiting! I am very upset this has happened.

Antonio Grimesi ordered and paid for 10 moving pads. There were only 4 in my truck. My pickup location changed the day before. I had to drive an extra 20 minutes. I had to do the self-check in. That process took 40 minutes. That's after i had already checked in and paid online the day before pickup. It should not be that hard to get a truck. i will never rent from Uhaul again.

Edwin MoralesWe had problems at the U-Haul location on Summer Ave in Memphis telling us they did not have the truck we had a contract for at that location after we got there and she told us we would have to drive round trip 100 miles down into Mississippi and back to get a truck at another location. I did not get a phone call from U-Haul to confirm anything like it said on the contract they would do by 6 P.M. the evening prior to us picking up the truck. Thank goodness for your 800 number and the help we got finding a truck in Memphis at Cordova Self Storage instead of driving to Mississippi...
Greg DunphyWhen we reserved, at the location, there were things we ran into that we were not told much about. We were told read the instructions, you'll get information. When we went to pick up the truck we ended up having to call for help because we could not get the box to open. It was not fun. They had to transfer us to some special person. When we drop the unit off going through your sequence of taking pictures for this and recording that and doing the work of your people was not what we expected. We will never rent from you again.

Robert BroomIt wasn't the location, it was Uhaul. My reservation pick up location and time was changed without my knowledge. Another customer that was there had the same issue and they received a $50 credit but was still upset and disappointed. I could not get the key to even turn in my truck so once the gentleman at the location got it to work I never turned it off for fear of me having to call roadside assistance to get it to turn again as I was instructed. Why would you rent a truck that does this??? The truck smelled badly, had graffiti on the inside, visor was then off and laying on dash and interior light was ripped out. All this for over $60 buck for less than hour and 20 miles. Very disappointed overall.
