Denis PExplain that the $500 truck rental fee isn't the only fee. Explain that you'll charge them an inexplicable fee for "truck rental" after you drop the vehicle off. I thought I paid $500 for a truck rental but apparently it was just the down payment.
Darren PLast time I checked out the $21 van deal it was 21.00.. This time it was $58! I could have used my own pickup and made 2 trips for that deal. No thank you.
Victoria NVehicle smelled of cigarettes. Had to drive with windows down. Have asthma - trust me it was necessary. This was a 6 hour rental starting at 10 AM. Drop off location closed at 2:00 PM on day of drop off. Pickup staff did not offer this info, and "after hours" drop off options were not obvious. Took an extended amount of time to go online, fill out forms, take pictures, etc - time I did not anticipate having to schedule. Yes that's my problem but for sure one I did not anticipate having to deal with at 2 in the afternoon on a Wednesday.
Tim HTruck was in poor condition. Gas line was inoperable and I had to fix on the road in order to fuel. Truck had standing water in back. Belts whined loudly for 230 mile trip and no representative at any location would offer much help other than to tell me to keep roadside assistance number handy. No partial refund, no "sorry your rental wasn't satisfactory ". It's like I rented a truck in Zimbabwe or Mogadishu. Very disappointing.
Heath GI had to wait 2,5 hours for them to open in order to get my moving supplies as they were not in the truck when I went to pick it up at 7 AM.
JANET VYour app could be better designed I think but overall everything was fine.
Lori KIt was convenient to drop it off closer to my house.
Rafael MI missed the 15 minute window to get the key from the key box. Then I had a difficult time getting the key after following the direcdtions of your support office over the phone. I was standing in snow trying to follow complicated directions for which I could not write down. I had to come back when the office opened at 9:30 AM to have the attendant open the keybox and give me the key. I really liked the location staff but your short window policy and how to recover when missed needs improvement.
Donald RThe truck seemed to have a bit of an issue excelling. You'd have to drive it to see what I mean, it's like it's not shifting gear's easily when taking off. The on line check in was a bit cumbersome. When I first checked in everything appeared intuitive, however when I went to actually check out the truck, I had to call customer support and she had to reset something.

James BI got overcharged $75. I rented the van to go to Waldport with 100 miles. When I was checking out I was offered a discount to return it to Corvallis. That discount included an additional 75 miles to cover the drive to Corvallis. Somehow that detail didn't get into my paperwork.

ROBIN PPerhaps the attendant can have a little more compassion when a customer has a bad experience.
THOMAS BWhen I received the truck it had front end bumper damage that caused the tire to grate loudly on the bumper whenever i made a right turn. The location didn't have a standard handtruck/dolly which i had requested so I had to make do with an appliance dolly. Additionally, my preferred drop off location which I found through Uhaul's website was not available so I had to drive 25 minutes to drop off when there was a location just 1 mile from my destination. Overall not pleased.

TODD TWe made reservations for 2:00. The office was locked we had to wait an hour for the lady to return. They not only charged my card but my wife's as well.
Charlie HBeware 1 day doesn't mean 8 hours it means 6. If you go beyond six, even by an hour- they charge you for 2 days! Ridiculous. A day is 24 hours, at minimum it's 8. Not 6.
Aaron FI booked an 8' Pickup Truck through the UHaul phone App on 3/25 to be picked up at the Corvallis SelfStorage 43403 location on 3/26. I arrived to the location on 3/26 to pick up my truck. 1- I was not able to do self-checkout through the app and had to go inside the store to complete the check-out. I am a cancer patient and specifically wanted no-contact/ low-risk transaction. 2- I was given a 10' Truck instead of what I had specifically booked the day before, an 8' Pickup Truck. Employee was apologetic but the whole experience was very poor.
